  1. Not for long. Noticed gas prices lately? And that it's nearly no oil left underground may have something to do with it Jack? Conservatives in America aren't concerned with energy independence.
  2. SOURCE: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/e ... 133668.ece Hmmm, this seems like an idea that might have some merit. Granted, I'll believe it when I see it, but it sounds like it has more ground than biomass products to produce combustibles. My only worry is that it might give leaders excuses to shelve clean energy if they pursue this further. I also heard something about plankton forming bio-fuels a while back, but haven't heard anything since. That said, I still hold my skepticism. I wanna see something about this published in Science or Nature before growing with any excitement, but it is interesting :) OT: Computing using Bacteria http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/05/28/bacteria-computer.html
  3. Nothing...went to a party. My 18th birthday was at the start of the college Fall Semester
  4. Steel Force at Dorney Park: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steel_Forc ... coaster%29 Or The Hypersonic XLC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypersonic_XLC King's Dominion removed it in 2007 though...I'm pretty pissed
  5. He was BY FAR the most fair person in the news when it came to politics. He offered little to no [cabbage], and was fairly realistic about situations. He had the memory of an elephant, and a high intelligence. He could always find the most important parts of bills being passed in the United States...it was so weird. He had a natural gift, and I'm going to miss him on "Meet the Press". Ironically enough, the man loved politics so much that he met his wife at a Democratic Convention in the '70's. Farewell Mr. Russert...you will be missed. This 2008 White Board is for you =D> The only two people I can think of being remotely close to filling his shoes are David Gregory or Chuck Todd.
  6. Did any involve the Bolshevik Revolution?
  7. No, I have not. It's one of the things I plan on doing before I die though, and it will most likely be a dissertation of some sort or auto-biographical.
  8. I know... I'm saying why would we want to move here and not back to where we were or somewhere similar...
  9. We were going to move to phpbb3 anyway. But why? It's gonna be really hard to get used to the skins and the way the forum is laid out. Quite frankly, it looks worse and it's harder to read the topic titles.
  10. Why move from somewhere that's not broken :\
  11. I'm fed up of people saying all Muslims are terrorists, some of my close friends are Muslim and not one of them has ever contemplated terrorism, To Muslims any picture of Allah or the Prophet Mohammad, is offensive, peace can only be achieved By respecting other people's beliefs, keep doing that and every group is going to get it's way. maybe they can be tolerant themselves of our rights and go read a book while shows that depict those 2 characters for 30 minutes. about America in itself: i don't like people who have the "if you don't like it leave" attitude towards people who criticize America. their typical argument is "you don't appreciate what you have spouting statements like that...go live in Africa then we'll see how bad America is" where is the logic in this? all we're trying to do is make Ameria BETTER! the fact is we love America, and because of our love for it, we want to better it in every way possible. if you can't take criticism then maybe you should just not listen to me and take advantage of your own rights in doing so.
  12. money isn't the issue? are you blind? our economy (US) is in shambles atm and no1 knows where it's going...it's very unstable. it could perk up out of nowhere..it could tumble into a void of nothingness...both in an instant (respectively) what defines morality? what's the standard? and by moral issues i mean: gay marriage, abortion. and stem cell research.
  13. totally agreed here...that was the point of my first post.
  14. That's an entirely seperate thing altogether. The clothes you wear are somewhat comparable with the style of personality you have. You can expect a person who dresses in 'loud' clothing will typically be an extrovert who doesn't really care about what other people make of them. Those who dress in fairly plain clothing will typically have 'safe' personalities and won't be that compelled to 'push the boat out' in life, as it were. If you're going to counter this by saying girls don't care about personality, then I ask you; in your own mind, what exactly do girls look for in guys, in general? not what i implied. of course the most important thing when it comes to dressing is dressing in clothes that you personally feel sexy in...but there's nothing wrong with knowing stuff about fashion. i'm not saying that clothes don't display personality, but i know A LOT of women attracted to guys who..well..."know how to dress" and have a grasp on it. they aren't dressed in clothes that exploit their personality per say, they just knew what to wear in essence. kind of like a guy who knows how to dance (98% don't...)
  15. lol...someone told me about a macaw. just like the rewards posted here, theirs sucked as well. they were happy with the fact that it flies around though lol. strike one for "rewards"...2 left (with 3 reserved for february)
  16. You clearly don't understand the metaphorical idea behind the heart. I think for most people it would be their heart. People always say they're going to be rational and take love slowly, but as soon as anyone meets someone they fall for rationality is the first thing to go. I say heart. TOTALLY AGREE that's why i avoid relationships until later...i don't need to be sacrificing my goals for someone else....call it a fear of committment, but it's the only way i know i won't do something stupid. like, i almost didn't apply for a study abroad program because i'd be gone for a year :\ now if she'd like to come along with me for the ride, then i'd have at it :)
  17. i feel like the employees in the Office when Michael tells them they get a special surprise at the end of the day so they don't think about their bad health care plans...and at the end of the day he gives them ice cream sandwiches.
  18. sounds exactly the same as when they "fixed whips and mauls" and the more recent "black marks removal": they're unable to admit they were wrong, they have to blame it on us saying we miscalculated (just like they blamed whips/mauls on a SIX MONTH bug), and explaining how it's "profitable" not to mention...if it was so profitable to begin with, why the need to HALVE the price of shards...not just reduce...HALVE THEM! tad bit like an infomercial "oh wait..don't quit yet...there's more...please just wait" not to mention their logic is totally flawed...looking @ something being profitable in this manner is like saying "smithing is profitable too...just smith your own bolts and then go kill monsters with them"
  19. I'm with mrpez on this oneSorry if I allowed myself a bit of schadenfreude after eight years of W, but I just can't help it when the party that claims to be hard on traditional morals and national security produces all sorts of major and minor scandals relating to anything from prostitution to seducing underage boys to, in this case, funding international terrorism. agreed look at the Reagan administration...how many of those [bleep]ers did we have to waste tax dollars on to send to trial? lol edit: just looked it up....TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE! including the attorney general lol.
  20. well the reason people think it matters is because someone else thinks it matters (if that makes sense)...and so it shall continue until the end of time. thankfully in this day and age it's not as important...but it's still there. a lot of girls judge your fashion sense too...luckily most guys don't have any (like me). i'd like to get better at it tho...without totally giving up my masculinity hahaha.
  21. btw, i apologize for the edited in outburst...i just don't like being called a liar, especially while being insulted at the same time. so, sorry. i seriously did not bug abuse...the loan was from D4rk Elf, if anyone remembers him lol. i saw that DI claimed he bug abused, but i watched him stake often and never saw him do anything abusive. i figured it was just jealous people who had lost to him and didn't want him to win anything from anyone else by ruining his reputation with propoganda. he loaned it to me 3 months before i was actually banned...it's my only reasoning for being banned, as the "date of offence" i was away from home...thanksgiving break and all.
  22. strict rule followers never make history i agree...but you should get more than 1 chance and learn from it. but i went from 0 black marks to 10 from my "bug abuse" that i didn't even do.. i am, however, guilty of this offence (different account than the one i spoke of earlier): why did i choose to auto? because i wasn't about to train another account "fairly" when i did nothing wrong on my previous account. and don't call me little one
  23. awww poor Jagex losing too many customers so they gotta do this to attract em back shut up lord krohn...i got banned for bug abuse because i accepted a 100M loan to go staking with from a friend who bug abused (i didn't know he did...well he told me he didn't)
