Dungeoneering - The nerf of "Rushing"
i really like the complex 1-3 method 5:5 smalls u find a team they stay for 3 floors and it takes way longer to reset for ur 30-35 floors and it is good to do larges for 25-29 as well... avg exp/hr really depends on how easy it is to find a team as if u need to shout 5 mins every 3 floors its different than just getting those low floors done on complex 1 and 5:5 SMALLS HAVE BAD TEAMS

Why Prestige?
well high lvl dungeoneers can play with low dungeoneers w/ the prestige w/o losing exp because if they did say 1-10 with a nub dungeoneer and didnt have those theyd get better exp for those floors instead of only being forced to do 35 with higher dungeoneers. but with batch 2 it will become more apparerent because people looking for teams would have such a narrow level area to look for for max exp. i'm 91 dungeoneering if thier was no prestige i could only group with 91-92 dungeoneers because 93 dungeoneers would be a floor above me and 90 dungeoneers could not do my highest floor. Yes dungeoneering is repetetive liek all other skills......i fought all the bosses a billion times.....but most of the time we try and get the low floors done as fast as possible and then do the high floors for max expirience too.. Jagex did want this skill to be a hard skill thats why thhey made the level cap go to 120 but when more floors get released, probably kinda late.............the expirience will increase dramatically over all floors not just our highest.....

02-Jun-2010 - Video Q&A: RuneScape Content Team
yeh im disapointed by dungeoneering 2 prob being far far from now but then if they release it soon and not awesome people will get disappointed i just want the extra exp tbh.. i think maybe they could reallly milk dungeon if they added 3-4 floors a week lol then every week they could have people lvling for new floors and also they can take their time making them awesome ssame time

The death of dungeoneering?
sucks when u have a mom taking u off the comp -.- otherwise if ur alone its fine and easy. I don't have that problem since I have my own computer, but that wasn't even the point I was trying to make anyways. What I was saying was that dungeoneering FORCES you to play for long periods of time (to my experience dungeons take at least 20 minutes if not more for very little xp at a time), whereas most other skills you can just log on play for however long you want to play and log out. i have my own comp too lol.......but still if people in family talking to me. cant just log off especcially during larges. You have to make sure u have enough time and cannot multitask while training to full efficiency for instance and an hr or more for a large with avarage teams. and with a good team you need to be even more active for a 50 or less min map

Dungeoneering: Beyond the Release
mediums 2:1 take 15-20minutes with one person running keys other person getting +10 mod and then soloing boss when found. they give around 7k exp on floor 10 and 9k exp on floor 18. they arent food for exp/hr but are good if u really want to do them. i got 18k exp on a 5:5 floor 24 med tho so i think if u can find a team that is efficient with meds it would be good for mid 20s lol.

Dungeoneering Leeching verse Dieing
But still, dying makes you respawn back at the smuggler's room, which can be quite frustrating in large dungeons (especially with no gatestone). And sometimes there are things like monolith rooms and the rock maze. Also, very tough bosses (500+) are bound to kill you. hit by falling rocks, lever room when someone lags, its reduculous those things can zap half ur hp....most bosses arent too hard with proper food/gatestones...

Dungeoneering: Beyond the Release
do you skip any puzzles or do you skip 100+ doors while soloing? or skip absolutly nothing? =p

The death of dungeoneering?
dungeoneering is much much better w/ friends also friends are less likely to get mad at you if you make a mistake or are the uber nub of the party. in 117 you just gotta kinda deal with everything....

