Should be in questionnaires... And I say RC as the most profitable skill. Are you trying to boost your post count with all these topics?
-
should be in questionnaires... SGS is the best for slayers and for me.
-
Mostly a beast of burden for hides and bones, but that was not my point and I'm pretty sure the 52 summon familiar is not 52 combat.
-
Yeah, but only of specters tasks. I usually do them in 2-3 tasks and the random clue will sometimes dictate my bank stop. But like I said, banking with a ring of slaying only takes 1-2 minutes top. I don't mind taking 5-6 minutes more per specters task for 50-75k more herb-value.
-
Lol didn't that, and stressful indeed!
-
No I don't pray when I cannon, with enough mage def and monkfish, I usually get a full invent pretty quick and bank in less than 1 minute with my ring of slaying. 99 def and mage sure helps though.
-
No I mean at the same time you attack an ennemy. I was meleeing the KBD last week end and was ordering my familiar to attack it and got the response the monster was too far away... my t-bird then proceeded to wander around a bit before deciding to attack it 15 seconds into the fight. I want instant combat from familiars. Edit : And I don't want to have to order it into combat either.

Pollivneach : - less crowded, - multi way : you can use cannon there and your combat familiar will actually help a little - you need the slayer helmet though Slayer Tower: - they are agressive here, you can semi afk them when you are alone in one of the 2 rooms - closer to a bank with or without a slayer ring
-
summoning familiars that will engage enemies when you are in combat right away.
-
You might want to have a familiar with an inventory to bank more herbs... T-birds, war tortoise, bull ants...
-
It's a matter of opinion when saying it's worth it or not. I also cannon them and always bring a familiar (war tortoise) to bank more and I usually bank when the familiar is near death, which is frequently when I run out of monkfish.
-
Not really, if you bank all herbs worth more than 1K, you should be making a better profit using food and doing your tasks in more trips. If you have a slayer ring, banking time becomes a non variable in your xp rates. People say you get more ranarrs than you use prayer potions at specters which is true, but what they fail to mention is that you would make more cash banking than staying the whole task only keeping high value herbs and other drops.

From my experience as a slayer, these are the monsters (from the shilo master) that drop the most blue charms: - Dark beast (looks like you don't have the requirement) - Gargoyles ( same as dark beasts) - Aberrant Specters (lots of banking involved if you plan on banking all herbs worth more than 1K)

Seek professional help if something like this pisses you off because like it or not, publicity is like that everywhere.

This is a game mostly played by kids and teens. This behavior should be expected. Ohhh and by the way, welcome to the internet where you can express your opinions without taking an I.Q. test.

It will happen in the next 5-7 years especially if low xp skills like agility, RC and slayer get upgraded. In fact, any upgrade to the general equipment set-up for slayer will result in better xp per hour. With the latest run update, both agility and RC have been given a boost regarding xp per hour. If it's not Gert or Aasiwat getting it done, it's gonna be someone else, but I'm pretty sure it will happen. There is nothing that indicates that RS will not be here for another 5-7 years and even with 30% decrease in the player base per year, there would still be 25K players online at the same time in 5 years, which would be enough for Jagex to maintain a pretty stable game with fewer servers and updates.

Most people are fundamentally bad and need incentives to act in a good way. Punishments will keep people from acting bad, with the lack of punishment over the Internet, nothing will stear someone on the right track except that person's conscience and this is not a skill most people train.
-
From my point of view, Jagex are doing a pretty decent job. Great move on their part to mute or black mark someone who cheats. Trade limits are a nice way to keep the game fair for everyone, no more easy money for newcomers or "friends". Your rant would hold more power if it had suggestions. What I see are the dellusions of a whinner who doesn't have a clue why some decisions were made.

I can tell you right away that I would be a very poor mod. I like to give training advices and quest help, but only when the player understands right away. My general response when I get asked question is often to redirect to tip.it's by saying : search the web for a quest guide, or something along those lines. My gameplay is not focused on clans and interactions, a flow of questions would probably make me go mad. There are many more dedicated person who would make better mods, but I would certainly fit the mould of those who wouldn't care about having a crown or not, because it would not change the way I behave in RS.
-
I wanted to reply a couple days ago but I didn't have sufficient time and I wanted to make sure I had read everything so I didn't look like a fool. In light of the recent change from Jagex in their strategy of enlisting pmods, I have to give props to Jr for a couple things. First thing, there is no denying that he hit it scare on the button when he said the selecting process was flawed, as Jagex would not have changed it and, more importantly, made a public statement about it. This means the selecting process was not perfect and Jagex were getting some bad apples. Starting from this, we can't get an accurate % of good mods vs bad mods though. Saying all or the majority of mods are bad is speculation and still generalising from a few cases. I have to say this new policy is something I look forward to, if it can get rid of those mods who got their modship for the crown and status only. Seeing as people like to be recognised and different, you are bound to encounter some pmods with bad attitude (much like in the real world with some police officers or job managers). I'm still not supporting this debate 100%, because the opening post shows an extreme view on the subject, but I have no doubt that these cases happen more often than the community would like.

If the law of supply and demand makes the price go below alch price, it should be allowed to go below the alch price. Otherwise, the result is the item becoming completely unsellable. And how do your prevent RWT then if you can sell drag med for 40K to someone who will alch them for 60K?
-
I agree that getting a 99 is not easy, but in comparison to other skills, fletching is indeed one of the easy 99. Or should I say less time consumming, less clicking and less dangerous.
-
An tiem currently cannot be under 300 gp of its alching price, not 250. Trust me I bought countless dragon meds at 59700 GP. It would not be a very reliable way to RWT, but with over 100 alchable items over 1k, it would be pretty easy to spot one for a quick trade. I know it would not be as fast as before the trade limits, but RWTers would probably do it.

How did your Runescape name "come to be"?
langer replied to Flareboy64's topic in General Discussion
I hope this time around you don't get called a nerd... I remember the last thread you reveal the meaning of your name, some kid had to spoil that. -
Also carry a specing weapon (drag mace is good because of crush, but if you have the means, SGS is the ultimate specing weapon at waterfiends - set on crush obviously)
