LOL what are you loling at? if you don't consider time valuable and valuing it over rs money then you're a fool. Your point is? just don't train it that way... i'm not training it to begin with. it's got [cabbage] rewards and lvls your combat for no advantages. and ok...i'll do it using blue charms that don't require many shards and have a reasonable second (an adamant bar for example). then it costs 185M in secondaries/shards assuming you pay 2.3k an addy bar. judging by charm collecting topics, you can get 60 gold by the time you can get 1 blue. so you still need to spend the same amount of time collecting the charms....if not even MORE time because if that rate continues to be constant you could get approx 800k gold charms by the time you can get enough blue for 99. By the time it does cost 100M in shard i will have made 150M+ in loot and gained tons of exp in not one or two but...8! skill (Attack,Str,Def,Hp,Ranged,Magic,Slayer and Summoning) 150M in loot huh...then why does 99 slayer give approximately 90M-100M in loot not counting money spent on food, potions, or cannon balls...not to mention people with 99 hp need to get it all over again just to lvl another skill. if they had 99 hp before slayer, then that makes a 3rd time. kinda unreasonable if you ask me....and again, once your charms are collected...that's only the beginning. you haven't even trained the skill yet..awesome.

By taking their time and being smart. time is money..so taking your time in this sense is definitely "not smart"...and may i ask what you mean by "being smart"? the minimum cost for the skill to 99 is 11 million gold doing turtles or w/e...gl getting 200,000 or so shells + 200,000 gold charms. i have about 1 billion net worth now (spent hundreds of mills on farming, smithing, construction, and bursted/chinned range and magic), and the amount of people with 1 billion+ is such a small fraction compared to the whole population. to lvl the skill in an actual manner that makes sense, it's going to cost at least 100M in shards and seconds + takes about as long as 99 slayer (just to gather the charms), and then take about as long as an average speed skill to lvl it (approx 60-100k an hour exp) ....WITH NO REAL REWARD! the amount of people with even 100M is VERY small in relation to the entire RS population..and the amount of time available to get this skill up (at least imo) is een more unavailable.

well when you've been around since the 50's with like 10+ HBO specials it'd be kinda hard to think of completely new material. i feel like "You're All Diseased" was fairly new even tho it was in 1999. Complaints and Grievances kind of carried on where that left off and had similar things to talk about. his newest one was by far his worst...but he's pretty old too heh. and when you think about it...i don't know any comedians who have COMPLETELY new material on each set that they do...especially those dam blue collar comedy people. Ron white's bits were the same in "Blue collar comedy tour", his own special, AND "blue collar comedy tour II" (w/e the title is). same thing with Foxworthy and the Cable guy. Bill's wasn't a copy of the same thing so i'll leave him alone lol. Eddy Murphy...Delirious and Raw shared many characteristics. the lists go on and on...but to have that many specials over these many years...he definitely deserves the most talented Stand up Comedian of all time award =D> Pryor i consider to be the Hendrix...not necessarily the greatest, but he was the innovator and opener to a new form of material.

Just remember that the GE also grants 100% anonymity. he's not whining about profit...he's whining (with good reason) because Jagex did not do what they said they would. what if the dragon large wasn't released yet and they released it today? and they set the price at like 12 million or something. why should that be the case in a market that thrives on supply and demand? it's ridiculous.

I already have this discussion going on in the Debate Club, so I won't bother answering it except in a nutshell. Skills are what sets Runescape apart from other things. Not anything PvP. Geez, you people are starting to sound like small children. Anyone hear the phrase that Anticipation is half the fun of something? The other have would be the actual thing you're waiting for, but that saying is true even if you don't realize it. Speculating about things and trying to figure out what it will be like is sometimes better than the actual thing, or maybe even always. Take Summoning as an example. JaGex is putting a lot of hype on it, half the threads in the forum are about it. I betcha once its out for a month or so that hype will just die right down. And guess what, I don't hate PKing, not in any way. Just what PKing has become, an obsession, something not good. Is it wrong to have an obsession within an obsession? (PKing within Runescape) In fact, I think PKing is vital to the economy. I should say was vital though. When one business grows, other businesses grow to support it. Pking grew, they needed potions, Herblore grew. They needed food, Cooking and fishing grew. If they need armor, mining and smithing right up there. If they're mages or rangers, fletching and runecrafting. I don't hate PKing, but its removed, and I'm dealing with it. If skills were removed, I'd learn to deal with it. ROFL!!!! RS is the only MMO i know that even had a player killing system the way it did...so on the contrary, pking is what set it apart from other games. i don't give a dam about any new updates....anticipation is not half the fun of something. you want the fun in something? roll back every update since desert treasure and RS will be the funnest it's ever been (besides RSC pking of course).

of course he only had a dagger....only a [developmentally delayed] would bring in good gear to bounty hunter. anyone with more than 100k is automatically labeled as dead. not to mention to prevent MORE rl trading (because they still sell it through bounty hunter lawl), they removed FOUR worlds..so now there's only 2 BH worlds.

that doesn't mean "none" have been traded...it means very few have been traded a certain number has to go through before prices can be affected...what that number is i do not know and jessy's assumption about blue was wrong...that was the only price that they underspeculated. i could have gotten 430-450 before they change the GE. i held onto it for the off chance that they didn't change prices at all and that i could get 550 for it :lol: ...and i FIGURED they'd have gotten the real price of it so it would have been zero risk. well...was wrong there..because 380-420 was WAY off...not to mention the prices of other hats were WAY off too, except Jagex put them too high :evil:
