If you were internet smart you wouldn't get keylogged. The best key is prevention. Overall fact is you shouldn't be playing games at school you are there to learn. Only play on your own system it is alot safer that way. If you can't go a few hours without playing Runescape you may need to speak to someone about the addiction as it could end up affecting your studies. I'm sorry you were keylogged but as much as it pains me, there is no one to blame but yourself. I wish you the best of luck in getting back on your feet and hope you stick to playing on your own computer in the future.

Hopefully you'll learn that scamming is against the rules, first offense or not. Jagex don't want scammers in the community.

This whole event was just a bit of fun. Tip it won so i don't see a problem. There is great chance the people ganging up on you all were actually a clan who just happened to have the same cape. Welcome to the world of clanning. There will always be someone trying to say you won unfairly. But it doesn't mean you shouldn't bother in the future.

The problem is players were nagging for something to happen. Now that Jagex are finally doing something players don't like it. It really is a lose - lose situation for Jagex. No matter what they do it never is good enough. People forget staking was one of the more common ways to trade large amounts of cash without getting noticed. What people forget is that while Jagex changed normal staking they incorporated a tournament where you can win millions. If people were as good as they say they are they'd be able to win the tournaments. Maybe its just me, but i don't see these things as ruined. I see them as improved.

Empty your ignore list once a week. You more than likely wont see those people again and then its not cluttered with people your not even sure who they are.

I think the easiest and cost efficient way of eradicating macroers would be for the players to step up and look at their own behavior. Stop buying Runescape GOLD for Real World Money. Your problem will be solved because then they have no use for the materials they are gathering. But maybe thats just me.

This is why i've gotten in the habit of going between. It's alot easier. But for all your items to go up is odd. Maybe jagex put that price thread on the RSOF into action perhaps?

Good idea, maybe you should do a well thought out suggestion thread with diagrams and everything. Might get alot of support that way.

Please keep on topic everyone. :P I don't think eliminating Real World Trading will ruin runescape. Nor do i thinking planning a boycott will give you what you want. Just remember this may be one part to a bigger plan that you just need to wait to be fulfilled. I myself like the fact that everyone will be able to level the same way without an outside benefit.

I wouldn't quit, but i would hate to think that someones economical status outside of the game would benefit them in the game. I like the fact that in runescape you all come together and play from the same point. It gives us all a common ground.

That's stupid because you can ban a level 3 character with high wc IF it's a macroer. Except everyone just assumes they are a macroer. They don't investigate the situation properly. Not to mention at least 3/4 of the people who report people for macroing don't even understand how to identify a macroer.

While i agree it is frustrating this update was put in to stop people trading between their accounts. I don't think it should be removed. Having said that i think being able to construct a party room in a player owned house with a party box and lever just like at party petes would be a good addition to construction.

You can get a widget that is a notepad that you can have at the side of your computer screen. Or you can use notepad. But i think its more efficient with a notepad document than an in game feature that would more than likely be erased when you log out anyways.

You cannot post here and only except biased opinions. When you post you are opening to all opinions good and bad. I don't support. Why? Because i think the 5% is more than leniant. What i would like to see is remove the Less than 5% feature and keep the more than 5% feature.

I don't think there's a high enough market for it. But it can sell for 1k each (not sure on prices since the GE was implemented though) I can get at least 700 an hour if i teleport to my house (where i have an alter and a canfis portal)

The age of 13 is the advised age to start playing. With parental permission they are allowed to play at any age. Admittedly alot do lie about their age. But you can't prevent that. It's not just "young" players bypassing the censor. Alot of older players do it too. No offence but just because you hit the magical age of 13 doesn't give you the right to sit around and spout of obscenities just for the sake of it. I don't care if your 16, 45, or 8 there is NO excuse for swearing. Learn to construct a proper sentence for once. No one likes to here profanity every second word of a sentence. The fact that parents are concerned over the language is because they have some maturity and realize using profanity 24/7 does not make you a respectable person. So please, just either don't play or ignore them. Everyone has as much right to play in a safer environment. If you don't like it don't play. You sit here pointing out flaws when you've probably been playing since you were under the age anyways. Just from your post, i can proudly say I've met 8 years who have more sense than you.
