  1. Link doesn't work. Anyways, nice concept art. Though I'd like to see what it'll be ingame. We all know concept art looks a lot prettier than the actual graphics.. Though, I must say, it looks promising. Also curious about what seems a day/night picture.
  2. A RL blog on a Runescape fansite? While there are a lot of free blogging services already? I don't see why it would have a purpose here...
  3. I don't think this means anything. It's just a change in name. As said before, Game Studio looks a bit more friendly than "ltd". It doesn't have to mean anything.
  4. Uhm, there were actually banks in january 2001? I never saw them...
  5. What is this girl thing that everyone is talking about? No seriously, I'd like to see a poll on the Runescape website about player gender. I do know that a significant percentage of the maxed out players is female. There was a poll on gender in the maxed out forum. Don't know in what way it is representing the actual percentage of female players in RS, but I'd sure be a decent percentage.
  6. Nice cash pile, nice fishing xp  8/10
  7. Lol, yeah, sure. All those one itemers are real pk'ers. Pk'ing was ment to be risky. People can't use their d claws / ags without risk anymore, and that's a good thing. Pk'ing takes real skill now.
  8. 99 firemaking is not impressive, especially not when trained like you did. Though, 16 99's, without cooking or fletching, is epic. Amazing achievement
  9. Because some people just like the game. I'd rather socialize irl.

Yep. My girlfriend says it makes her period more regular. Just take the pill for three weeks, one week off, and repeat. She likes it. And so do I, because condoms are ftl (but babies are even more ftl).
  11. Rubbish. Impressive-ness and how "special" something is is TOTALLY based on opinions. Cooking can give 300k/h, but if you train it with shrimps to level 99 for example, and you find it an achievement you can be proud of, it is special. "Special-ness" is not based on other people's opinions/achievements. It's your own achievements. Don't listen to people who laugh at you because you have a cooking cape. All 99s are impressive IMO. You can have your own opinions, but I think the dedication taken to reach a level 99, regardless of it being an easy 99 or hard one. You still have to take a lot of time to get a level 99 in cooking. If you reckon 99 cooking as an achievement, and something you have to invest a lot of time in, then getting a hard 99 is inhumanly hard. 99 cooking is just as hard as, lets say, 70 runecrafting. And honestly, if you train cooking with shrimps, you're just crippling yourself. That's the same as barehandedly fighting yourself to 99 slayer. Skills like cooking and fletching are pathetically easy. 300k an hour with barely any clicking and loss of money.. come on. Since every moron can get 99 cooking, and seeing how many cooking capes have infested Runescape over the years it's safe to say that 99 cooking isn't impressive anymore. Something that is so commonly observed can't be impressive. Weird comparison.. so runecrafting is just slow, and cooking is just to get food cooked? How about runecrafting is to make runes? And if cooking is just to get food cooked, then why do I see all those wannabe 99 cookers buy raw food from the GE and with the sole purpose of getting the cape? Slayer is generally regarded as more impressive, simply because training slayer is a lot less easy than just spending a few million gp, click a few times and buying the cape. If you don't agree with 99 slayer being more impressive than cooking, then I guess you're one of the few.
  12. And the d scim users will be shred to pieces by people that actually do pk with a little risk. Great move by Jagex.
  13. N0valyfe had a name that resembled his play style: no life. Anyways, playing excessively like you're planning to do will probably make you lose interest. The only way I've gotten all those 99's is by taking regular breaks, doing other stuff in between, clear my mind, and such. I can't imagine one playing 22 hours a day, and actually persist.
  14. Hey, I thought you'd quit? Pretty impressive goals you've taken up.. I'm concerned with your health though, and I reckon you're going to get bored after a short while. I'd be a bit more patient, to make sure you're still enjoying it after a few months. Took me 8 years to get all the 99's...
  15. IF I were to lend out any items, and the borrower would complain because he or she couldn't wield the item.. then I'd say that's not my problem. That person willingly gave me money in order to lend that particular item. It's not my responsibility to check whether he or she is able to wield the item. I'd most likely tell them to gtfo. I'm not here to cater the idiots.
  16. "What is this board for? This is the board to use for posting screenshots and quick statements about a level/achievement that you have already completed." Learn to read please, and also if all you're going to do is flame and not even rate, please GTFO my thread. I'm allowed to post my opinion, and my opinion is that I dislike your achievment. Maybe if you'd have done it without 43 prayer it'd be something but really it's not difficult and I echo what bauke said, I don't see the point of deliberately doing something as a low level. If you have 43(+) prayer you could do that at any level. If you really want your rate - 0/10 e; also you double posted Again, LEARN TO READ, I said "if all you're going to do is flame and not even rate, please GTFO my thread". I don't have a problem with your comment, as everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I had a problem with your post, which I consider spam, as it did not even rate the achievement. He clearly rated it as "tiresome" and "not an achievement".
  17. 1/10 Crippling yourself and doing something everyone else can is no achievement.
  18. It's weird how they don't answer the "why" question...
  19. Yeah they did. Originially you had to click on either of 3 games when you entered tip.it. One of them was Runescape, another one was.. I think dark age of camelot, and I can't remember the other one. Don't know when they changed it. But I do remember it from back in the old days :)
  20. I'd say it's not a smart way to keep your customers happy if you obligate them to buy a key that is also an extra hassle when logging in. Jagex provides enough security. The key is a useful addition for those who want extra security, to protect them from screw-ups from which they are responsible themselves.

If you feel getting 99 prayer will affect your health, don't do it. It's still your responsibility. And you can still get it in a normal way by simply taking more time. As for the difference with P2P... that's simply how it's designed. P2P is payed to play, and thus gets more. Prayer is just a simple example. Your arguments can be held up for all benefits that P2P has. But yes, F2P prayer sucks. Just like F2P in general. That's why I got P2P. I'm not paying simply because I love to give Jagex my money ;)
  22. If I leave it on, I'm continuously spammed by people that want something from me. It's either friends or off.
  23. I pretty much right click anyone. Don't know why. Doesn't really serve a purpose, but heck.. I'll do it anyways.
