Agreed. It would be a lot better to ban them instantly so they don't have the opportunity to sell and cash out. A ban is worthless once they actually make all their money.. That is a lot of money involved though, I am quite impressed, actually.. (Not in a good way.)

Quyneax is right but forgot one other portion, it's also due to which players want Nex gear (supply and demand) supply is low because it's difficult to hunt nex, and the drops are rare. But if no one wanted it, it wouldn't be nearly as expensive simply because no one would buy it. If 90 lvl gear is released, nex will go down simply because people who have it will sell and buy the new gear (or sell and obtain the new gear if it's from something like player owned ports)

Barrows should be weaker than GW gear. GW gear is a lot more expensive, and requires a lot more work. Without the other bonuses (like ranged attack, mage attack, mage % dmg, or str bonus) it becomes useless. It would have the same stats as the other armors and only value being non-degrade. I liked when it was lv75 tier, it was nice to have all those tiers exist.

They mentioned PVP areas would show combat, I imagine it's the same areas that the Solomon Store items disappear. That would be the simplest solution.. Also, I like that their beta updates seem to be getting better over time, now. I am more excited that I was that they will manage to create something good.

Not to mention his farming money calculation is misleading because many factors change profit values of herbs (jujus, auras, remote farm, quests) which increase profit drastically. Plus you should do trees and herbs, (and maybe allotments as well) which he didn't mention. You want to compare not just maximise profit and xp within a skill but look at how other skills compare. If you are looking at efficiency disregarding other skills that leads to odd conclusions.

I have no idea what I'm worth. I'd guess around 200-250m in items + another 50m in gp right now. I have a lot of money I spent in skills, though. I have never had more than 50m cash though. I spend it too fast.

I am excited about the hair, if it goes live, but I have a sinking feeling it won't be in the live version of the models, and will be a while before it comes out.. it does look nice and more detailed though

I agree with Makoto, there is too much grind to get back up, and it would only be fun for those at the top or who are in large clans.

Let's hope the final result is a bit more improved (once all the animations are in place). They shouldn't have pushed the EoC model to live game yet though... that much was obvious before.

I think that could be interesting. I would very much enjoy a proper jagex equivalent of runetrack with the fancy graphs especially if they have that data going back farther. It would be nice to be able to see update for individual characters as well as for as see the highscores of the past. (Even if they don't have the data, just being able to start storing the data would be nice!) Runetrack sort of works right now if both players are on the tracker services you can look up their history (as long as they were being tracked from that long ago..)
