Speaking as both a merchanter and a skiller, i'll approach from two views. To as skiller this might seem like a dream come true, merchanters supposedly disappearing and more money for the skiller. Or is it? Think about it...now all the high level players who make masses of items can expose their trades to the entire RS world. Meaning, high level players who don't care about money will sell super cheap, in huge masses, like hundreds of thousands even, making it impossible to make a decent profit skilling. As a merchanter i wouldn't care less if the update existed or not. There's always money to be made in any society, especially since i expect the grand exchange will have autowins, and not a bidding system. So, some unknowing player puts up 1k coal for 150 ea, BAM, 50k easy profit for the first to complete the trade. Fools will always be parted with their money one way or another. BTW, its easy to buy a decent amount of low priced products, but its harder to buy or sell masses, the grand exchange just completely boosts that aspect for "merchanters", who now reach out to thousands at once, some of whom are bound to just go for the 1 quick trade and not wait hours to complete 100. The economy always recovers from everything, the grand exchange won't be different.

Its clearly very well thought out, I absolutely love the detail and effort you've put into this. The one flaw I could find though is that the rewards are extremely high for something that spawns so quickly. Look at hunter for example and the dragon imps: the drops are worth a lot but they're extremely rare and not always good. I'd try to balance it out a little bit more with the rest of the RS world. But other than that its amazing! Great Work you have my support ;)

I agree 100% with the article, we could all go for some humility once in a while. That's by far the dumbest thing i've ever heard, you don't have to experience something to understand it completely, and how about PAST members eh? Think your thoughts through before you post them carelessly. P2P get forums because they pay for them, thats the only reason why.

Just a little something I finally got today :) Pure F2P, mostly all alching, have about 2m more mage xp banked just for fun. Rate/Hate/???? Thx to Sina J for getting me a pwnage level up \ (missed the gratz message...)

He's f2p atm...posted it like....4 times lol Huge gratz and keep it up :)

Pretty nice combat, but the fact that you PCed brings it down a bit...7/10, 8/10 once you get 99 def, 9/10 when you get 99 HP ^.^ 10/10 if you get some of your non-cb stats Overall still quite an accomplishment keep it up!

Runescape as we know it would not exist without f2p. However low you may think of us, for whatever absurd reason, we are the ones who provide most of the raw material of the entire RS-economy, and make up the majority of active players. Who honestly wants to mine iron ore, when there are other choices available in p2p that allow for millions (of GP) to be made in mere minutes?

Considering just the sheer rarity of pure f2p 99's, i don't think its too much to ask. I'm not a member for many reasons and I'll tell you for sure, I'm not going to become one just for a stupid cape I EARNED already. (Well I'll have one earned very soon ;))

love the outfit and the stats :) flaming anyone for their achievements is just lame, especially if they're as leet as yours ;P makes me lol irl when i see noobs constantly come back to flame your riches infinity/10 :) EDIT: who says one must be modest, some people like to gloat about what they've accomplished and theres nothing wrong with that, live with it or just ignore it.
