I had no idea. I wonder if there's something we can do to prevent it.

Sarcasm doesn't work when it's written, unless it's obvious. OR sarcasm can work, but when very well written : something our one-line Runescape chat doesn't allow.

To ban or not to ban: A lvl 126---1,500+ views

The less-persuaded macros that would be stupid enough to macro on their main. -

With the current ways of training, you're slow if it takes you 3 years to get 126. Second, what do you mean not balanced? Would it be better if I now dumbed my work, stopped training at gym, broke down my social contacts and quit RS? Would that make me more balanced? I'm fine with my current life and I see it as balanced. Thats why I pointed out this doesn't apply to all people in my first post. If you're part of the mignority that's 126 and balanced, good for you. Remember you have nothing to do with the other 126's, no need in defending them. Sorry if I didn't make it clear enough, but I was talking about a level 126 character(with good skills, etc) not just level 126 combat.

paranoia outweighing the joys with rares
highlanders replied to Dboy65's topic in General Discussion
Lol you people are so ignorant about hacking programs. 1- They crack using common passwords, don't use a common password and you are safe. 2- If you don't download questionable stuff, don't worry about keyloggers, Jagex is trying to make it seem much worse than it actually is. 3- Random events is the only thing you should be scared of. -
I had an interesting talk with an 'autoer'

This guys needs a job to eat, and you have no right to question his choice of job. What does he care that a bunch of american geeks are unhappy about this? This is a game for you, but for him this is how he can survive. You obviously are disconnected from reality - wake up. -
Very odd. I remember jagex saying explicitely in their news that they would transfer the items automatically, unless given notice otherwise. EDIT: Thing I didn't notice, they had a third item-moving, and looks like your items are on RSC. :( This is very odd, since my items back then were transferred to Rs2 automatically without me having to use any "moving feature", I don't understand. Jagex was really messed up back then, they changed their mind a billion times about the item-transfer.
-
The item transfer was done automatically from Rsc to Rs2, unless you gave a notice that you'd rather keep the items on Rsc. So unless you gave that particular notice, all your rares are waiting in the Rs2 version :)

A bit stereotypical no? I've seen 126's with horrible total levels... Then I've seen higher total levels on 100's... Think before? What makes the wrong, because the like combat over skills? Also, there are/were plenty of 126's prior to pest control  Just justify what you mean, in a non-stereotypical style... What I pick up is that you think all 126's are all 2277, or high high total level'd...Like the front page...Not all of them are rude, mean, or ignorant. I have a couple 126 friends, and they are a joy. ~Lee~ My point is, anyone, even using Pc, who plays on his behind long enough to become level 126 has some issues. This doesn't apply to people who get this over years. I am serious. A level 126, that got to this point over 3 years or less, that plays daily, etc, has problems. Balanced people don't sit on their behinds for hours and hours for virtual possessions and abilities, nope.

Runescape, 5+ years ago: Choosing classes
highlanders replied to Xzarn's topic in General Discussion
Wow there used to be classes o_O Why'd they go? Rs has regressed :) -
Too often :) I'm sorry to all 126's who aren't like that but: lvl 126 = people with problems or lvl 126 pc product = :shame:

I'm pretty sure different people feel things differently. There's not one person that will experience a given feeling the same way, I doubt it. And I also think there is much more emotions than the ones we labelled, different kinds of love(loyal, complicity, passionate, controlling, etc) and that each person will feel those different kinds of emotions differentlu. I'm a scorpio moon in astrology (moon controlling our emotions), and I've always felt things very intensely. When I'm angry at someone, I feel an immense rage, and I wish I could reach and grab the culprits head, get out of a knife, make him suffer untold pain until his mind is totally broken, then kill him. Sometimes I watch my uncle, he almost never gets angry, and when he does, he has almost no reactions, just his lips twisting into a weird smirk. Of course, I can't know what he feels inside, but he definitively reacts differently. The example about the little kids labelling an emotion as something different is interesting. But I don't think it works like that. The three kids wont feel the exact same emotion, the same way, it's impossible I think. And as little kids, I don't think we needed to ask our parents to know what it was. Personally, just a little introspection, and I could find the cause. The only feeling I didn't understand was the first time I had a "coup de foudre"(idk what's it called in english, suddenly falling in love with someone), it took me several months to figure out what had happened during those couple of seconds lol, but I figured it out  I think that: Different personalities = different feelings.