Dungeoneering Leeching verse Dieing
As you probably know when dungeoneering it is a 14% loss for each death that happens..........Even the best of players die from crazy rooms like monolith rooms or rooms with 133 shades/forgottenmages/and skeletons at the same time or getting owned by shadowforger or a different boss. However thier is currently no exp penalty for leeching so a player could stand around doing nothing for most of the dungeon however have 0 deaths and thierfore get better expirience than a key runner that died once. and 14% on a 5:5 large dungeon is the difference between 48k exp and 53k+ exp....... If a player has died during a dungeon they are less likely to take risk such they may not attempt to fight the boss or attempt to help clear certain rooms and just let other people do it for them. If the deaths add up 3 or 4 then the expirience/hr is pathetic for all the time spent in the dungeon..... the penalty starts to curve around 8 deaths its 79% and apparently it doesnt get higher ....82% for 16 deaths according to a dungeoneer that died on purpose to see.. Shouldnt the death penalty go higher for more deaths ????? and start out much lower for the deaths that are bound to happen *accidently walking in a dragon room* *lagging on lexus book barrage attack* if the first death was 1% 2nd death around 5% and 3rd death was 7% and then 10% after it would make dungeon a bit less annoying and have better avarage expirience rates.... ITs not that hard to be a survivor in a 5:5 large but not doing anything person shouldnt get more expirience than someone that tried the whole way through the dungeon but maybe didnt have enough prayer.. Maybe they could punish inactivity with deaths somehow if inactive 5mins+ doing nothing? Discuss.

The death of dungeoneering?
Pissing people off by wasting their time is not funny. I wholeheartedly disagree. Some people get stressed out way too easily and take trivial things way too seriously. You gotta treat others with respect first if you want respect in return. When I get stuck with people who freak out if you make a minor "inefficient" mistake, that's generally my cue to start lightening things up a bit ;) I don't expect anyone to agree with how I act in these situations, but just remember that this is a GAME and the point of a game is to have FUN, which I'm doing. Due to the fact that the team leaders I get stuck with are usually stressed-out and pissed off from the start of the dungeon, I find it safe to assume that they weren't gonna be having too much fun regardless if I'd ever joined or not. Sometimes people just need to take a break, relax, and laugh at the situation. If I were being the team leader and one of my teammates started messing around and teasing me, I'd probably laugh and find it pretty funny. It's a shame that a lot of these guys are uptight and lack a good sense of humor :( Oh well, their loss, I guess. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some dungeoneering to take care of. . . i prefer efficiency freaks leaders to the Uh idk what we are doing leaders.............but anyway usually if u wake the ferret or the guards its "oops" if u lag during levers or mime its a 'my bad" unnless its happening constantly it doesnt hurt too much...If its a rush it has to be clear that its a rush though and keyholder/team has to know the plan. i found lately people are more relaxed and not really careing about exp now that most people have thier weapons so your not really messing anyone up but if you find a leader that is giving orders where to go ect....than u should accually pay attention to them because that dungeon is probably going to be finished in a reasonable amount of time

Dungeoneering: Beyond the Release
It would be great if we could find somebody to team with while already in the dungeon...if someone leaves this would be useful especcially on 5:5 smalls where people leave all the time its a pain to recruit people again....Maybe people can post somewhere what floors they need and then we could invite them while inside the dungeon...This would also allow for people to accually get kicked from a team instead of having to put up with them. A reputation thing would be cool but kinda cruel. You could flag someone as a good player or a leecher or something.... About soloing thiers alot of variance you can get lucky and not have many puzzles and not have any 100+ doors and have easy boss or u can get a solo w/ 2 mazes and a barrel room..... idk if you shuld just skip 100+ doors in solo if dont have a herb might be the thing to do...overall. I prefer teaming so avoid solo as much as possible.. also 90 minute 5:5 larges are not as uncommon as you guys think nowdays in 117 even with other maxed players if we arent rushing the dungeon it usually takes 75-90 mins...... 30-45 minute dungeons are possible but you need to have an expert keyholder and a group that is willing to do what the leader says.

The death of dungeoneering?
F19- 13:39 maze, fished some morays F20-15:33 stomp boss is lame solos have some variance and thiers things that can slow u down.....but otherwise they shouldnt take more than 20 mins if u are rushing and im sure if i spent a day soloing id be pro at it.
