Runespan Recolour
Wrong. It charges 2000 pts for every item equipped flat cost, not per item.

Recharging Rapier
I'd say until you have all the dg rewards (assuming you want all of them) then don't use tokens. After you have bought them, use tokens because you don't really need them for anything, and wasting tokens on xp is really silly.

Future Update Discussions
Well, that's the way it's gonna be anyway from what I understand, so should be fine. I actually found out later that night that I was confusing the RuneCast video and the BTS video. (I seriously thought everyone was talking about that silly community video).. Derp. I watched the BTS video now, and actually really enjoyed it. I still want a text BTS, but I love how this seems to be weekly, that is neat :)

Bonfires
I would love more cross-skill non-combat related bonuses along the lines of extreme potions but not for combat. (Rather than adding yet more things needed to be 100% at combat). I like the ideas of roasted sharks and so on (where you can roast a shark on a high lvl fire if you have higher cooking and so on). I think things like the agility double/quadruple steals except more visible.

200M in all Skills
In other words it's only going to work well if you have runners?

qbd 100% drop?
Honestly: I would prefer a timer like 4-12hrs, but give same average but better loot each time. (So that way an individual kill is worth more, but the avg profit/loot per hour is the same). I Absolutely hate that you have to boss for several hours in order to get a small chance at being lucky. I would rather see it be where you can't camp her, but still have similar chances overall.

Runescape Behind the Scenes Queen Black Dragon Breakdown and Analysis Video
Yes. Good PVMers can almost always do them easier than jagex said, but even high levels who are bad at PVM can't do some of the "high level" PVM things (Jad/Kiln) regardless of how 'easy' someone else might find it.

Future Update Discussions
I found most of the video boring and useless information I didn't care about. It is harder to sift through video for things I am interested in than doing the same for text. I would rather have the videos and BTS :) (Rather than just the videos)

Upcoming combat changes
This means that all members will have beta access after the 26th, before the full release, but not f2p. It's simple. But this is jagex, so lets wait and see.

Possible second bot nuke already?
There is some evidence if you have had highscore tracking running, (although it would be better if the tracker updated every 6 hrs or less) because botting would generally appear to be playing more often instead of at times normal for a player (people who bot tend to leave the bot running when they don't want to play). However, making up statistics is no good. Please provide tangible evidence. (Innocence until proven guilty.) You can't assume that *everyone* tells the truth, but you also can't assume everyone is lying. I can't use my runetrack data often for gaining ranks because of bannings, mainly because I tend to gain xp in most skills fairly often, so I don't see the rank gains without the xp gain.

18-5-2012 The Evolution of Combat: Beta Sign-Up
I think it would be cool if the magic spells instead of being "cast" actually turned you into an elemental and you would then kick/punch/throw fireballs at them or something like that ;) Either that or its a new ability for magic/some other skill.

Bonfires
OMG! I would <3 a tower defense minigame.

Tip.It Times - 13 May 2012
I don't agree with the reasoning but that is what Jagex said. I would like to see up to rune (no dragon at least not for pickaxes) then again, dragon pickaxes would mean they get perma removed from the economy which means that they have slightly more upwards price pressure. That would be neat.

Tip.It Times - 13 May 2012
Adding pickaxe's to the toolbelt would be cool but we already know why they said no otherwise. The reason is because in the overland you can always go get a pickaxe. In dg, the pickaxe is not buyable and you waste resources to obtain it (plus there was zero reason for primal pickaxe at all) They could easily make the toolbelt work in overland like how it does in dg, but they chose not too. The other large reason is because they don't want people to put dragon pickaxe etc in by accident and never be able to get it out.

Upcoming combat changes
Some combat styles might be interesting as well. Maybe an upgrade for defensive stances that give much higher defense at the cost of offensive power? Assuming they make higher levels of PVE actually require defense, that is. The problem with this is that defence (currently) only impacts hit rate, it is basically dodge, not lowering damage. So even at 10,000 defense stats, Jad can still nearly 1hit you becuase hits attacks hit so high when they land. This is something that is difficult to fix in the game engine, and they tried (miserably failed) with damage soak, which doesn't work because it has no impact on most hits, and things like divine and elysian are both very good but incredibly expensive.

Upcoming combat changes
I wouldn't mind being able to queue up actions, and set up some macro-like deals for automatic swapping (ala move to claws, switch styles, spec, spec, move back to regular weapon) or like in dg swap between mage and melee without having to move aorund 2 items + set autocast. Unlikely to be that. Probably just a bunch of special effects. It could be very interesting though :)

Bonfires
The grind is necessary to separate achievements by a measure of time. However I do agree that they could do much to remove the repetitiveness. You can't remove the time factor without ruining the game as a huge portion of the design is based around how long things take. But do more things like slayer and dungeoneering where there is variety. More like minigames (but don't make them into dead content, like moblising armies) They have to have intuitive control schemes, and useful rewards. Of course the problem is that human nature is to maximise the desired goal, while the game designer's nature is to maximise fun. A player doesn't tend to think about what is fun, but rather what is the end goal. And it's *not their job* to do that. The game designer needs to figure out what's fun, and make the objectives match up with that. Don't fight human nature, ride along with it. Dungeons are a great example: many (ofcourse not all) people find it incredibly enjoyable and not super repetitive. (Of course you find the overall aspect repetitive because you have to do it x number of times and so on, but its a lot less repetitive than bonfires for example) Quests are great, but lack repeatability.

Some questions
Call of the Sea (any %increase skill aura) is best on a high attempt low success method (rocktails, gemstalls) because the % bonus is additive to the base success rate, rather than multiplicative (so a catch rate of 9% because a catch rate of 12-19%) which is a much larger increase than the listed "3%" appears to be. According to data I've read, at rocktails with the highest (T4) aura the xp/hr goes up to about 100k/hr (although that is at 99..) COT depends on what you're catching a lot, and it's probably not that great for stuff like barbarian low-alch fishing. I would prioritize on getting greenfingers first :)

Fastest runespan pts/hr
There isn't a lot of data, but I think the creatures are much better for pts/hr, as they don't move. You get a lot more xp/rune when doing things like living souls, but you get the same pts/rune at soul esswraiths, I also think you get more runes/hr at soul esswraith but I am not sure, and have no data for lv99. I would try to just camp the wraiths, for about an hr each and record inventory points before after. Get a few examples in. :) Help remove the current lack of data.

Corporeal Beast defence level?
Damage isn't based on the target's defense. Only whether you hit or miss (and any special abilities involved)
-
Runespan, Bonfires and Current Goals
I agree. Sure, runespan made runecrafting easier, but in reality any lv99 takes tremendous amounts of dedication and time. Sure some take more than others, but that is always shifting. I really disliked the curly roots because it was so annoying to chop all those roots as they randomly moved around. Gogogo :)

Still on my way to 70+
Lots of good progress. I always found it enjoyable to mix things up. Sadness over dislike of farming (that's one of my favorite skills, although it is very slow!) Without the Korasi's sword iron dragons are a pain, but once you have a decent 1h stab weapon they are very fun :) I suggest going for quests though as they are enjoyable :) Good luck! HYT is always good times.
