What publicly elected official wants to be know as the guy who voted against a bill protecting children from sexual abuse? I know the actual legislation is a steaming pile of doody but these are politicians remember.

Umm.. Ipods are MP3 players.. I'm a bigger fan of Ipods because I've always liked how they looked compared to others.. Man it really gets my goat when people think there different. For 20+ GB players I would probaby get an Ipod. The nanos however are not a very good buy a 4 GB is $200 I think? For the same price you can get twice the storage, a voice recorder, FM radio, and an FM radio recorder when you buy a Zen Micro. I may be a little fanoyish but I really do think there better mp3 players. If you read the post, deloria never claimed to have been a fan because it makes him/her different... just because they like the looks.... I qouted her post "Umm.. Ipods are MP3 players.. " and I just had to throw in a little blurb about Zen's. Sorry for the confusion. :)

As the proud user of the pirate signiture I really must say that Mr. Vievle's art makes me happy late at night. In the that certain sort of way. :-$

First off let me say my father isn't abusive, he does love me, and he is a great guy but these stories may lead you to believe otherwise. :P The first time I was wrestling with my dad on the floor and I had a loose tooth, I was running around him and he grabbed my ankle. My knee flew up into my mouth and the loose tooth got imbedded in my knee. My grandparents (on my mom's side) were visting from out of state and on their first night there grandson runs in with a blood mouth, crying, and holding his tooth. Poor grandparents. :oops: The second funny tooth loss story happened when I was young and had a loose tooth just like the last story. I wanted to play catch with my dad and he was practicing chipping (golf) in the backyard. We decieded to kill 2 birds with one stone and have me catch the golf balls he was chipping. It was just like catching a pop fly, unfortunetly at that tender young age I wasn't very good at catching pop flys. The golf ball hit me in the mouth and knocked out a tooth. :cry:

Well thank you for this. I am not a Christian and I doubt I will ever convert. However one of my favorite things to do is learn more about Christianity and other religions. I'm glad there are people like you who are willing to discuss religion with an open mind and not try and shove it down other people's throats. So thank you for being willing to discussion. The world needs more people like you! :D

That was one of the best books I've ever read! A few others were Lamb, Ender's Game, and Fallen Angles.

I havn't yet made the jump to college but I might be able to give you a few tips on transportation. Bikes are a great way to get around. I would suggest a mountain bikes even if you just use it for getting around. Road bikes despite being alot of fun look a little dorky :oops:. Another helpful thing I've noticed on a few campus tours is that somtimes the campus police will provide an escort service after it gets dark. Some schools had programs so you could just call a officer and get a ride and others have programs were the police car comes to a certain place on campus ever hour or so. Look into that as walking at night can be cold, dangerous, and scary! :P Good luck on college Jak!

I went to see Ice Age 2 last night and they had a trailer for the Simpsons movie. Homar seemed pretty surprised to find they were making one :P Btw Ice Age 2 is a fantastic movie :o

Ok thanks for all the tips! As for the gutar I got a cheap little electric one, I figured I probably shouldn't spend awhole lot of money untill I'm sure I'll use it for a few years. I'll get started with some of the tips :D
