  1. We have a lot more communities that focus on efficient gameplay with hordes of data that back them up. I sometimes wonder if Jagex has the same data collected... They don't seem to act like it.
  2. I don't believe summoning potions sell very fast. I usually have to pay way over the price to buy 1, demand isn't very high, but no one makes them. Also, consider that you can't easily buy the wergali herbs quickly, as, once again the supply isn't very high. I think you can get 92 with that, but honestly I don't know. Try using a calculator to figure supplies then assume 10% higher than the market price (to give some leeway)
  3. I absolutely prefer BA. But it isn't really any faster, unless (like me) you discount the time playing BA somewhat. For me, 1hr of agility feels like forever, where as 1hr of BA is enjoyable and fun. If you wanna BA for xp rates, a good team with lv5 roles is a must. As is doing only 6 waves instead of all 10. I would suggest giving BA a try, but don't give up on it super fast. It is annoying at first in a lot of ways, but good teams make all the difference.
  4. I'm glad the (g) sets are being updated! They will look amazing
  5. I actually like equilibrium. It makes your actual hits closer to your average damage hit, so you hit a lot fewer low numbers, at the expense of a lower max. As far as I can tell though average dmg per hit is about the same.
  6. I prefer melee with ovl and turmoil over pps with overloads. But I do not have augery, so I don't know. Even if I did, the headache of swapping prayer books is semi annoying.
  7. I think Meetu's answer is correct. Possibly only allow decanting by automatically filling it to 6 from vials to begin with (So initial decant you have to have at least 6 doses in your inventory)
  8. I like Strilmus's idea. That's basically how I see it. It is also clean. (Can't have more than 6 doses per stack while in the inventory, but 1 slot in bank). Then you can see how many doses you have left, AND the stack size in the inventory works better. (Size of stack is number of doses rather than an addition to the name.). Also, it AUTOMATICALLY decants in the bank because all the bulbs/doses go into one thing. I don't see them doing it this way though.
  9. The problem with inflation is that the same people get all of the money, rather than everyone getting more. I would rather have more "income" methods that promote consistent gains vs boss fights with random drops where you *might* get lucky. Glacors might AVERAGE 3m/hr, but that doesn't mean you get 3m for spending 1hr there. (Or 1m for spending 20 minutes)... You have to spend enough hours to get a good drop. Not all of us are max combat with the best gear, and all that. And the people that ARE max combat don't always have the money to throw around on high lvl gear. Not everyone can get 1-2m/hr... The gear drop rates are so ridiculously small that the best shields and armors are not game changing for the majority of players because we don't get them. I am not against providing top gear for rich players. Aside from dice hosts, they've generally earned it. I am sick of how Jagex claims it will be game changing for everyone else though.
  10. I would imagine that the best solution is to allow the decanter guy to fill flasks up to 6 via notes, or provide a nice instant system for it. Then, once full you can decant spare doses into VIALS but cannot decant vials into partially filled flasks once its been drank from. This way, you can save doses, but can NEVER refill flasks. This implies flasks will break on decanting or final dose drinking. Other option is to allow flasks to be filled but only by other flasks, excepting the initial decant of 6 doses into it. This way you can decant, but you don't save flasks because the other flask must still be destroyed.
  11. I keep thinking about the flasks, and wondering how much to spend trying to get to 90 crafting :o I really wanna be able to make my own.
  12. Wow so task master just checks task count?? Wow.. that is... er.... bit of a simple flaw in implementation.... :wall:
  13. I would put them towards skills you still want levels in, and if both, then the skill which you least enjoy. This could be either because of time or cost, or simply disliking certain skills.
  14. If they release higher lv auras I hope they also release more ways to get loyalty points or up the max pts/month
  15. I like Equilibrium, because although it might not have an effect on the correct average assuming all hit values are equal, it makes your actual/perceived damage rate higher. It also has a slight bonus against monsters that you over hit because you can't over hit them by as much. I found equilibrium very fun at easy slayer monsters like gargoyles and greater demons.
  16. I agree with Paul. I see Lumbridge more than I see Burthorpe
  17. I would LOVE this. I hate losing 40mins-1hr just to die at jad too quickly before he even gets on screen. I just want a way to get better at knowing his attacks, so that I have a much better chance while fighting him in the caves.
  18. Get the polypore staff and have a friend with 80 farming assist you to repair it...
  19. You can also try dg with friends. I would do some smalls that I normally c1 with you if you want. But finding teams on the theme world you really need to be around lv60-70
  20. Try farming herbs for $$$
  21. Several of the top clans want tier7 citadels... But you are right, they need more actual content... I myself enjoy the loyalty stuff. Lots of little minor awesome customizations. I like how you can't have everything (yet) so its nice to have long term goals for points and more self-customization.
  22. I'm with Kaida on this... If they are back, it isn't nearly as bad as before (yet). I haven't seen too many.. Though there are lots of bot-like players at some popular locations. It is still possible they're real people gold-farming... (unlikely, true)
  23. Statistics can easily be manipulated to a person's advantage. However well formed statistical analysis is useful for some understanding. The birthday paradox is real, and easy to show. If you don't understand the graphs, charts, or data study or get help. If it doesn't match with well known studies or proper mathematical rigor and form, then dismiss it. But don't just dismiss statistics because someone misused them. The world is full of many science and math problems which are not intuitive. Intuition is a process that solves many common problems, but does not work in many situations. It isn't evidence. If you don't trust the math, run a simulation picking effigy/birthday combinations at random and figure out how common at least two being the same is.
  24. I like the idea of jad without prayer swapping.... :) i will have to try this.
  25. Before you get a torso, i would level up all the roles to lv5 so that you can finish ba much more easily. The game is quite fun and enjoyable to me though so your millage may vary...
