  1. How does Zarfot train slayer? According to runetracker het got the following xp yesterday: Attack +127k Defence +267k Strength +451k Constitution +371k Ranged +691k Magic +2k Slayer +1m Assuming he did tasks, the combat xp he got is right and his range xp is from cannoning, he would have gained only 681k/2+371k*(3/4) = 619k xp. Tasks are faster than SW right? Looking at his adventurers log I'd say he also used a ****load of effigies. Effigies don't give slayer xp. The end lamps can be used on slayer exp. Ah right, I forgot that. Those effigies give a huge amount xp btw, almost doubles his slayer xp/hr + xp in other skills. Zarfot should be happy he has a relatively low amount of slayer xp (and also doesn't have 200M in both skills of an effigy combination, e.g. aasiwat got fm/cook both at 200M xp). he seems lucky with effigies......and yah firemaking + cook 200m = wasted exp
  2. I was wondering the same thing about the 'maxed out'-forums... It seemed reachable one day with all 99's, not so with 120 dungeoneering :razz: Nice list, good read. Ivy seems to have ruined woodcutting cape. its 99 but jagex is lazy and hasnt invited alot of people including me :(( and people that arent 99 dungeon get to still stay if they maxed b4 dungeoneering... dont know how long they will leave it 99 but it is 99 for now cuz people have been invited after april 12th.
  3. dont do it so much at tzaar but sometimes when they are my task lol lots of low levels thier tho ranging.....sometimes i steal 2-5 kills to get more spawns if they hop... try it alot at firegiants cuz they slow me down thier.... black demons, nech, dusties, ill just hop and kuradel is single combat =o

    i agree with this sorta but coombat lvl is the only thing we have to go by sometimes...and sometimes i give low levells a chance by looking at thier dungeoneering lvl and then they complain "omg why we rushing" =p anyway generally 130+ with low dg are worse in pty than 120-129 with high dg and low combat only doesnt matter if they are keying for me skills dont matter because im 99 all ;o......cept maybe herblore/farm because I dont like making pots

    training for exp is a bit less stressful than training for levels for me....I mean sure it takes longer to train for expirience but it feels less like something you have to do =P like my goal is 50m str thiers 12m more to go for me and that doesnt seem like that much even though it would be 75-99 exp all over again same with runecrafting 96-99 i hated it i hated it i hated it but when ihad to rc after 99 i went all the way to 18.6m exp and was not stressful at all i think 99-120 dungeoneering is a mix between leveling and training for expirience because the expirience is so much but you achieved the main goal :P
  6. 120 dging will be interesting when batch 2 come out and same with who accually will get 2496 total only a few people are hardcore dging now as most realize after 100 thiers no point ;o but i think the current 2376ers alot have anounced they wont go to 120 but i think a bunch will just to be maxed total lol... and 320 99 dgers and the cape still gets omgs and wows when worn in random places outside of 117 =D

    Thats one problem I have, when I get a goal, I need another one or I get bored fast. Happened with Ely, gona happen with 99 slayer, etc. I try and solve that by having several goals at the same time, even if I'm only working on one. (Next up, 80+ raiding, DSS, 99 range) yah lol just go one skill to the next.... after all 99s ive just been slaying everything cuz thats the only skill thats awesome and dungeoneering is good but batch 2 new floors isnt here... but i hit a wall in 2009 with all 80 and 99 slay and like 138 combat....and not doing any skills

  11. cap should be raised the effigies give free exp anyway and the person with the effigy is going for the lamp at the end.. and then we can get exp for helping instead of "hey u have 93 con?" "sorry capped" or maybe train the easier skill for the effigy if all you want is lamp 97 cook 97 fletch 97 thief 97 smithing/mining - hard one@ 97 summon 97 crafting 97 fishing 97 hunter i got 2 effigies yesterday so since they dont stack in bank saving them is not practical for everyone...

  13. no tokens pl0x ? =p but dungeon with the boss that drops it would be good? maybe around bandos difficulty but waaaaaay more common drop and untradable with a dungeoneering requirement. just dont make me get 17m dg exp total to get it even tho i'll train it afer batch 2 :P
  14. they could make more dchain from dusties drops =P something to tell ur friends about "omfg i got a xxx" instead of bosses these drops would be more casual instead of expected lol...

  16. i enjoyed the process of 99ing a skill and training it playing sc for fletch craft construction and smithing the only skills i didnt like were mining and fletching...i just did them to max total i enjoy the friends i make skilling too and talking to them and iliked training dungeoneering but now its just blah....so i guess im doing it just to get lvl 99 =p i really enjoyed slayer it wasnt like i was getting a 99 at all i was just out to kill stuff :) i dont have much expirience in skills after lvl 99 but i plan on only doing skills i like dungeoneering to 120 after batch 2 thieving firemaking cooking str and rc :P

