  1. yes I was talking about the rune c'bow but thanks to the guy who talked about the bone cbow (I was wondering about that too!) It seems mith bolts are the favourite - I presume that means the unenchanted version - would it be advantageous to use the enchanted version? What are the pearl (e) bolts and how effective are they? Sorry about all this, uni has destroyed everything I knew about RS
  2. So, I need a prayer level, gona kill blue dragons etc etc. Question is - I hear good things about a rune crossbow - is it better than crystal bow (what I usually use), what bolts should I use, are there any good guides on the topic? Thanks to all who help in advance.
  3. Wait, so you can't actually read your OWN laws? Pretty serious contradiction with the rule of law there, that is one seriously fudged up system #-o .
  4. Thats for a judge to decide. There is no exact definition. A nude picture is not necceserily illegal and there are plenty of 100% legal nude art books available, even in the united states, that depict people of all ages, equally a fully clothed image could be defined as erotic and pornographic and thus be considered illegal. Well usually in UK statute any words that are key to the meaning of the law are defined separately (sometimes even satisfactorily!) and I'm wondering if the US system does a similar thing. If they don't and it is indeed up to the discretion of the judge then there are some serious and obvious flaws here.
  5. Is there a place the public can access the US equivalent of statute? I want to read the exact wording of what kind of image is illegal - as far as I'm concerned that is what this hinges on.
  6. Hartlar! I'm back from uni and completely confused with RS now :x. I can't even remember how to do barrows properly :uhh: . I may have to tag along/be taught about these king, if that's ok by you. Nice to see the goals coming along so well.
  7. Player Mods = people (and all the good and bad things that can go along with that) Surely that's all there is to it?
  8. Only a couple, but it seems tip.it has forgotten some of the few who have given them the most. Slayer - Axemanjack - for not only being an awesome slayer but writing the most comprehensive slayer guide in the world, ever. Barrows - Leesters - it has to go to him, once again he has helped numerous tip.iters with his high quality guides and massive success (as well as variety of methods) Both of these guys pretty much taught me how to do these things effectively, and I expect I'm not the only one.
  9. Well, I went to the last two, so why not the third :D Maybe I can hit 100 cb before......
  10. In emergency situations creative folding can make a single pair of boxers last 4 days . Also, it is perfectly possible to open walnuts with your bare hands - its all the technique
  11. I'm pretty sure they haven't put in level brackets - its still off duel tournament ranking I *think* - its more to do with the amount of players needed but I'm not entirely sure as I haven't tested it yet. P.S. emofury - you may want to calm down on the flaming/spam/double/triple posting - you will not make friends if you continue in such a way, this is not RSC or RuneHQ
  12. Come on, It has to be hammer time OT - I'm not sure if this was deserving of a thread - but from the people who use the the tournaments a lot it seems to have had a good reception.
  13. HA! Chaos Elemental fails at sudoku, two death runes in the middle box
  14. Nick was trialed for the "incitement of racial hatred", a law that doesn't apply to the modern BNP's beliefs, and came off innocent in 2006 . . http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bradford/6135060.stm And i can assure you that if there was even a hint that he was infact inciting racial hatred he would have gone down for it. Take Nick to court if you really think hes inciting racial hatred, because it would be profitable for the BNP's cause to prove wrong again. I warn you, don't argue law with - I just spent 8 weeks being tutored by some of the finest constitutional lawyers in the world - the difference in scope between a breach of UK criminal statute and the constitutional theories of rule of law and fundamental human rights is massive. This is not about being taken to court or being charged, this is about legalistic and socio-political theory, please learn the difference. Why don't people like you, instead of trying to take away legitimate political parties like the BNP's speech challenge them and win if you're in the right. The BNP are crying about this? nah, its those who throw their toys out of the pram when people like Nick don't see things in the brainwashed PC way, that the mass media inprint on peoples minds. I don't need to challenge them and win, the major political parties are doing that just fine at the moment - the simple fact the BNP was, is and will always be a minority party voted for by the brainwashed, uneducated and easily swayed is a testament to our system and population. Also, I do intend a career in either law or politics - I'm sure i'll come across them either way. Everything else Ginger Warrior dealt with just fine for now - I may have put some things slightly differently, but I won't for the sake of clarity (always getting there first Ginger, honestly  ).
