Who are you to state that these people don't have experience? Age means nothing, you can be 5 and have experienced alot more than someone of the age of 30. I would not want an 8 year old to be on the same level os consciousness because that would be a downgrade in most cases. All i was saying was that I've met some 8 year olds who are better behaved than alot of teenagers.

In all honesty, I've met some 8 year olds in this game who have more maturity than majority of the teenagers themselves. I think it's fine they play if they are mature enough to handle it. As for the parents, they are protective of children they just want to bring them up right. The point is you don't need to spout off profanity as every second word you say. It's not cool and it's not nice. The fact is, teenagers eventually graduate and go to college/university. Then time is up as most stop playing the game. Whereas children still have a good 10 years on them to play. It's more money. Children will not get those references alot of the time. It'll just be a swing and a miss.

30k xp is alot more than people give credit for, you can do hundreds of requests so its still very reasonable.

There is a public bot out now like the old [Caution] that people use to do anything and just keep the items rather then sell, so their would still be millions of bots even without the gold market. I understand that, but there would not be as many as the ones who sell for gp to sell for real life cash.

I guess you are right, however with the risk involved previously there was still encouragement to do things yourself safely. Now that is gone. I like the fact i can help others out, but i do think each player should only be able to request assistant so many times in a 24 hour period.

I think what needs to be addressed is that people automatically blame autoers. Yes they may be breaking the rules, but if it wasn't for the player who wanted to buy those servies (items/cash) with RL money then the autoers wouldn't have any business. I don't support autoing, but having said that i don't care whether they are here or not. They don't affect my game play at all.

agility cant be used or they would scale the fally broken wall into taverly. the f2p's would invade us! They could just make it unusable. Like the gate to Taverly. People would complain about the fact they've trained this skill only to not use it. Not to mention I am almost positive there aren't any agility training places in the F2P map. Correct me if im wrong.

This is the debate forum can you post a more constructive contribution to the topic so we can debate over this?

The only thing I'm a bit odd about is the fact this will not encourage people to level the skills themselves. They will just focus on using other players to get things done. What happened to being self sufficient?

This is what i don't understand. When i was F2P i ALWAYS had enough space. You can have plenty of space on F2P if you don't pick up everything and put it in your bank. Although i do think this would be handy, i think it would make leveling construction in P2P for the costume room would be extremely useless and defeat the purpose. What i think might be a bit more beneficial is being able to box the items up into one space. You could buy a box from the clothes shop in Varrock or something. A box for each outfit.

No support. The fact is it is against Jagex's rules to use any form of "auto" talkers/typers etc. They are all classified as macroing and this will not get implemented unless that rule is taken out. Even then, if people get viruses from downloading such programs it is pure karma as they are breaking rules. I can see this getting abused and merely causing more problems that solutions. Besides with this new auction house coming up i don't think this would be required as much anymore.

They will be used in the wrong context and be classified as profanity. Thus it is better if they remain censored. You can't even say 'Shaz' in game without it being censored. But i learnt to get over it.

Agreed. It's easier to construct a sentence without profanity. Considering for you to type any form of profanity you need your brain to send a message to your hands there is plenty of time to think over what your saying. There is no excuse for "letting it slip" you know the rules and should think about what your saying before you do.

But will they? You're the only mod I really see on this forum a lot, to be honest. The others, I suppose, know it doesn't get much traffic and that it doesn't need them. But after being moved out, we might need a few more focused mods. Even just one or two would be helpful. After all, all the other forums have four, five, six mods working on them. Mod trainees will be coming soon I am sure. There will be a couple for this forum I bet. Atleast one, which is all it needs. If the traffic increases IF it gets moved to the forum index, then we will add more mods as needed. I offer my full support in that case. On one condition; that there is a higher standard of posting topics and replies to that particular forum so it doesn't turn into rants. :)

I kind of like the fact only selected people post on these topics. I'm afraid if it gets moved to a forum of its own it will get turned into Rants Version 2. I agree with klankaos about everything. Maybe a few extra moderators to take care of the forums. With the debate standard make it a requirement that your responses need to be more than 5 words or something. So that people are constructive with their views and actually "debate".

Tell me who in their right mind is stupid enough to pay so much money for something that's so useless? That money could be better spent elsewhere. Crackers should be changed so they can no longer be cracked, its only fair to stop the market in fluctuating.

The problem with merchanting is that real players sit there and gather the resources for products to sell. Merchanters sit there and buy or such low prices players drop their prices and lose well earnt money just to sell to the merchanters. Admittedly they do not need to sell for those prices but when you have 15 people buying the same product for roughly the same price ofcourse they are going to sell. The fact is, majority of Merchanters don't make their money using their ingame skills. They sit around usually with an auto typing program and stand in world 2 spamming like crazy. Not to mention, these merchanters who have next to no statistics. How do they make the money to begin with?

I consider a skiller to be someone who trains everything. Not just a few stats. They are all Skills. Thus should all be trained.

Problem is, that skill will become monotonous after a while and you can't keep giving them something to break the monotony. Eventually everything will be F2P and alot of the skills require opening up new members only areas.

Try to keep on topic guys, we don't want the topic locked. I think your friend may have gotten a little bit lucky thats all. However you should probably contact customer support about an employee not following the procedure for ban appeals as well. In the long run it isn't fair.

Remember though with that particular glitch people were told to log off, in not doing so they revoked their right as innocents. Sorry but if you are told to log off/hop worlds or leave a certain area where there is a glitch and you don't it IS your fault. As you mentioned the scamming thing i think its wrong. You could also think of the following scenario: Player X scams Player Y out of alot of money and items (such as party hat and things) a week or so later Player X dies to glitch and sends in to get his items back. Where's the fairness in that? Player Y may not have been able to report Player X in time, and Player X gets items back. Not to mention the games where this work are strictly P2P and have a higher maturity level when it comes to issues. That and it would make danger obsolete in the game. I'm not sure it could be implemented beneficially to the game. I think no matter what it would get abused. Not to mention the extra money it would take for the customer support etc to cover it.
