Help a NOOB
Same thing happened to me, just go back down and don't move, go all the way through glough's speech and keep still until you see the demon. Then and only then run like a madman for the safespot

The Challenge -- Edit added to original post.
Just out of concern, would you say I'm forcing opinions down others throats? Or were you refering to someone else/some other people? I'm pretty certain he's referring to the fundamentalists with very little understanding of the religion they preach - from my religious point of view you are most definitely not trying to rubbish faith or force opinions, which is why I continue to post on this topic :).

The fundamentalists have an amazing ability to ignore that which doesn't fit into their world view my friend. But I like a non-religious person putting forward their view without forcing it as some do so free bump I suppose :)

Teen Technology
All those things you mentioned could be done in seconds with the use of a phone. And internets cost money just like a phone does. I use Bebo for one single reason - pictures. When me and my friends go out on a night say one person takes pictures - he uploads them to his pc - puts them on his/her bebo and we can all take from there. If we were to get them developed one set per person it would cost a ton, and to send them all via MSN would take stupidly long. Then as im going I leave a small but witty comment on the way out :D. That and i do qualify as intelligent without being arrogant thank you

Wait what? Knowing English isnt required to be a US citizen?
No. We speak American. No, you speak Americanized English, don't try and pretend otherwise. As for the religion/language analogy, very few people kill each other over the spelling of onomatopoeia or the correct usage of there. Not going to comment on the US topic as I have no idea of the legal issues (I unlike some don't comment on things I don't know about). Just correcting some errors :P

Is this even possible? Amazing car defense system

I am a little confused about something.......
If you had two accounts logged in at the same time you would be technically AFK training one of them anyway - unless you had some kind of scary nerdy dual pc thingie - also illegal

Yes as i remember it the Darwin Finch has a great amount of variation within its species: beak size, wing span etc and as the conditions in which they live change (being isolated on a small island) the mix can change vastly. One year small beak/small wing may be abundant, but within less than a decade almost unseen. Then becoming more common in later years.

Last System Update?

Right a few things to comment on and ask about but I cant remember how to do multiple quotes  . Bluelancer: This microevolution is this similar to Darwin's Finches? If so i think I understand. Eels: Very few take the bible literally and exactly word for word anymore - it is after all an archaic and ancient text - (except for those pesky evangelists eh :P ) - my view is a lot more metaphorical - it does not mean (to me at least) we were created in his physical image, but rather given his qualities of love, care, pity and a multitude of others. I may of course be wrong, there are hundreds of interpretations of the Bible and I am no means an expert.

question about magic planner/calc
Wrong, you get 2 mage exp per damage hit, and 1.33 hp exp. This guy is right, taking your example of 2 spells, one hitting 0 and one hitting 5 Spell one = base xp + 0 = B+0 spell two = base xp + 2xdamage = B + 2D (this is just for mage) hitpoints being another 1.33xD on top

So about this 'Desert Treasure'
Yes you can do it, I did it a few weeks back with lower stats than yours, and used mage pots to reach the correct fire spell :-$ Good Luck! (the most irritating part for me was the lockpick/pyramid, damn things)

Slight mistake there, that which remains not dis-proven is a hypothesis, that which is proven is a theory. Anybody read the science of discworld 3? Anyone familiar with the discworld series would enjoy it as would anyone interested in the creationism/evolution argument it does have serious science in there.

Yeah, I don't know about protestants, methodist or any other christian denominations, but the catholic church has acknowledged the factual accuracy of evolution a long time ago. Then again, I suppose most christians on tip.it aren't catholic then. The majority of Protestants believe in evolution as well, we simply see it as God's way of getting things done. Unfortunately the flamy flamers represent a small proportion of us, as with all things the smallest shout loudest. On-Topic - I have a small problem with your standing (nothing to do with your religion-based topic) but with your idea "until you can prove this wrong, it must be right". There are two definitions of correct - that which is proven, and that which is not dis-proven. By the same token anyone could post a topic based on the existence of anything be it God, Ghosts or a small purple dwarf called Colin - until it is disproven it must exist by your thinking yes? I think that's coherent, but I've just got back so it might have holes please discuss.

12 February 2007 - A sq'irk a day... Next
oh, and who forced you to play? It' s really fortunate that we get updates at all pretty much. It's getting annoying how players are just being really spoiled lately. :? Sorry about this, nothing personal but its just a comment that i've been meaning to make and i've seen lately. Stop giving them your money then? Don't moan if you aren't going to have the spine to act on it, practice what you preach pl0x? I quite agree dalcyte, I've always been quite positive about the community but I'm slowly beginning to become embittered and generally angered by the amount of whiny children.

Seems to me those training Thieving now have a choice between the free but slightly slower Sorceress garden and the faster if more expensive (in terms of anti poisons and food) Pyramid plunder. Overall i like it, its a bit of fun with some half decent rewards. (most of the people i've seen in game that say it sucks are the ones who cant do it  )

Global Warming
Well done that poster for exposing the flaws of correlational arguments. Also as to the whole snow melting/water vapour/CO2 debacle we seem to be focusing on CO2 as the only greenhouse gas - methane, sulpherous gases and indeed water vapour all have a similar effect.
