  1. I knew I should have asked for an opinion before I went scissor-crazy. Oh well, it'll grow back.
  2. So I took a look at my hair, rushed to the bathroom and went at it with a pair of scissors for 5 minutes. Before: Becomes this with a bit of manipulation(same hair length as previous pic): After cutting: Honestly, I kinda liked long hair better. Thoughts?
  3. I'm trying to find an example of what I was trying to portray but I can't seem to find anything.
  4. These are snapshots, nothing more. All I see in the first photo is a lot of yellow, then a spot of purple and some brown. The only reason this could even be slightly appeal to someone would be the almost reasonable DOF. The second one is just... sharp shadows, horrible composition and DOF. I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking at. Why not do a collage? I think the horse statuettes would look good in a soft lighting environment close-up with a shallow DOF (maybe just the heads, front-on but at an angle). Gather some more colourful photos with shallow DOF or soft lighting. Maybe a restaurant at dusk (dark blue sky, after sunset but not yet pitch black, with people inside and lights on etc). Cars could work also. Houses are fine, as long as they're not private houses; it's not illegal, but you don't want to piss anyone off. Also with collages you need good colour contrast so get photos of things which are primarily red, yellow, blue, green etc - the restaurant image could count for a blue photo. Assemble them like thumbnails with black bordering between each. Incorporate landscape and portrait orientation photos. Place opposite colours close to each other.
  5. This is my overload timer. EEE = 5 mins.
  6. All the lights in my house were turned on, and I was watching Watchmen in BluRay while playing RS.
  7. Woah, 2006. Christ almighty.... Anyway, my outfit wins hands down.
  8. Will that be the case too when most of the supply of high end herbs comes from monster drops? You have got to remember that the herbs people mostly farm basically only came from farming(toad, snap and torstol), but now, there is a source that provides an equal or higher supply of those three herbs, cutting profits by atleast half, if not making it completely useless(seeing as you have to have juju farming potions to farm any herbs anyway). 5k drops of coal and 500 drops of raw sharks kill any chance those two skills had of making money(for reference, you can mine like 1k coal or 150 sharks in an hour). This is jagex basically saying: 'Oh f*** you, skillers' Or in more modern terms, 'Oh f*** you, botters' :P Hey, this makes a huge amount of sense! It does seem like a bot deterrent.
  9. I don't want to buy and read books based on a game the author doesn't even play.
  10. My grandparents live in Chiba, which is right next to Tokyo. We can't reach them.
  11. I'm currently 90 herblore. So, herblore for the first couple of hours and then just relaxed fletching for the remainder of the weekend.
  12. I did 58-99 all at the Ape Atoll course. I'm sure there are faster methods now, and the Wilderness course is probably a better choice before 70 agility.
  13. Getting good grades isn't necessary to get into a good university. Australian TIFers will know what I'm talking about when I say; I got an OP 18 and am doing an OP 4 course. It just takes a year or two longer to get in. I also received a scholarship for doing absolutely nothing.
  14. More hours-long puzzles. :wall: Lol....
  15. Crashing is the only fun I get out of Bandos GWD any more. It also means you don't spend time gathering a team up; it's cheaper than soloing as well. Basically, crashing is just more economical and less reliant on other people.
  16. Those magic potions are use for what? Extreme magic.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-UFV6UQ8Ko I am a god.

First one: I kinda like it. I think the horizon needs to be straightened up a bit and the railing could have been moved. I'm not to keen on the washed-out blacks but that's just my opinion. Second one: Could have done with a bit of straightening pre-exposure(the railings are not the same length on each side) but besides that I don't see any fault with this. Third image: I don't enjoy looking at photos upside-down but again that's my personal preference. Also, this one needs some straightening too. Fourth image: A slightly lower angle might have been good. The composition is quite good. Fifth image: Not sure about this one. I know you wanted to show perspective but I feel like it's not enough. If it's a playground, perhaps include some people too? Sixth image: Besides being a generic, overdone image and being able to see your shadow in the reflection, I think this photo does what you intended it to do - observe texture. Seventh image: Pretty much the ONLY thing I can see not near-perfect with this image is the dark object on the other side of the glass. The OCD in me is slightly annoyed at the lack of balance between light and dark. But this image still definitely works. I couldn't really find much to dislike about these photos. Maybe it's because they're all black and white.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoGCyiYhRLs Yes, I punch myself in the face. Repeatedly.
  20. Sam, just my walkaround 24-105L. I would have used my 50mm prime but the sharpness isn't too great. Anyway, I wouldn't suggest trying a photo like that unless you want to be blinded. My face is right in the soft box in a pitch-black room.
  21. I rented out a couple of strobes and soft boxes for the weekend so I thought I'd play around with them a bit. :P Later on, when I used up all the batteries except one set...
