A question on the maximum level (and a bit of smugness)
langer replied to ozwald's topic in Help and Advice
you can get all skills at 13 mil xp if you train magic with non combat spells... and ranged at ranged guild mini game... -
garden pie, raises temporarly farming by 3 lvls... look up tip.it's cooking guide to make them
-
i got an average of 190 yews per hour with rune axe at 87 wc, if it can be of any use...
-
from what I've read thoughout this topic is that some people are scared the new Hunting skill will be too similar to slayer or even farming. Some are afraid this skill will be another money drain to control the economy. What I know for sure is that we will have new weapons and equipments and I certainly don't mind a boring skill to have the opportunity to have better equipments...
-
dagganoths are awesome too, but will only be worth if you are a fan of farming... lots of herb seeds... any monster between lvl 50 and your lvl with good drops will get you good xp and loot...
-
ahhh, then go for maples ... on the way to fremenik, there are a dozen trees there. I did a test a while ago and at 88 wc i'd get slighty better xp at maples then willows when burning between loads on the spot.... not banking...
-
willows much faster if you cut yourself
-
i'd say pyramid plunder if you'Re only interested in fast xp without financial gain...
-
i'm 87 fishing, and I still find sharks to be slow xp... I'd suggest you stick to lobbies... and whenever you need sharks... sell your lobbies and buy sharks cooked
-
killed around 850 in tasks so far... got 2 masks... 1 in 500 is probable they have low def, low hp, but they will hit hard
-
first off.... specters, cave horrors, daganoths, nechryeal and elves are all high levels herb seeds droppers this means toadflax seeds and higher.... no ranarrs As for low seeds droppers... (from guam up to torstol) throlls, jogres, ogres, moss giants, hill giants are good droppers... trying to thieve them through master farmer... expect an average of one ranarr per hour , and 1 snap every 3 hours... that's on average in my experience.
-
depends on your lvl.... and your objectives... I always use edgeville dongeon's mine with fire staff to mine and superheat mith and addy bars... I know it's always deserted in members...choose a full world for faster respawn.

I beg you not to train slayer! Another 85 slayer means more whips getting dropped, and also a drop in their market value. You are totally right in thinking that 85 slayer is not worth it anymore! Don't train slayer! I'll take care of those abby demons don't worry. Train something else, but let my precious abby demons alone!

Advice - Best and quickest way to train theiving
langer replied to bandit_loz's topic in Help and Advice
try master farmer in ardougne.... as you get low hp... you can always get cakes bakc from the stalls.. -
it really depends what you are studying... but you wanted advices on how to cope with runescape and school. Here's mine : whenever you have stuff to read for a class... log your character at the fishing guild or at your favorite tree, click and bank...repeat, and read. Whenever you have to analyse or solve math problems... stay off the computer. This helped me get my accounting title and get 90 woodcutting and 87 fishing.... Good luck

calm down people, jagex won't release nature staff or chaos staff BEFORE they even implement a mind staff...

i'm pretty sure this topic will help a lot of people. These boards are used to share informations and tips on runescape. This topic is a good example of what tip.it is all about. Keep up the good work. Btw, at lvl 121 combat, I find myself meleing iron dragons easily with pray pots, anti fire pots, super att and str, black mask and initiate armor.
-
there are a lot of thread a bout taming... or summoning... though also a lot of rants about summoning being part of magic.
-
true, I hadn't thought of that. Well it was one of my best trip to the abby demons in a long time... got my 27th whip and hit over 50 without full dharok.

Anyone else collect random items, or am I just weird?
langer replied to Headnazgul's topic in General Discussion
I guess you can say i collect saphires and emeralds... 1400 saph and 450 emmys... I don't need rings of dueling that much and same goes for games necklaces. -
since the tip it max hit calculator hasn't been updated with the effect of black mask, does anyone know the new max hit of the most used weapons in game? I was just wondering since I happen to 4-hit an abby demon with d mace, full potted and full pray... 42-39-51-19 ... 51! pretty impressive... without berserker ring and with fury on... not ammy of strenght. i used the seach feature by the way, so no noob flaming please.

there was a time when fire giants on baxtorian falls were very crowded just before brimhaven dongeon and slayer was released. Al-kahrid guards are generaly being killed by lower lvls and used to be one of the first and best afk training place.... Magic axe anyone? Rock crabs and bandits have not been in the game for so much time... guards... they used to be a good source of money from lvl 2 clues back when treasure trails were released... so yeah up the charts. Black demons were surprisingly crowded when ranging was the best pking style. Same goes with blue dragons... If someone considers that a noob is a monster.... then i guess a lot of noobs got killed in the history of runescape... I'm pretty sure in 2-3 years... rock crabs, pc monsters, bandits, dagganoths and kalphites will be considered top be top contenders... but they have not been in the game long enough in my opinion.

I see combat as the prime reason to play this game. All other skills are supportive of combat except construction, firemaking and slayer, which is a built-in skill on combat. So that's why I maxed out attack and hp, and am on my way to get 99 def and str uin the next weeks. I need to study a lot for my accounting studies, so i tend to raise a lot of skills with macros-type fonction like fishing, woodcutting, cooking and fletching during the school semesters. That's why i have all these skills in the 85+ range. Thanx to woodcutting and slayer (87 currently), I stacked a lot of herb seeds (350 irit seeds when i started farming) and tree seeds and had a good reason to level up farming up to 79 today. I made a lot of money turning 100 snapdragons seeds into 628 super restore potions. Farming helped me get 74 herblore along the way. All the money i made from herblore and slayer (23 whips so far) helped me get 13,5k drag bones to get me to 87 prayer and 124 combat in the next month. I hate runecrafting, slow xp.... tears of guthix and magic lamps are helping me raise this skill 54 so far. Agility is a msut to do ME part 2, heard you need 66+ to do this quest... 62 accomplished so far... so boring i will get it eventually. Thieving: 68 at the moment, everytime I tele to ardy i steal 1 spice and 1 silver... slow but at least my xp si getting higher. I'll steal some seeds when i'm empty. Crafting, oh I like killling dragons... 80 crafting from hides! always happy to trade glories for d stones. Mining and smithing... really a thrill on F2P , haven't touched these in a long time... 79 mining, 75 smihting (for addy arrow heads...) Firemaking: got enough logs for 84 , 70 at the moment, must really be bored with the game to level up this skill... Construction: very boring to level up.... money drain skill...54 so far, gotta get my altar to use my bones... 23 lvls away from 1800 total.... only one way to go... UP!

what could you consider the top 10 achievements in the game?
langer replied to mrmyk's topic in General Discussion
having every skills ranked 10 000 or better is a great accomplishment in my opinion ( points to a really complete account) Getting 2000 skill total Getting 99 farming without ever buying tree seeds... -
i'd say you have more chance of cutting alone at stronghold then at either ranging guild or legend's.... just my 2 cents
