  4. This character was from back when there were no highscores, long before members, and when there were not that many worlds. However I've taken several hiatus breaks inbetween then and now... Sadly I don't have the actual account creation date. Definitely before the wilderness, so that's before August 13th, 2001. I probably started a month or two before. I remember when there was only 3-4 worlds. Alas I was 13 and didn't keep better records.
  5. They didn't give us any new real information about the update yet. I think a lot of those other changes are minor, though 101 summoning is interesting (pleeaaaaaseee don't make that a 120 sum update >.> I stopped getting charms after 99)
  6. Wait till after the 250k xp lamp and 5k more loyalty months (that's 1/3 of a "full points" month..) Wasn't the 250k exp from an item? I do like extra loyalty points though. :P I don't care much for experience. I already have above level 100 in 23/25 skills. (If you're referring to future 'mad months', I misunderstood your post.) I'm saying that saying you aren't glad if you had only purchased membership because it was mad may, you should wait until all the rewards are out. Though I suppose you already know those rewards so its not really that difficult.

Before they do that one would hope they ACTUALLY give us some constitution stuff since the whole point was to be able to have pots etc effect the skills (opposed to life points) to give more long-term boosts. Thought I suppose they may be counting torva etc as that since that is what it does, just invisible boost. The invisible boost wasn't really possible while the skill was linked to the current value. Also there was one quest boss that lowers hp level over time. That was interesting.
  8. We don't need the truncation. However they should've desynced the lvl and the counter at the same time as HP. That way all skills work consistently. No more "can't boost draining skills" or "boosts to draining skills go down slowly over time, and can't let you use higher lvl requirements". I would prefer them to update the truncation but its not necessary with summoning because summoning drains so much slower and isn't really useful in itself (it's more of just a timer of how long you have left till you can't summon, and used by a few but not many familiar abilities, since most use the familiar spec bar)

  12. That would be seriously cool. You can buy different "fires" ,= towers, with the points you earn per kill/round, which correlate to your skill level. I *really* want this....
  13. But... google "runescape dusty key" and you'll get 5 websites with answers?!?! This is 2012, not 1998. People should know how to perform a simple websearch.
  14. The reasoning is that it isn't possible to remove them. That means if a newb adds the dragon pickaxe they can't resell it anymore so they might ragequit at the perma-lost 10m gp or whatever the cost is. While I would love to be able to add pickaxes (especially at least rune) I don't think Jagex will change their mind.
  15. I think the voice acting was a lot better, but the quest plot for One Piercing Note was a little better. I want to see more voice acted quests for higher levels. Low level quests, even if they have good plot, never feel as epic, because the adventurer didn't really have to do much.
  16. I'll try a few meds on 20-35 :) I know they should be quite common, I saw several near their release, but at the time I wasn't very far into the occult floors yet so I did a lot more Abd2 floors.

Now that the raw fish stack, c2 fishing is great :) For semi-afk, I would suggest the fly fishing at shilo.. but really barbarian alch fishing is a lot faster xp. @Explain, those sort of sound like XP rates for lv99 fishing, I never quite got that high fly fishing or barbian low alch fishing on my way to 91.
  18. Would doing them in c1s be ok? I haven't seen many forgotten mages in the floors I generally 5:5 (maybe because there are more necros on occults than forgotten mages?) Thanks.
  19. I got over 500 kills before I ever saw the Decaying Avatar from Nomad's quest. That was before the updates and fixes though.. Also, if you open rewards and click on the gloves ones, it should display a chat message with the bosses you need left in order to unlock that pair. :)
  20. Quick aside question: What's the best way to find a surge box? I haven't seen any recently and I broke mine for cosmics when I was trying a bunch of c2 fishing (just before the dungeon update.. Missed out on stackable fishies) Ever since I've wanted to replace it again and I haven't found one..

  24. What I don't want to see is a boss you *have* to kill for 3-4hrs straight if you want a chance at profiting. Basically I would prefer it be closer to bossing for 1-2hrs and then your profit is close to average. I dislike the swing of large value drops because you can't depend on luck. If they do this via increasing overall normal drop values, or by decreasing how often you can fight... You are right though, I don't really want to see a daily D&D style fight, because there are plenty of things on a daily timer already.
  25. What gp/hr time value are you assuming? I'm saying that if you have the tokens anyways, the xp gained isn't that much (1/10th the speed of doing dungeons). So lets assume 2m gp/hr base. That means a rapier recharge is going to take 1hr of time. But if we assume you are going to have surplus tokens anyways, (already value dg time) then it costs 0 time, but at the expense of (assuming 100k dg xp/hr) 1/10th of an hr. Obviously I don't know what gp/hr or xp/hr and whether you care about dungeon xp or not. If you don't care about getting more dungeon xp, then it's 2hrs based on 100k dg/xp an hr (which I assume is very slow). But if you're using tokens on xp then you clearly value dungeon xp already, hence I feel like having some tokens for a recharge is valuable. It entirely depends on how much xp/hr you get while dg, and how much gp/hr you can make comfortably. Personally I plan on doing a bit of both once I have all the other rewards: keep around a pile of 40-60k tokens for chaotics recharges, then spend tokens on xp whenever I have extra on top of that :)
