As a slayer, SGS owns. So from a slayer's point of view, the GS would be better.

I'm not sure the equipment bonus is needed if it were to become F2P. It's purpose is to show off your achivement: getting 99 in a skill. I agree on that except it should have at the very least the basic cape stats ( +1, +2 I think).

I'm still not convinced that F2P should get skill capes with the full equipment bonus that we have now on P2P. Anything equal or over legends cape would undermine that quest achievement in my opinion. @ ibxtoycat Members already have many advantages over F2Pers, why would it shock you that in this particular case, they still have better training methods?

@ allisgreat I just have to post something here to put things into perspective... Would you listen to a friend if he kept on giving you bad advices? When the trade limits were removed and the wildy changed (please stop using the expression "removing of the wilderness"), there were lots of angry players giving bad advices to Jagex. And from what I can understand in Jagex view, any advice that could lead to RWT was a bad advice. I agree that Jagex has been bad with bugs on update day so far and that even though they think they finally have the perfect system, players always seem to find a way to abuse it. I would like to hear those ideas that would have kept the old style pking and staking without RWT.

I agree with your post except RC is better xp per hour than slayer (even with cannon). Well said, though getting 200 mil XP in RC with today's trade limits will probably not happen until the next 2-3 years.

Noob calling has been around ever since this game was created. This is nothing new, this is not showing any trend whatsoever, your analysis is pretty shortsighted and if getting called a noob is setting you off enough that you have to come here to rant, take some time off the net. There should be a sticky in the rants forum for all these "people insulting me over the net" threads. Can a mod create this so all the insecure players have a place to meet and rant while the top of the rants forum gets filled with legitimate discussion-worthy rants? EDIT: this should be moved to the behavior sticky. AS should the dozen or so threads like this that pop up weekly.

Very funny topic. That chat dialog between Zez ans eliane is probably true.. he used to stalk her in my previous clan chat 2-3 years ago after they broke up. All in all, not much discussion value in that. It's like saying people will go in nuclear reactors because they saw Homer Simpson doing it.

Have you ever given thought to the possiblity that everyone rates strength highly for a reason? I think the reason is being obsessed about the max hit being 1-2 higher. yeah but you also have to take into consideration that at some point, slightly better str bonus is better than higher attack bonus. for example, VS a low def monster or opponent, having additional attack bonus will not result in significant hit rates, while having a better str bonus garantees that you will have better overall damage dealt.

I read your post, but I have no idea what your intentions or motives are. iu have no idea what minigame brings that much money into the game. I don't know how you can say that the graphics will become (worse?) soon... you have proof of this or you don't like the way they are changing the looks with cartoony stuff? I don't know why people like you (and a few hundred thousand others) can't understand that those changes are necessary and RuneScape will die without them. I don't understand, please explain to me. From what I see, RSC died because they released RS2, so, RS2 would die after they release a new game, which would be MechScape. Dunno, just guessing. Though honestly, I still can't see how runescape will die if they hadn't changed everything. RSC died because Jagex made it die. RS2 will not die because of Mechspace, Jagex clearly stated that RS will be their priority for the next 5 years. That's like saying no one will buy old Metallica titles because they release a new album... Runescape probably wouldn't have died if they had kept the trade limits, but they would have lost a lot of money from credit card company not wanting to do business with them because of the stolen credit card problem. That money loss would have meant less updates, and less updates means less members, a downward spiral. Ok, but it still seemed mighty fine during the days where autoers ruled all the resources, with a steady increase in number of players (although alot of those were autoers/goldfarmers), the company still grew in size right? I thought all games faced RWT problems. If you liked having to battle for green dragons or blue dragons against gold farmers from china or seeing some bots who would transfer all his money to some player so he could buy a p-hat or a skill to 99, then it's a matter of opinion. I didn't like that time.

Honestly, it doesn't make many people want members. Prayer isn't even used by a lot of accounts. It might help keep them there once they get there, but the bury-x would ultimately benefit anybody who does. Well I have to say that the prayer skill in F2P is very different from the members because of the fact that members can prolong their prayer use with potions and the falador shield. As for the second sentence, I have no doubt about that concerning F2P players.

true, english is my second language, which I consider not that bad compared to some on these boards. I'm not a native speaker of English too, but my English seems to be quite a bit better than yours. Its effort really. Yeah, I agree. Many people who are supposed to be native English speakers have horrible English, whereas some non-native speakers have near-perfect English. Yeah I noticed your English is better than me, thing is, I'm willing to improve mine unlike some other posters. Typos are a matter of effort, while grammatical errors are often a matter of not knowing the proper spelling. I'm taking notes when I get corrected, because if it's not a big deal on these boards... It would be pretty embarassing if I made these mistakes at my job.

I wouldn't mind them having the cape as long as it had no equipment stats. I would suggest slightly better than a normal cape, personally. Something like +5 to all def bonus would be reasonable. A lesser version of the legends cape. I'd agree with this.

Read back what I wrote a couple times... Better yet, ask an adult to explain it to you. I have too say that this situation is a pretty good incentive to get membership though. From a Jagex point of view, it's like they are teasing with you with the prayer skill. Nice rewards with high prayer in P2P and better ways to level it too.
