  1. Ok. Half the time, nothing typed. Placing a small portion of my hand on the keyboard got this: rtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvrtfgvr If you get nothing typed that's because you tried to press too many letters at a time. Don't try to type with haft of your keyboard. Try 4-5 letters, about the surface a cat's paw would cover. I get this: rtshshshshshshshshshshsh kljjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr The likelyhood of the cat pressing one letter at a time followed by the enter key every time: Zilch. We already covered that. Whichever letter has the most pressure takes over. It there are two paws on the keyboard, the cat could have pressed enter. Remember each paw covers a large keyboard area, the cat wouldn't have needed to be precise. Really, if you should question something is why the first thing he says is "Wahahahahaha", because that sounds like somebody insane ready to start typing random stuff. Notice how nowhere in the evidence does he mention the cat at all. Personally, I don't feel the need to talk about my cat's misbehaviours to strangers on internet. I don't see why he'd want to say that, nobody would have been interested.
  2. About that. When you're a newbie, levels come very easily, it just seems like each 5 minutes you can make new stuff and it's very exciting. You don't have to worry about exp rates or anything of the sort and just enjoy yourself. But when you get high level, that's when things start to become like work as you said. You need more and more exp exponentionally. There's a limit at how much fun you can have doing those repetitive actions. At which point, many people will just try to have fun completing goals since they cannot get any more fun from the skill itself. Since for instance, they get no more fun from fishing, they will just buy the fish and get 99 cooking, and they get enjoyment from completing their goal. It would really be great if we could really enjoy the skills we have as they are, but that isn't possible. When you've planted your first strawberries, ranarrs, trees, etc, well you've pretty much seen them all. When you've fished your first load of sharks, all the other ones after are going to be the same. All the excitement from the newbieness is gone. But it would help if ALL skills had good and interesting things to do at 90+, usually there isn't much to do after level 80.
  3. The truth is, that's a non-question, it can't be established. Your basically asking which capes should be universally considered respected. That cannot be achieved, because respect is something entirely human, there's no fact, nothing to base it on. When things are subjective, there is no good or wrong answer no matter how much you'd want to argue about your opinion being better. If you respect a cape or not is a personal opinion.
  4. Let's say teh cat's paws touches several letters. Whichever letter that has the most pressure on it will take over, try it. no, first all the letters of the keys hit are typed, then the one with the most pressure is typed. such as idfasghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Time for logic 101. That's because at that time "i" had the most pressure, followed by "d", "f", etc, when your fingers stabilized the weight stayed the same on letter "h". If you think otherwise, then prove to me how exactly the system chose the order of the letters typed if "all of the letters" are typed.
  5. Taken out of context like that, it's difficult to see where the quoted person is going, but there are more some thoughts going on there other than OMG I hate Jagex. Seems he is denouncing capitalism. Jagex is a company, and like all companies, they exploit people. That's what companies do by their nature. Everything we buy, somebody somewhere is making a profit on it. Companies even make money off of death. People go the supermarket and buy some food, usually something processed and highly marketed, or even trick labeled as healthy. After years of consuming poor food, people get health problems. They go buy some pills to treat the symptoms, and become addicted to them. After a while, they enter hospitals and get huge health bills, then they either die, or survive to die another day. That's basically the wheel of death right there. And meanwhile people seem to be looking for the "cure" to all those disease, dozens of different universities and establishments publish studies about certain health foods that prevent said diseases, this is like a parody or a sketch, but it's real and that's why it's so pathetic. Credit card companies go into colleges and universities to try and sell credit cards to clueless young adults. People are coaxed into a ton of beliefs of all sorts. Just now I can see a "Kraft singles sliced cheese" commercial on TV in which the company tries to make you believe their product contains calcium, and is thus healthy and good for growing kids. Of course, they don't mention that milk is pasteurized(thus all good nutrients killed) contains blood and pus, is made from cows stuffed with growth hormones and antibiotics, that cheese is filled with dangerous conservation agents, and that kraft singles cheese is barely even cheese to begin with. And that's just the tip of the iceberg of how screwed up capitalist society is. Taken all that into account, Jagex's wrong doings are really completely meaningless in the big picture, there are far worse things to be denoucing. As for why so many people hate Jagex for no reason: for the same reason some people love them unconditionally. Stupidity, and superego, you'll need some psychology background to understand why the later.
