I'm level 53 prayer and its by far the slowest skill I have to train. I cannot really set aside any cash to pay for bones, so I need to be totally self-sufficent. What is the best way for me to train my prayer to hopefully level 60? Thanks

Grats 7/10 I got my level of 55 on f2p and that was boring, are you using cabbage and fally teles? Now go for 66 for 7x and get some nice cash to go with your level :thumbsup:

I am essentially doing the exact same thing as you : So I did smoking kills quest so i could access the slayer rewards, and I'm doing a combination of Spiders in the Stronghold and Slayer Tasks.....and I'm finding it quite fun :) Add me if you got any other questions or just wanna have a chat lol 100+ jellies can get quite boring..... I probably won't play alot, as I haven't been playing much of recent, but I do hope to get all skills 60+ and all F2P Skills 70+....Hopefully this will make me look a more respectable player...oh and 100+ combat F2P would be good.

I definately felt that the logout timer was a very big hinderence, I couldn't even a whole forum post in the time it took for me to log out, so hopefully this update will be a great help for me and my poor interent connection.

I've been playing RS since about two weeks after the scythe drop hallowe'en event in 2004(?) but have had around 5 accounts, 3 to level 90+ (back in the days pre-pc when level 100+ was considered very good) so i havent really got much to show for it. I am now level 75 on my current f2p account Cheap Mark. I was wondering what do F2Pers do for a bit of fun? I'm getting rather bored of RS tbh and was wondering if anyone had any ideas what to really do next?

Try Fally Bank - cabbage - air altar - fally teleport, and repeat for insanely fast exp. I definatwly think that this is one of the most useful updates for F2P.....i never take it off it is just so useful...I still do need to try it for lobster fishing though.

I basically quit after the wildy nerf last year. I did go on a few times to check out some of the updates, but apart form that nothing. When I saw that they would be releasing new pvp-worlds i thought to myself that this would be a fun thing to do, so i created a new account, and I am currently working on making it a completely self-reliant pker. It just a case of finding stuff you find fun (i.e. for me its skilling (fishing and wcing mainly) and pking). Hope that helps

Isn't the point of a skill whatever the player decides for himself? If all he wants to RC for is to play a minigame, so be it. If all he wants to RC for is cash, so be it. If all he want to RC for is to create is own runes so he doesn't have to buy them from stores or get them as drops, so be it. There is no real POINT of any skill in runescape, the main idea of runescape is that the player does what the player wants to, not what the creators of the game wanted them to do, it's for this reason that I fell in love with the game in the first place, and i'm sure many others have too.

I was wondering if there was a designated Great Orb Project world in F2P or is it just world 1 gathering of people there?

You could sell them or just keep them for when you need to tele, or you could do some fast air crafting, by using the explorer's ring 3 cabbage patch teleport, walk to altar, and the fally tele to the bank and repeat. That would give you a useful way of using your laws, a possibly get you some profit at the same time. Hope that helps you.

I'm guessing jagex will nerf this problem soon enough if it persists and becomes an annoyance/completely ruins the game for people that are actually there to play it (much like when they first nerfed Pest Control about a week after release when they added the 'zeal' idea, or when they changed the boat levels because the large amount of low levels (pures) were ruining it for the higher levels). There is no way, i'd imagine, that Jagex will let this happen for much longer if they are the same jagex i've known for three years..... EDIT: Is it morally wrong? hell no it's bloody intelligent, I wish i still had a members account......

If you don't need to ick up your arrows definately try the guards at the black knights stronghold, the exp is insanely fast. That or fleshies in the security stronghold, either of those two are great exp at your level.

I personally think that they should have thoguht of this idea sooner, and implemented it when they removed the old wildy. That way pkers wouldn't complain of lack of PvP and Skillers wouldn't complain at a loss of a market. But this is a very large update, and it takes time to implement these things so I think it is going to be exactly what Runescape needs to either boost it back to what it used to be, or, do one better, and increase its user-base to greater levels than before.

Was just wondering if using the ring would make airs faster to craft if used to teleport from fally bank to patch, walk to the altar, craft the airs, and then walk back. I was wondering this to see if it was worth doing the achievement diary. Thanks, Cheap Mark

whilst screamo and metal are two totally different genres, you should definately check out "bullet for my valentine", theyre not has heavy as some of the bands others have mentioned, but theyre certainly good.

I actually just came back from a 4 month break, and even though it has chaned incredibly, i'm enjoying it even more than I did 4 months ago.

I was wondering what you guys thought was the most useful update this year. I personally think that it is the grand exchange. It makes selling and buying stuff so much easier.