  19. He's been training defence/ranged/herblore casually for a few months now, and been working heavily on con (soon to hit 200m). See here. Yep Jdelacroix is also on pace to become the first player with 9, 10 and 11 skills with 100M xp or more, he is currently tied with Gertjaars at 8 skills and only Aasiwat (7 skills) looks to have a chance to get those milestones before him. hes gained all this range xp, all this def xp, hes 75m hp xp, but in all the xp hes gained he hasnt gained a single slayer xp, his slayer still remains clear down at 16m which is a huge flaw, prob costs him about 100-200m xp of what he truely is so this is why zarfot is still far ahead of jd 15m slayer exp is all i guess hes around 2-3 months behind zarfot in slayer? not really that significant...
  20. You didn't kick him...? Kicking needs to be improved. Atm, if you kick someone the dungeon doesn't reset to 4:4 instead of 5:5 for mimes etc. Additionally if someone is kicked the whole team gets less exp. We've documented this. It's a double penalty so it's why we put up with leechers. seriously??? and if it changed to 4:4 then they would still get less exp. but yea im 95 dungeoneering and only have kicked someone twice lol.... i think titles should make or lose exp....or maybe like a +modifier for every key/skill door opened maybe 1% per so 10 key/skill doors would be 10% bonus or a bonus for doing damage in dungeon every 5000 damage = a 5% modifier and maybe damage to boss could be counted x2 but then it wouldnt be everyone gets same expirience so parties that train together when batch 2 comes out may not reach the higher floor lvls in time.... another option is maybe to replace a team member from someone outside idk how this would work maybe a peak option when your on the place that your put when u leave so one person can go look for someone or maybe bring some life back to dungeoneering forums and let people invite people from inside dungeon...but yea the kick option usually makes things worse people would rather work with a leecher than kick. if someone disconnects maybe a 5min leeway time.....then replace and the person that comes back would get a message "that party is currently full" or something
  21. have you ever set a timer? for me, looking at my timer at 40 mins, and an hour and 15 mins feels the same rushing / non-rushing the same floor. exp per hour difference is huge though. try it once, you'll notice the difference :) its like 5k-6k exp u lose for rushing but rushing/nonrushing time difference depends oon the party if you have 5 138s and you are nonrushing a floor can take less than an hr like 50-60mins but sometimes they take 70 and get 50K+ exp for more than just floor 34/35 but the team needs to stick together and still not make armor and stuff. rushing is highly variable and ive been on teams with toppagers thier are some maps where you are ok on food but other maps you all are running low on food/prayer and it doesnt save much time at all to rush cause you may need to fish/be extra careful also you might reach the monstr limit and have to clear anyway =p a good keyer is neccessary for a good rush one person keying/tooling or a keyer and tooler working closely together. but in a successful rush a floor can be done in 30-45 mins and give only 5k less so for 34-35 ud still get around 50k exp so that is a 6k-20k an hr difference =p a couple parties rush or non rush are generally bad and take 70-90 mins no matter what =P thats why it is important to be wise with team selection i mainly rush but if i join a team that says kill all but de and they are all 130+ ill do the floor but not expect it to go as fast.
  22. kicking people is pretty hard accually if you move the screen goes away if you are in combat you cant kick someone.....if you kick someone u run risk of mime ruining day.....so you have to all agree to kick the person at the end and have to get the whole party members to agree...ive only been in 2 teams where someone was successfully kicked from team. once was a leecher that sat at base left party and sat at base again other time was with my friend that had 96 dungeoneering and he said "kick that leecher" "hes gone take his food if you need" some dungeoneers dont play around. one thing about finding good teamates that helps alot you remove the 5-10 mins to find random team members or if your bored of rs standing in 117 doing nothing even though you may not save as much time accually inside the dungeon......doing 7 larges in a row with the same team is epic ! 6 larges * 5 mins = 30 mins which usually is over half a large dungeon.
  23. Don't do the above. It's a sure fire way to royally piss people off-- especially if the remaining members get "stuck" in a dungeon because of it. Anyway, I guess I need to stay playing with more people who have 99 slayer, because I've never once seen a Soulgazer, and I'm 80 dung. Many 90+ dungeoneering vets are parts of various groups that keep lists of players who quit during dungeons. You do not want to end up on one of those lists if you want to still find quality team members. Speaking of the Soul Gazers, as I said I'm 220k off 88 and I've never seen one, and the teams I go with usually have at least two 99 slayer people. And these people themselves, many of whom are over 100 dungeoneering, have never seen one either. They are just extremely rare. I have never seen a soulgazer either but i think edimu soulgazers will be more common on the higher floors. =) I have never quit during a dungeon but i have never seen any of these "list" either but would like too though I do have a short mental list of bad people to team with.... thiers only a few times where I would have been better to quit a dungeon than stay with the group and one of the times is when they had barely any map at 30 mins in....was thinking of quitting during then and everyone quit b4 the 530 riftsplitter boss and me and this other dude were alone and 2 doors still unopen...1hr 40min waste =p most of the time you can speed up a slow group Thiers too many people that ragequit after dieing at levers or dieing to a combo from monsters if in begining a regroup is prob better but if its far in....its just annoying as that one or two deaths is not going to hurt your exp that much if your that far in...but thier is only one instance where a mime prevented us from completing boss so usually that one person doesnt effect the teams chance of completing dungeon unless a maxed player quits and noone else is maxed and noone else has the levels to find critical boss paths.