  6. Wow! Roleplay as argument. I give up! Obviously me and my familiar live in the same body permanently. I don't know where people get that "pouch" idea from :?: Oh wow, reading that I just realized that my idea of combat is simple minded and that I honestly dont realize theres more to combat than offence! Omg, I just noticed theres a defence level in melee! Thanks, it would have taken me atleast 3 more years to realize that without your help! Says who? Oh wait, right, you are God overlord Outsanity? Wow, I better watch out or Im going to get struck by lightning. :ohnoes:
  7. But wouldn't that mean that unless we're constantly attacking something our level isn't representing our true strength aswell, aru? :-k Exactly. Sorry, Highlanders, but your point is invalid. It contradicts itself, because if it were true, then I'd have to be fighting a monster 100% of the time I play Runescape for my combat level to really "Represent my strength." Oh, and by the way, when I say I have a familiar 90% of the time I play, I mean 90% OF THE TIME I PLAY. When i am in combat I have a familiar with me 100% of the time. No fail. End of story. End of point. Rofl, that's not the point :P Your melee, magic, prayer, and ranged levels are your own. While your summoning combat levels represent the strength of the combat familiars you could possibly use. That strength is not your own, but the familiar's, thus when your familiar is not summoned that strength is completely gone.
  8. The thing is, you are not always using a familiar. And when you aren't, your level doesn't represent your true strength. It's a conditional combat level, that doesn't mean anything most of the time.
  9. OMG friday 13th! All our characters got erased! Rofl
  10. Why don't you forget strength and attack, and just use magic or ranged? 99 magic/99 def, etc.
  11. RC your way up to enough money for 99 prayer? Idk, it's up to you.
  12. Not really, the good rewards are rare. Just do it if you enjoy it, but don't expect anything.
  13. The problem with that idea is that the population would be too spread out, and some craters would end up empty. Just take the current limit and learn to work with it at your advantage.
  14. ??? 1) Pick up cat 2) Put cat on floor 3)(optional) Pet cat If this is a joke it succeeded! Let's say teh cat's paws touches several letters. Whichever letter that has the most pressure on it will take over, try it.
  15. Course he can, silly. I'm sure, since he has obviously lost all his mind and manners, that he's going to have lots of fun spamming you with QC
  16. Heard that Yohbilleh? Apparently you play with no honesty, and civility, and you take away the enjoyment of others with vulgar language and other immature actions. Watch out, next thing you know you're going to be appointed as the reason for all the crap in the universe, you're even going to get into the dictionnary!
  17. ( \ /) ( ?_?) c( ")( ") Is this a prank?
  18. Muggi is right. It's not because you play by the rules in a video game that you are "superior" as a human being to someone who doesn't. If you think otherwise, that's a clear sign you are a geek.
  19. Which herbs give the best profit grown from seeds? Ranarrs?
  20. If you did the quest you'd know it had NOTHING to do with smoking-it was just a little play-on-words, aru I did the quest. And that's the point. It has nothing to do with smoking, yet Jagex felt the need to just put that in as title. It's simply inappropriate.
  21. Mostly obtainable through ttrails/monster drops. Chemises, which would come in black, white, and burgundy. [hide=][/hide] For default clothing - Sleeveless top: musclebound and normal [hide=][/hide] Metal boots, with a gold, silver or silver/gold plate. [hide=][/hide] T-shirt with straps, Y shaped in the back. [hide=][/hide] All sorts of coats. Long coats, matrix coats, etc.[hide=][/hide] Black armour red-trimmed. [hide=][/hide] Rate the idea(not the drawing) based on how much you like it. Chemises: x/10 Sleeveless top: x/10 Metal boots: x/10 T-shirt with straps: x/10 Coats: x/10 Red-trimmed blk: x/10
  22. The world would be an easier place to live in if everybody agreed with eachother -_- But well... that's not about to happen. People riot because of the whole forcefulness of the situation with RWT. It isn't like rioting about idk, the dragon pickaxe, demanding for one. Jagex took away vital parts of the game: merchanting, staking, the wilderness, and free trade, it's not a walk in the part. People are asking for the wilderness back, or some of form of modified wilderness to atleast make up for what Jagex removed. It's not too much asked. Wether or not the riots are effective, well if you ask me any publicity, good or bad, is good anyway. Jagex only has to lose if they refuse to listen to the opinion of the players.
