Have you ever given thought to the possiblity that everyone rates strength highly for a reason? I think the reason is being obsessed about the max hit being 1-2 higher. yeah but you also have to take into consideration that at some point, slightly better str bonus is better than higher attack bonus. for example, VS a low def monster or opponent, having additional attack bonus will not result in significant hit rates, while having a better str bonus garantees that you will have better overall damage dealt.

I read your post, but I have no idea what your intentions or motives are. iu have no idea what minigame brings that much money into the game. I don't know how you can say that the graphics will become (worse?) soon... you have proof of this or you don't like the way they are changing the looks with cartoony stuff? From what I see, RSC died because they released RS2, so, RS2 would die after they release a new game, which would be MechScape. Dunno, just guessing. Though honestly, I still can't see how runescape will die if they hadn't changed everything. RSC died because Jagex made it die. RS2 will not die because of Mechspace, Jagex clearly stated that RS will be their priority for the next 5 years. That's like saying no one will buy old Metallica titles because they release a new album... Runescape probably wouldn't have died if they had kept the trade limits, but they would have lost a lot of money from credit card company not wanting to do business with them because of the stolen credit card problem. That money loss would have meant less updates, and less updates means less members, a downward spiral. Ok, but it still seemed mighty fine during the days where autoers ruled all the resources, with a steady increase in number of players (although alot of those were autoers/goldfarmers), the company still grew in size right? I thought all games faced RWT problems. If you liked having to battle for green dragons or blue dragons against gold farmers from china or seeing some bots who would transfer all his money to some player so he could buy a p-hat or a skill to 99, then it's a matter of opinion. I didn't like that time.

Honestly, it doesn't make many people want members. Prayer isn't even used by a lot of accounts. It might help keep them there once they get there, but the bury-x would ultimately benefit anybody who does. Well I have to say that the prayer skill in F2P is very different from the members because of the fact that members can prolong their prayer use with potions and the falador shield. As for the second sentence, I have no doubt about that concerning F2P players.

true, english is my second language, which I consider not that bad compared to some on these boards. I'm not a native speaker of English too, but my English seems to be quite a bit better than yours. Its effort really. Yeah, I agree. Many people who are supposed to be native English speakers have horrible English, whereas some non-native speakers have near-perfect English. Yeah I noticed your English is better than me, thing is, I'm willing to improve mine unlike some other posters. Typos are a matter of effort, while grammatical errors are often a matter of not knowing the proper spelling. I'm taking notes when I get corrected, because if it's not a big deal on these boards... It would be pretty embarassing if I made these mistakes at my job.

I wouldn't mind them having the cape as long as it had no equipment stats. I would suggest slightly better than a normal cape, personally. Something like +5 to all def bonus would be reasonable. A lesser version of the legends cape. I'd agree with this.

Read back what I wrote a couple times... Better yet, ask an adult to explain it to you. I have too say that this situation is a pretty good incentive to get membership though. From a Jagex point of view, it's like they are teasing with you with the prayer skill. Nice rewards with high prayer in P2P and better ways to level it too.

Look at the Jagex news and tell me how many of those are updates... you are definitely clueless if you think we are getting updates every week. the math speaks for itself when you are using correct variables which you are not. I know it would improve gameplay, I was not debating that. I was mostly pointing out that this specific feature, as useful as it would be to F2Pers probably isn't (a guess of mine) and shouldn't ( my opinion on the subject) be a priority for Jagex. For them to be consequent though on their claim that F2P is a game on its own, they should add a highscore for you guys. Or at least make the highscore with search features with XP and such.

@ Mauriniaus Excellent post I might say. The suggestion for a storage box for ex members is actually an excellent idea. One I would support 100%. As for the countless tweaks and such, since the beginning of the year, we usually get 2 updates per month. If you count a quest as an update and the dozen features in the patch notes as several updates then yeah, we are getting at least 100 updates a year. Then so are F2P for the same point of view. As for the revenues from ads, I know that a great majority comes from F2Pers, I was just pointing out that you can't say it is 100%. revenants are indeed way overpowered and the combat triangle is not balanced at all, these should be corrected before a bury-x feature. From my perspective, F2P is a training ground for P2P and a game for those who do not have the means and time to play the full game. I would not be angry at all if Jagex started implementing F2P updates only, I'd be puzzled at first and probably would re consider my membership if the trend continued. I love this game and who be pretty pissed off if the company making it started givinig too much attention to the players that don't pay to maintain it.

Memebers get atleast 1 update a week thats 51/52 updates a year, a quater of 51 is 12.75 so even with 10 updates a year they are still not even getting a quater of our updates and your pissed at the number 5 or 6!?!?! I think you got it backwards... raw material skills are being screwed by combat in the sense that you can get some raw materials as a drop, meaning you have no need to skill to gather you materials.

I knew I was arguying with a child even before I saw you use the Wall meme. I never said the ads that members have to view contribute to a lot. I just said that you can't argue that the revenues from ads are a 100% contribution from F2Pers. They contribute towards the game by having ads on the top of their screen... and that entitle them to a qurter of members update? We currently have 2 updates a months. I saw some of you throw the 5-6 updates a year around. I could call that greed also.
