Wrapping it in the towel and leaving it on is to force the console to RROD, Nadril. Note that the OP says that his box doesn't have the RROD, which is why it's not covered by warranty. If he got the RROD, the box's repair would be covered in full by Microsoft (if his box was manufactured within 3 years from now). Nowhere did I say wrapping it in a towel would fix his box. The point is to completely break it so that Microsoft will pay for it in full, rather than it being only partly broken (yet still unplayable), and having to fork over $100 to get it fix. Obviously you wouldn't mention to MS that you wrapped it in a towel to force the RROD...

Damn it. I was rushing to type that in first I didn't read the full thing. :( If your warranty is expired I think it comes up to around 1/2 the price of the box. Or, if you don't want to pay at all, wrap a towel around that sucker and leave it on until it gets the RROD. Unless you bought your box right on launch Microsoft will cover the cost of the repair in full (warranty for RROD is 3 years after the xbox's manufacturing date).

Yeah, that would work. However, it's so much simpler to just click "Wait here for some time", lean back and wait for us to start war with another kingdom. I'll probably do what you suggested though unless we start a war real goddamn soon. Also, thanks OldJoe for posting some more info on the new expansion. It sounds really sweet. Go do quests for the lords in your faction; eventually one of them will say he's annoyed with the peace with whatever faction and send you to go raid a few of their caravans, which will start the war. Or you can just play Native Expansion, start your own kingdom and declare war on another faction yourself. I've wiped out the Swadians and have around 8 parties of 150+ men burning a path through the Rhodok lands, taking everything they have. Right now they only have 2 or 3 castles left muwahaha. I changed the Lord capture rate from 20% to 80%, it was pissing me off how I'd fight tooth and nail to kill their 150 man armies, and then they'd just scamper off and return in a few days with another one. So presently, I have around 8 lords rotting away in my prison tower, with more being added daily. Muwahaha.

Only bad experience was buying a dvd on eBay and it finally arriving like a month later. And if that wasn't enough, it was a bootleg copy (the seller had said it was authentic). It was all good though, because he got some angry feedback, and Paypal refunded me :D

I know, but it is possible that character traits are actually hereditary. Also, I'm not asking about natural selection as a whole, as it's quite obvious that war isn't the only thing that effects it. But in this case it's the most prominent factor.

I was just curious about something, so I thought I'd come here and share with you guys my quandry. If natural selection is true, eventually wouldn't the entire human population be made up of cowards? If bravery and courage are hereditary traits (which they could be), the brave and courageous people would all go off to war, and after generations of war, wouldn't they eventually ceast to exist?

A lot of companies aren't going to be shutting done but merging into bigger parent companies in the coming future. EAs shut down quite a few studios recently. Also there was Brash Entertainment, Ensemble Studios, ACES Game Studio, Microsoft Flight Sim Studio, Eidos selling their studio, Sony cutting some jobs in their gaming department, etc, etc.

The secret was that Gaeta was giving information to an 8 on New Caprica, and she was killing them. You have to have watched the webisodes though. -- My theory for the finale of the show is that the cylons give up with the humans and leave to find a new planet for them to colonize. The human fleet finally finds a cluster of 12 planets that they colonize. Would fit with the theme that "everything has happened before, and everything will happen again".

Awesome. I like hearing about crappy game companies shutting down, but Free Radical made some awesome games, so I was pretty bummed out when I heard they were closing down.
