Technically it's not a form of merchanting, but speculating / investing. if you wanna get technical about it :twisted: but you can still buy in the median region and re-sell in the high region for a lot of items if you have the patience...and knowing that the GE takes "places in line" and knowing the average times that it updates (around 9 am to 2 pm eastern...sometimes on rare occasion 5 pm), you can get first in line before anyone else. let's say a pure essence is at max price of 135 each and EVERYONE is paying 135 for it. being the first one to be there when the price changes and you put in for 5 million essence at 136 each...you'll obviously get precedence before people who failed to update their GE in time. knowing that one principle is quite useful...event though it sounds so basic and like "common" knowledge. people called my staking tips common knowledge after i released them (after the duel arena was killed), yet i never saw them doing the same and guaranteeing themselves billions as i did. now let's look @ an item that has a range and is buyable for all prices...like runes. chaos runes were possible to purchase for 105 each fairly easily, if you put in at a good time. they were also easy to sell for the max price to people who don't have the patience to wait and need them ASAP. they'd put in for a much higher price and get them right away. so then this brings back old fashioned traditional merchanting. taking a fairly stable item that will move slightly up/down depending on the time of demand...but overall stay straight course (gold ore is a good example). btw, if anyone wants to know an item that's sky rocketing you should look @ cosmic runes...they're making me 20M daily :P This guy knows what he's talking about. i'm stocking up on blood and soul runes....mostly bloods. why? they're at the lowest price they can possibly be...330 each. if they're in high demand there's a lot of room for them to climb. the store asks for 550 each...no1's really been buying bloods because of no pking and no staking...life time supply of them wouldn't be bad either.. so yeah...bloods because IMO blood, nature, and soul runes will be primarily used to summon creatures. iunno how else we'd do it :-k plan on turning a huge profit with it...and if they're not used? hell...i didn't lose anything b/c the store pays 330 each lol

i agree with monte about a new form of merchanting...a new form of merchanting that i spoke about long before any of this happened...immediately when the GE came out i saw it. i'm glad now...cause it'll actually take timing about knowing when to sell and when to buy. told you guys it'd top at 170 max (it maxed at like 165) and then plummet...look at it now :shame: qelter...about your stock market reponses...the GE actually imitates the stock market. you say "rapid", but in reality it's the same concepts. things in runescape of course will occur more rapidly than they do irl..i don't know many who can build a table in a day :lol: . stocks in the real world will hit huge marks and very low marks...and either middle out at the end of the day, or stay low or high. for the most part, they'll reach that middle ground with a slight increase/decrease....that is until a major blow hits the economy that surges a rapid sell or buy for that particular stock. the same is occuring in rs...except in "runescape" time, and not real world time....and it's gonna take the same market savviness to become good at it (in a simplified manner so to speak).

And you people seriously make me laugh, thinking USC deserves a national bowl spot after the home loss to STANFORD at HOME. Then Oregon? you lost to Stanford...Tech lost to BC...Georgia lost to Tennessee get over it...let's be real, the BCS is bs on how people are chosen...we know this. the fact remains is that it IS the way it works and without a playoff it's the only way that will work. that being said, it doesn't matter if LSU lost twice or even to an unranked team and you deserve it more blah blah blah...you lost to STANFORD! fluke i know, and maybe you are better than LSU..but that one loss will never be forgotten. same thing with SATs and other tests..not exactly the best way to test your ability and how well you'll do in college...but it's all we got right now.

maybe...but something else comes to my mind when you explained your relationship in vague detail: just what a relationship should be. to me, a relationship is for two people to have companionship and to travel along life's "ladder" and help each other climb it, support one another, and keep on trucking along and stopping when you have to bring them back on the ladder. if you aren't being bettered as a person and/or you aren't bettering your partner as an individual...then you shouldn't be together, because a relationship is about making each other better people as a whole. good on ya Goddess with your realization of all that...because a lot of women don't. i feel very bad for them. they feel like they need someone for them to be happy and just don't understand what a relationship should be: the betterment as individuals. my aunt used to tell me stories that in her teens, girls would write down: Mrs. __________...like they had no individuality and were waiting for some guy to come along and give them purpose.

