I'd say don't ban, but give them a very severe warning. More then likely, the fear of being caught if they tried it again, coupled with the fact that they'd lose a character that a lot of their time has been invested into would cause them to stop macroing. I'm not saying they're above the rules, but a severe warning could serve the same purpose (having them stop macroing) as a ban.

The community was smaller and more tight knit, Andrew and Paul were part of the community as opposed to the overlords of it. The game was also relatively new so there was a lot of things to explore.

No they don't, Jagex confirmed that they were just for decorative purposes. But they look just like normal leather boots. I know makes me mad :x I want good gardening boots, not some rubbish leather ones
