Why Macros are HELPING the RS economy...
highlanders replied to flamingo5555555's topic in General Discussion
Solidus you totally missed my point, here I'm talking about ressource gathering, not skills or whatever >.> Fishing and wc can be a steady income even for higher lvls, nothing flashy though, but all other ressource gathering, that it be a skill (fishing lobs by example) or not (picking flax) is just a waste of time for higher lvls. -
No surprise here. As usual, lovelydude claims something through his hat, but of course cannot prove it, what's new?
-
Oh because you can read their minds, is that it smart boy? And as for the "ton" of painting prodigys you claim exist, feel free to prove it  .

I'm surprised so many people consider it cheating. For me it's just part of the game. Just running at the other castle picking up the flag then bringing it back etc, it's just boring and monotonous. When you can pick up your own flag then go sneakily hide it adds a twist :) And well, if it makes the other team lose, so what? The cwars rewards are so ugly, I doubt a lot of people are saving up tickets for them, so we just play for fun, so why even care about this kind of thing?

I didn't state addiction problem, but yes a problem of any sort. I don't think a balanced human being would willingly spend all his waken hours sitting in front of a computer playing a game so much as to end up 1st among now a million of members.

Wow 16 and your mother still forces you to take those pills. Hopefully after this event she will stop.
-
I don't think Zezima will still play, atleast I hope he wont for his own sake. He has to grow up and live a life :? . He must have some huge problems playing a game so much he ended up 1st. There's kids who have huge addiction problems and they don't end up 1st >_>

Every decision you make is a life changing decision
highlanders replied to scn64's topic in Off-Topic
Err well that's true. But I do think we walk a path in life. Like a destiny, but we choose how we get there. My theory is: We start at point A: A______1________2__________3_________B Then somewhere there's point B, and whatever we do we will go through point 1, 2 and 3 (important destiny events) and end up in point B. We just choose how we get there. So according to my theory, whatever chain-event a small event triggers, it may change our path, but not how it ends, and what key events happen in it. Example: You're supposed to die at day B by saving a child from getting squished by a truck. Option 1: You decided to be a burglar, on day B you walk towards the museum in order to check the structure and make plans for your next robbery. As you walk, you see a child crossing the corner of the street towards the museum, you courageously leap and save him from death. Option 2: You decided to be a economist. You daughter has a homework and she asked you to go at the museum help her gather information. As you walk, you see a child crossing the corner of the street towards the museum, you courageously leap and save him from death. Common key event: The day your father taught you that saving human lives was the most important thing in life. So let's say idk a chain event happens at your office's shredder and your arm is shredded. It won't change how you save the little child on the day of your death. That's how life works in my opinion. I couldn't care less about chain events, unless they get my arm shredded  . -
Wow I can't believe you got in all this trouble for this. How old are you btw, if you dont mind me asking. I was surprised how your mother was forcing you to take those pills and all, I doubt you're very old. But you know, there would have been a really easy solution at your problem: flushing the pills in the toilet.

Lol plenty? Are you out of your mind? I'd like to see what you drew when you were 8 yrs old.

In the info, tell them when your account was created, where you lived when you created it and if possible the IP adress that you had when you created it, and tell them what was your internet service provider when you created the account, and if you know it the IP of that ISP.

Unclosable door in Lumby castle
highlanders replied to sweetypie101's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Lol, well, all doors are annoying for that matter. No use in keeping one closed. -
An idea of how to stop autoers (not completly)
highlanders replied to The_Gabe's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Omg no don't bring the sleeping bags back. Those were insanely annoying, now we have randoms it's enough. It's a childtrick for a programmer to make a bot automatically loggin again if logged out. -
Lol well heh it wouldn't hurt if Rs had a more elaborate combat system, and one that actually works.

Summer Time, oh BOY. What do you do to pass the time?
highlanders replied to Revenga's topic in Off-Topic
Wow you guys stay at home a lot o_O I wondered what normal people did during their summer (I don't exactly consider myself normal). Or maybe ur just a bunch of nerds and not normal people idk :) I don't think normal people just stare at a comp screen all day O:) I plan on staying home the least possible, since it completely bores me. I don't want to work either. I'm trying to think of something I could do to occupy my days. I do plan on doing a lot of workout before the winter strikes again, so maybe running outside. Can't do that 16 hours a day though  I'll go on vacations, and at my country house too, but apart from that I need to find something to do >< My friends don't want to know a hoot about me during the summer, so I guess I play loner or I make some new friends. -
Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
highlanders replied to Lunar_Drifter's topic in General Discussion
Way to back up your theory  . OT:Fletching is the 3rd most common cape (excluding quest cape which noone has the actual number to ). #2 is cooking with around 17,000 maxed players. #1 is strength at around 18,000. And that is what confuses me. People will make fun of my fletching cape as being nooby and unrespected when several THOUSAND more have 99 strength. It just desn't make any sense why strength is so much more respected and how it is not quote "over seen" or "too common". How come I can't bash people with 99 strength yet they can for my fletch? :? A str skillcape is much harder to gain than a cooking or feltching cape. Then why is strength the most common cape (with thousands more)? :? 99 str is most meleer's dream. A pure, a staker, a hybrid, it's a popular lvl 99. So many people raise strength higher than their other combat skills, I'm not surprised it's the most common 99 at all. Also, my bet is a lot of players that have now quitted are in the hs with 99 str. The 99 fletch and 99 cook outburst is pretty new however. Even with pc, it takes a long while for 99 str. While 99 cooking is pretty quick and painless, you just buy it and it's not expensive at all. -
Why Macros are HELPING the RS economy...
highlanders replied to flamingo5555555's topic in General Discussion
Macros = good for ressources buyers Macros = bad for ressources gatherers Most low levels do ressource gathering. So I'm guessing, good for high lvls, bad for lower lvls? Maybe, but even there, they don't make the prices fluctuate that much, the sharks was the only flashy event imo. -
*!* In RS, what do friends mean to you? *!*
highlanders replied to Tijger2099's topic in General Discussion
Heh I'm not good at making Rs friends, or any friends for that matter. -

Looks like additions that could be made to herblore and prayer, not need for a new skill. -
Combat triangle outdated and useless?
highlanders replied to Nazgul740's topic in General Discussion
mmmm triangle =P~ i love butter too =P~ =P~ i think the combat triangle is currently starting to even out with this release of the d bow Eww butter. I remember the last time I tasted it "raw" disgusting >.< Let's call it ice cream instead. :XD: But anyway I agree, the combat system of Rs is just bs. Now dark bow helps rangers a little, but all melee and mages have a lot more choice of good weapons/spells making them much more versatile than the rangers, it's still unfair. Jagex shud elaborate a new combat system, this one is junk >.>