  15. Oh deary deary me, seems we aren't just prejudiced against races now are we - social classes as well? FYI Oxford is nothing like the stereotype. You heard wrong. Trust me on this. I wonder what the BNP's view on the right to free speech of say an Islamic fundamentalist would be? I'll let you answer that one I'm sorry, that's a pretty staunch belief to suddenly change from (and I quote) "I have reached the conclusion that the 'extermination' tale is a mixture of Allied wartime propaganda, extremely profitable lie, and latter witch-hysteria" to, "oh sorry, I was wrong, oops!". I want a bit more proof then that before I believe this particularly shady leopard has changed his spots. The far left caused problems? Proof? Evidence? Any basis whatsoever? Well I live in this city, I watch my local news everyday, I read the local and university papers - hell I was at the protest and there was no left wing violence whatsoever. Finally, I'd like to show you exactly where, legally the right to freedom of speech comes from - the ECHR - Article 10 if you want the exact reference. Now, guess what else we have in that document, I'll tell you - Article 14 - Prohibition of Discrimination. Now you can waffle for as long as you like about how the BNP isn't racist because is doesn't "hate" it just "recognises differences" - well I've got news, discrimination doesn't mean hate - it means to believe in fundamental differences in people because of their origin/religion/gender/orientation - a clear breach no? The BNP crying about unqualified free speech when their main policies go against the same document that it stems from is obvious hypocrisy. I don't think I need to say anymore. P.S. before you accuse me of being liberal, left wing, PC or otherwise then let me assure you there are plenty of people on this board that will testify otherwise (especially GingerWarrior - the number of socialist/non socialist arguments woo  ). Let it be known that it is not only the political left that disagree.
  16. Ha! Lou is dead and gone. Through the Fire - awesome song Won't type anymore - hand hurting too much :XD:
  17. Battling Lou on Hard makes me want to die Or possibly kill, I'm undecided. What I do know is I played welcome to the jungle in my university halls so loud the windows shook and the dean complained
  18. I did at levels slightly below yours but my god it took everything - super set, torags, the whole deal. Once you get the first guy though you're past the hard bit - just keep on trying! Its a good quest on a side note isn't it?
  19. Whoever wrote this hasn't got the foggiest how English law works unfortunately. 1) Jagex has a near watertight disclaimer - that is more than enough to protect it - you forget that Jagex is a incredibly rich company, more than capable of hiring top lawyers. 2) The simple fact is the logic doesn't follow - trying to sue Jagex because people lost money in it would be like credit card companies trying to sue casinos when their customers lose money, it just doesn't work like that. 3) There is one HELL of a jump from "people buy gold" -> "people are usually 12-17" -> this gold is usually bought with a fraudulent credit card. That is one hell of an assumption to make - I had a internet-viable card from 14 which I could have used I assume, such a huge leap in reasoning cannot be made without evidential basis. Sorry, but the theory is incorrect.
  20. This is an issue especially close to my heart (hell, its my union) so I intend to make a half decent post on this (after the college Christmas Dinner). Let it be known that I was at the protest and a good couple of my friends even got on the news  EDIT -Barihawk I've spent the last week reading the human Rights Act and freedom of expression laws, I'll elaborate for you later as well.
  21. Some of the economic viewpoints and theories in this thread are making Duke Freedom cry - cut it out.

Wrong. The following statement is true - I am currently typing on my laptop - please disprove this is true So you live separately from society then, if not, woop woop hypocrisy Your internet connection is a necessary means to survive then? Presumably you live in a tree and eat what you find in the street? You can survive that way right? Wrong, you can be both alive and dying at the same time, if you weren't alive, how could you be dying? Transfer of states buddy, transfer of states. lawnmower, moose, strawberry, washing basket, guitar. Oh sorry I thought we were playing "incoherency" Nope Sometimes people do know what's better for other people - doctors ring a bell? oh no, stop, stop, the precious genes will be lost Man I was NOT in the mood for having my time wasted with poorly written musings about not very much in particular.
  23. Asylum seekers have no business being in Britain, there are plenty of perfectly good countries for them to go to in order to get away from a violent and oppressive native country. Don't be daft, if every country adopted this attitude then they wouldn't have anywhere to go - any person who would decline a person safety from torture, rape and death is less than human in my book. Meh, if you prevent cheap labour coming into this country then all the big companies will do is outsource to foreign countries anyway No problems here, illegal immigrants are bad, fair enough you REALLY need to start backing up your sources - that's a pretty outlandish claim. Either way its an Ad hominem argument and therefore pointless. For those interested there's a debate at the Oxford Union involving Griffin (as well as his good friend, holocaust denier David Irving) where he will probably get shown up - will report back later.
  24. current population density of the UK = 246 pop/km2 projected population density if pop. rises to 90m = 370 pop/km2 considering South Korea is managing to support a population density of 480 just fine, as is the Netherlands at 392, as is Gibraltar at a staggering 1,272, I don't think we have an issue just yet.
  25. Well I'll be damned, I never thought I'd see the day - this could be a great development. What's the odds on it coming out the week I go back to university.
