Buy uncut rubies on ge for around 1.4k. Then sell the cuts for around 1k (always use standard price as it's the fastest - the values should be around there as I just checked yesterday). Tele to castle wars and withdraw a chisel and 27 uncut rubies, cut them, bank, repeat. Afterwards when you're all done, sell the cut rubies and repeat again if you want to. Due to the speed of cutting gems you should be able to make at least 170k crafting xp an hour at pretty cheap prices.

Increase your cb level. Your hitpoints aren't even ranked, you shouldn't be surprised if it's hitting you often.

Pretty much any method will work, he's not that hard. I recommend melee just because if you get a couple lucky dds specs, he's dead (rather than wasting a bunch of runes and/or arrows). You will of course need good food, an inventory of lobsters at least.

Most randoms are annoying but some are pretty good. Would you be glad if they got rid of the classroom/genie? Even ones like molly and scaperune pete give some good rewards, up to 4+ diamonds for about less than a minute of work. The best random is of course the maze, something of which I can usually get 60k+ off of for a minute's worth of work. Randoms shouldn't be taken out, they're already too much a part of the game and break apart long hours of boring skilling; something you probably wouldn't notice until they were gone. But the sandwich lady should die.

How does that work?

Could anyone clarify for me how to work the butler? Specifically, what is the best way to go about with oak larders? Bring logs for them to go to the sawmill, or bring oak planks...I don't know too much about the process; can either logs or planks be noted?

Runescape is just another activity. Your success in life will be based on your own base ability. I play rs avg 2-3 hrs a day and I have an A+ average, volunteer a lot and do lots of extracurricular. Blaming RS for your disappointments isn't very fair since generally any other activity (even using the washroom, eating/walking slow, daydreaming, napping) would probably consume the same amount of time per day.

I've never seen a revenant hit more than 3 (and even then, only once). And this amazing "poison teleblock ice barrage magic" attack is more like the amazing "splat and does nothing" attack. Most of you complaining are lvl 70- in f2p, not a surprise.

The hat gives +5 to stab, slash, and crush whereas the berserker helm gives +3 str bonus. Assuming I'm using a whip, and ignoring defense bonuses, which one is better?

Up till now, I still don't get the big deal with these guys. I train in wildy all the time and get attacked by them all the time. Mostly I only carry a dds and a couple trout. The revenants do nothing but splat on you and occasionally hit a high one; even so I get a greater challenge out of lesser demons. I think most of you getting hurt by these guys really need to increase your combat lvl and get better weapons, simple as that.

Have any of you been to barbarian assault? You'll get enough of the word "noob" as well as actual noobs for a lifetime.

I don't get the p2p people who get killed by revenants. I was in the same area (running wilderness agility course) and got attacked by three revenants. I survived on 2 trout and a dds. Lots of people tell stories of them constantly teleblocking and barraging for 30; it's more like they splat on you 95% of the time and have almost nonexistent melee attacks. Seriously, I don't get what the big deal is, they're on average weaker than moss giants.

Your stats are horrible, what did you expect? True, there are several changes that jagex could make to fix bounty hunter, but complaining about dying when you have 70hp and no defense in a highly dangerous area is a joke.

What are all the weight reducing items? I know there are boots of lightness, penance gloves, spottier cape...anything else? Thanks.

What attack style do they use other than range? It's hard to tell through all the mess.

Yeah I know, so because of that fact the next "clue" that you get, will it be a rare item instead?

2/10 Xp values are highly flawed, which sticks out in a guide about xp efficiency. Pures, high attack, and high str are almost the same thing, I don't see why you'd bother to separate them. Also, attacking random monsters like brawlers, or monsters that aren't attacking the void knight is a waste. Portals first, end of story. Pest Points > Zeal. Very basic, and factually incorrect guide.

If a certain monster drops a variety of rare items, one of which is a lvl 3 clue, will keeping the clue in your bank/inventory increase the drop rate of the other rare items (i.e. the next time I'd get a clue drop, I get a rare in its place instead because I already have a clue)?

Recently, whenever I log onto a world, after about one hour something weird happens. At first the game gets really choppy, and then eventually it freezes altogether. This has happened to me 4 times over the past couple days. Has anyone experienced the same thing or is it just me?
