People in all religions need to realise (as I do) that the texts they read were written by humans and need to be applied to modern eras as best they can - an ancient guidebook of morals as it were which must be read carefully to be applicable to the present day. I do realize that, I'm arguing with the law; she broke the law, fine, I know that, I accept that. I'm arguing to which degree the ridiculousness of this particular case applies to the law. I believe this application of the law resulting in arrest was unfair and ridiculous. Thanks to the constitution, this lady will get a lawyer and get set free. Anyway, by law, it's her supervisors fault. I do, however, think that the supervisor should be reprimanded, because she did not order the food to be thrown out. To be fair, you weren't one of the people I was referring to :lol: . It shouldn't be of any concern though - people being convicted for this kind of thing would worry me. Any sensible legal system would free the defendant and (hopefully) reprimand the pedant of a police officer and incompetent supervisor.

I live in England, can I stop caring already? In my opinion minutes silences should only be given to truly massive, world changing events such as WWI, WWII and similar occasions - they should not be given to every minor attack (and yes it was a minor attack and death toll - whatever overinflated Americans may say). I am not saying that these attacks are not to be regretted or mourned but to attach a silence to them would diminish its impact for the truly deserving dates as detailed above.

On this whole topic of meat, anyone had a bison burger? Those things are glorious beyond belief.

The huge amount of grammatical errors in there make it clears its a scam - if he really was part of the "Queen's counsel" (pretty much the elite of English law) or even just a barrister the guy would be able to spell correctly. Anyone who took up this scam I'd have no sympathy for, they would be in affect trying to claim a dead person's money they had no right to.

I have yet to see anyone cane Nessun Dorma like he did. Really is a shame.
