  1. Wait for it... WAIT FOR IT... OH HELLZ YEA
  2. Got this a few days ago, but haven't posted it here yet... EDIT: Just got this:
  3. So I've not been taking many photos lately, and finally I decided to go out and take a few. Came back with one that I liked, and the other one is bearable.
  4. Come back to Brisvegas, Tim. I have too many chick friends and need to give them distractions.
  5. HAI GUISE HOPE YOU DON'T MIND IF I HIPSTER UP THIS THREAD A LITTLE
  6. DSLR shoulder rigs cost ~$2,000? I'll pay for one over my dead body. Tripod = cheap shoulder rig.
  7. Finished it a while ago. I'm looking for those combat boosting areas....
  8. Just spent $210 on a summer jacket & jeans. NO REGRETS. ...AND NO FOOD FOR THE NEXT 2 WEEKS. (it would be nice if this could be indexed in place of picture B :^_^: )
  9. It's been too long since my last photo. :P
  10. Why on Earth would you want to break your body?
  11. Did you edit them? The originals of these photos look like absolute [cabbage]. Only after exposure decreases, contrast increase, shadow manipulated, gradient exposure & contrast, white balance and some other changes was I able to get the photos looking like they do now. Before editing, they look plain gray.
  12. With film, there is more information in the highlights than in the shadows; this is the opposite of digital. Therefore, while you expose for highlights and develop for shadows with digital, you should aim to expose for shadows and develop for highlights with film.
  13. [spoiler=26 photos, 1024x683] ^Gay Pope and a Christian protester. ^A Christian protester got covered in glitter. ^ ">Implying" The guy with the video camera is another Christian protester. ^Lesbian non-legal marriage. Apparently the Pope/Bishop is a marriage celebrant. ^Blocking the face of a Christian protester. ^Someone jumps in front of a Christian protester's video camera. Only 2 of these images are cropped. Full set here: Video here:
  14. Wow, why the hell didn't I think of exposing the foreground? Too late now, I deleted the RAWs (Yeah, silly me, but I really don't have the space to accomodate and I saw this as a test shot.) I didn't use a remote shutter, I had my camera hooked up to my laptop and my laptop was doing the clicking. I initially set it up to take 480 shots (4 hours) but the battery died at 434 shots. EDIT: Oh wait, I remember why I didn't expose the foreground. There's a gradient exposure decrease running from the bottom up, so an increase in exposure to the foreground in one shot would result in an increase in exposure to the entire bottom half of the shot.
  15. Thanks guys :-D Now that I know how to do these, I plan on hiring a 10mm and staying over at my dad's farm -- rural mountains with epic non-light polluted sky? Yesplz. Anyway, I edited the 90-shot one. It's brighter, has more visible stars and I removed the green flare that was really annoying me.
  16. 434 shots, 400 ISO, f/4, 3hrs 38 mins Video timelapse of all frames: [spoiler=From the same photos, 90 shots] So basically I took 434 shots at 30 seconds each, and compiled them together to create this composite image.
  17. Yeah, baby! Also, finally an incentive to start doing this Livid crap.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi2vBW80qKo Stole tintin's map idea, made it slightly bigger and added... well, yeah.