Georgia did not win their division, let alone their conference...end of story. Even though they have a strong conference, if they're not the strongest one from it..then they don't belong there. just the luck of the draw between which conference you're from i suppose.

Ohio State will dominate the majority of the game... LSU will come back from virtually nothing in the 3rd quarter and force OT, and win in triple OT i'm kinda disappointed that the Hokies lost, but they lost all from picks from Sean Glennon...plus it was one hell of a good game. so i'm not too bummed :D

it won't reach 200 each...lol @ the poor predictions it will rise to possibly 170 each MAX and then plummet...depending on if life runes will be released or not and their price. i'm selling the 4 million essence i purchased for 135 each for 157 each right now. however, normal essence would be a very good investment atm...i can see that rising to 30 each or so...it's currently 23? if not 23 it's 27..can't remember the price. if it's 27 i can see it going to 35-40

i don't care who wins....but here's what i want the next president to do: 1.) give us back our constitutional rights that have been shattered by President Bush. Yesterday i had to renew my college loan for this upcoming spring semester and had to listen to part of the Patriot Act about how if i'm a possible threat that they can get all my information from the bank without my consent. that's bullcrap. 2.) bring universal healthcare to the United States so i don't have to see thousands die, and millions go bankrupt because they can't afford treatment. my insurance policy is great atm as long as i stay in school, and even with a great insurance plan i still have hundreds of dollars in co-pays and medicine (medicine when i need it...i'm not a regular user). if this means paying more in taxes, then so be it...but i don't feel like valuing my money over someone else's life. 3.) have a set plan of what we are to do about energy. gosh i hope Gore runs. 4.) balance the dam budget and start making smart decisions. we really have way too much in the military, but after everything we have done in the Bush administration we kinda need that military because of pissing off so many people...way to go Dubyah =D> so all and all...my most important tallies are going towards those...and heavily on health care/energy. whatever candidate can do that i'm voting for...but i know it won't happen and the debates will be totally useless information. why can't we have real people ask REAL questions and get REAL answers? my question for one is: "Why do i have to pay 10.5% VARYING interest on an EDUCATIONAL loan? Many other countries have their higher schooling paid for them and have around 15% more in taxes than we do (something is not balanced here), and still others have 0% interest educational loans. So why do we have to be so uniquely American when obviously doing so is not fair to the actual citizens?" i think i shall throw my support to Hillary just because if she's in...so is Bill. two for the price of one, and the economy was outstanding under Bill. the least of my worries are the moral issues...though important, i don't feel like they deserve recognition atm. i am against gay marriage and abortion...but i seriously don't care what the candidate's stance is on those if they can do the four above.

Now i know what you're going to say: "omg if the IP changes then they'll just ban them...who cares" "just banning them" was what they were doing when the bots were selling the gold to players, yes both the players and the bots were banned....so we're back to square one. not to mention people's IP's change (granted not from country to country). how do i know? no that's not a password scammer...the MSN just gets bleeped out by tip.it. it's very real and very "legit" (as far as this goes lol).

if you're in high school, i feel like they work better for several reasons. 1.) a girl's worst fear is to be known as a [bleep] (well maybe not their worst fear...but in general it's up there). they don't want to be known as "easy"; it crushes them. it's one reason a lot of girls go "sex crazy" when they hit college. they were so damn scared of what their peers thought of them that they just stayed as far away from it as possible. now in college, it's not looked down upon as much + you have a much larger scale of people (not everyone knows everyone). if you're dating her and she goes to another school, other people won't even know she's dating anyone at all. this gives her more freedom from any gossip that might be going around..and she'll most likely date you more because there's no friends/gossip to interfere with what she wants. 2.) it's more exciting when you see each other. 3.) you get more freedom to meet with other people without jealousy. everyone experiences jealousy...that's probably my biggest ego defect. i go crazy jealous. i never let it appear on the outside, but on the inside if she wants to hang with some guy alone...it's driving me crazy! there's more points as to why it's better...but in grade school, dating other people from other schools is pure ace. unless it's so far away that it begins to pose a problem Rpg, i'm glad to hear it brother. just keep that confidence flowing, make the relationship take "unexpected turns" (for the better), and i don't think she'll be leaving for a while \