Well, competetion between friends is one of the reasons people get hooked to mmorpgs like Runescape. I suggest you quit at this instant, and let your nerdy friend damage his eyes staring at a computer screen, and become fat, while you go play outside, and have a nice life.

Where to train? Also rate my char if you want lol
highlanders replied to CharlieBrown's topic in Help and Advice
Well, if you want to wear those clothes, don't battle against magic-based attacking monsters or it's going to hurt with that -1 magic defence :) Idk what monster to suggest, at your lvl I would attack pretty much anything that wouldn't get myself killed :P Btw, keep training that strength/ranged(for hp), and keep def and prayer at that level, looks like your char is going to be a good semi-pure. -
Well, for pc you don't need focus on strength/attack bonuses(I'm assuming you use melee) and not care about defence. Bersker helm/helm of neitiznot Strength ammy/fury fighters plate rune defender/obby shield Fire cape if you have it Berserker ring or warriors ring(I hit much more with the warriors than the berserker's) Dark(barrows) gloves Rune boots/climbing boots If you use ranged or magic, then just do some tip.it item database reseach to find the pieces with the most ranged/magic attack bonuses.

Computer, internet = so long >.> Don't get me wrong, I never lagg, especially not with my great computer, very good graphics card, very good processor, high-speed cable internet. But even with that, computers, all computers, are all slow as hell. In the future they'll be wondering how we could manage all this slowness, they'll be all controlling the computers with their mind, finding info and doing things at thought-speed :)

Idk if you believe in karma: for every good thing that you do for someone, you will be done something good by someone else in another life. Therefore, you will be repayed for the good deeds you do, but not in your current lifetime, and not by the person you have helped. However, beware, you will not be repayed the good deeds you have done if they were made in the intention of being repayed(as in scratch my back, and I scratch yours) because that totally corrupts the purpose of 'giving'. Just do good things to people, by not expecting anything in return. Gives you something to ponder about.

1) Why do some people become ghosts while others can't? I think it is the copy, or inprint of what the person was after dieing. That person's soul goes to heaven, but a part of them lives a ghost on earth. I think it's that anyway, ghosts do not interest me. 2) Why did people in childrens tales describe ghosts as a bedsheet? Because ghosts seem to be translucid, so seeing them, I guess they are hard to see, so.. Oh heck, I don't know. Because the ghosts were that color, hello? 3) how can you tell if a medium is a fake or real? Intuition, if she can provide some good solid facts about something we could not know of, that helps.

Ever crossed your mind it is the other way around? After that, it simply goes into a wheel. "Sexy" girls do it, thus creating a "fantasm" image for guys (the almost nude girls, with partially nude breasts in evidence), they become attracted to breats as a sexual image, thus girls do it again, and so on. I never heard of any theory of evolution about males choosing female(it's always the female who choose the male, not otherwise) according on breast size. I also never heard of a women "going out of milk". Bigger breasts mean that there is additonal fat in the breast, not additional milk. Actually, unless a women is feeding a baby, there will never be any milk in the breast. Nature is not crazy, it wont be fooled by things like that. If you talked about male genital size, it would be a different issue, since there is actual proofs in evolution about it.

Lovely, are you stupid, or are you acting like this on purpose? Type "sexy girl" on google images, and what do you get? Images of so called sexy girls, breasts partially discovered, trademark of the "sexy" girls. A lifetime of seeing those images in the medias is enough for anyone to make the link breasts = sex.
