My last one was a merchanting blunder, when I thought Mud Staves were still 2M each. So I traded a whip for a Mystic Mud and a Skeletal Legs. Then I saw someone selling a Dragon Hatchet, so I offered the Mud Staff and 1.1M, thinking Dragon axes were 3.1 still. Which was lucky. Because I sold the Axe for 2.8. What ended up happening was: Whip: 1.8 -> M Mud / Skel Legs: 1.5 -> D hatchet - 1.1: 1.7 + Legs = 1.8 Nice merchanting to make up for a mistake ;)

Sunday is also a weekend. Basically, it's promised that you will be able to use it on Monday. I personally don't use it, but I believe that's what was said.

I automatically started singing it to "i will survive" without noticing it also :lol:. Heh. XD

I remember bubsa's thread! Unfortunately, even if I could find it, thread necromancy is bad ;) No way I'm going to sing along to music though. And yes, in case anyone still doesn't get it, it's a change of lyrics from Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" Made into Runescape style, to show my insanity from hunting hundreds of Chinchompas. Jeez, subtlety is lost on some people.

Insanity? What insanity. On a side note, I am hunting 1500 chinchompas. At once. You can guess what you sing it too ;)

If anyone ever played any warcraft 3 custom games, I would LOVE to see an Enfo's style minigame. Pest control is similar, but I would like waves of monsters that you HAVE to defeat, with the portals unattackable. Or maybe a DotA type game, although that sounds suspiciously like B Assault ;)

Know what would be a kick in the pants for the lower level quest-capers? Hmm, you seem a bit weak to me. Come back when you've trained a bit. You must be 110 combat to start this quest.

Very good guide, but as I'm 62 farming, I was kind of disappointed with the high-level part of the guide. Mainly its absence. You say you're 75, so what did you do from 60-75? All watermelons and supercompost?

A minigame for all 400 of us 99 thieves? Jagex would never release an update for only 400 people.

An even simpler idea, that can encompass YOUR poison damage as well. Just outline your own damage in white, black, or yellow. Nothing has to change, except the outline.

I really hope by high level combat, JageX doesn't mean "70 is a high skill, isn't it?" If it really does require 100+ combat, I'll be impressed. The mini-game, honestly, does not really intrigue me, but it seems like it will be another pest control... or a flop. I laughed out loud at the "Cold War" name for the quest. Why do I get the feeling Mod Mark is involved in this? ;) All in all, this will be a great month!

But doesn't the slope of the Natural log function go the wrong way as the level increases? Namely, the Exp curve looks exponential not logarithmic. Yeah, that's why I'm curious as to where Phil's formula came from. It's such a strange looking thing. First note: You're right, it goes the wrong way. However, it's symmetric with the line y = x, so its inverse function is just what we need, that is the form e^x. And my guess for the second one is that they just hand-drew a curve without thinking any exact formula for it. Then they took the values from that. Now, if you try to search the formula for it, you'll end up with crazy values. If there is an exact, beforehand determined function, I'd search for something like e^(f(x)), where f(x) is a simple function including only 1 or 2-decimal values. I can't really say anything about Phil's formula. I didn't understand the "floor" thing. Is it something computer-related? At least I haven't seen it in mathematics yet. Still, that formula looks a bit complicated to me. I don't believe a programmer would just invent a formula like that. Of course, I could be wrong and it could be the exact formula. Considering JageX is a computer programming company, I think that Phil's formula is very likely the one they used. Floor and Ceiling are used in theoretical Computer Science, but aren't seen in upper level mathematics. I'm a dual major in college, and I have only seen them in the Computer Level side, not the Mathematics side. The two are basically rounding functions, to the integer. Floor of 1.7 is 1, and ceiling of 1.2 is 2. So they basically push the number either up or down.

~100k seems like a pretty accurate match for Knights. Back when I was doing 91-93, if I wasn't distracted, I could get that much, but with difficulty. The paladin number seems a bit high, however. (99 thieving here.)
