  1. I was expecting a lot better perks out of the high level familiars. They are a bunch good for combat, but for skills, it's just horrible. It looks like a really fun skill, but if you ask me, it lacks a point and a real way to level it up. I just don't get it, it's as if Jagex had just spent all their time making a ton of familiars, yet had forgotten to just give a proper use to the skill. And the way summoning is trained with pouches - it's just a huge turnoff for me.
  2. Because humans must absolutely be 100% perfect at all times right? You wanna know something interesting? A lot of people spend a lot of energy into trying to be perfect at all times and spend a lot of time scrutinizing what others do, in order to find something that they can critizise. So much that in western society, you cant make a human error without tons of people annoying you, or sometimes you even getting annoyed for doing things that aren't even errors. At work, at school, at home, everywhere and all the time. This puts people under tremendous stress. But there's a way to get out of this, and that's to not give a damn about what other people think and want.
  3. Other people's achievements do not lessen your own achievements you know There just are lots of people ready to waste hours and hours on this game X|
  4. You got good taste for formats ;o Name: sushie lee Tarimokaru (You can't prove that's not my name ;p) Cb: 12 ;( Mage warrior or range: magikz + sword = magical sword :D Profession: professionnal fisher and cooker ? MINIGAME: That's a tuffie.... I like all of them Now what do I do? Oh ya, p2p
  5. Yes and there is billion and billions of tiny food crumbs that get into my keyboard >.
  6. No doubt clans in Runescape don't survive. There is a chat for groups of people to chat into, but there is no REAL clan or guild system, nothing tangible to support clans. 'Clan' chat is just a silly name Jagex came up with to make it look like there actually was a clan system, but there is none, it's just some silly chatroom that you can get in or out of as you please. It wouldn't have been much harder to make it into a real guild system instead of a make-believe one; high requirements and cost to make a guild(so that there isn't a billion of noobish guilds, but a fewer bigger ones); logo and name on top of your username(optional, but nice to have), a little of space where the leader can write things about the guild for newbies to learn(Like: 'Fishing clan, come fish with us at world 76! No flamming between members. Have fun!), a money-support system(clan members donate money to level up guild or buy special guild thingies), etc..
  7. I lost mine, is there a way to get them back in nardah?
  8. It would help if they added more uses to it, to justify the high leveling cost. It has a couple of nice uses, but most of it is just to make the house look better, and has a useless use or no use at all.
  9. I don't think that's a problem at all. Just think back at your newbie days, there was a lot of things you didn't know, but you just learned them a piece at a time right? And now look where you are now, it wasn't that hard now was it? Even if a kid is 12 years old, I don't see what could stop him or her to learn the game, they just need some reading skills and a little willingness to read the knowledge base or fansites, then it's just a question of time before they figure it all out.
  10. I'm installing a new computer, and there is a problem with the display properties. Basically, the color wont go any higher than 8 colors, the screen is set at 600 x 800 and wont bulge either. It is a computer with XP and a good monitor so it can go much higher than that. I've tried to do what windows troubleshooting says to do, but the computer does not let me update the new monitor pilot, atleast not in the way explained. The video card is good enough to display much better than that, atleast it should, since it displays applications like internet explorer perfectly. Do you know how to fix this problem?
  11. Is it possible to get another one if I have dropped mine?
  12. Yes, its the best part, then it goes downhill. It's even better if it is your first mmorpg ever, then everything is really new.
  13. I find it pretty pathetic that the option "Just to have fun" isn't even there. I guess for most people, Runescape is a kind of second work huh?
  14. I don't really see the use of making them 'learn the ropes' when every information they could be looking for is explained in the knowledge base with more detail. If you want them to be independant, teach them how to use the knowledge base. Good luck finding a serious newbie though. You'll get "Can i hav more plz?" from most of them.
  15. Definitively yes I think for most people, quitting Runescape means deciding to become someone in real life, to go to another stage your life. Personally, I'll tell you how my brain works in mmorpgs. My brain wants things. When it has obtained what it wants in the game, then it has a sudden total disinterest of the game and I quit. Because for my brain, that means he succeded at the game, and he can go away with no regrets now. In Runescape, this thing I want is to get a partyhat back. I used to have one years ago, but I sold it, and now I realise my error. Then when I get my partyhat, then Rs will become really just a game for me. I'll play for adventuring, I will be in peace. Working on my rc now, and I don't intend to give up until I get this darned partyhat and can move on.
  16. I guess it makes sense. I would like a little pet to help me with my runecrafting, if there's one. But again, then I'd have to train summoning, and I got the hunch I really won't like that skill. I hope my hunch is wrong though.
  17. I'm happy about the new quest, I was just thinking that I'd like to have another one of those egyptian-like quests with ruins and temples.
  18. It is not that f2ps are more greedy, it is that the p2ps know your offer is either a lie, or some junky items/money they have no use for. Put simply, they wouldn't bother. P2ps and f2ps are basically the same people, except p2ps pay for the game, and are generally more experienced in the game. But really, it's the same people.
  19. Well, before deciding, I'd try every possible way I could to get out of there. If I fail, door B without a doubt. Room A is insanity. Seriously, a robot looking like any person you want that comes naked? That's just twisted; insanity is garanteed. And if you can't handle it anymore, you can't even kill yourself.
  20. Jagex has to fix that, it's just stupid to send randoms to a place where the players can't answer to it.
  21. My closest aunt is obsessed with costco. And of course, her gift to me was from it, as always. One of the sweaters they sell there :S But I appreciate it since she took the time to look for it, buy it and give it to me, but no way in hell I'm wearing that. My most useless gift this year would have to be candle holders.
  22. I'm actually trying some Chopin :o It's relaxing.
