  1. I'm pretty sure he's quite capable of adding text himself if he produced a piece like this. Now it's just personal preference for me mate, but I like skinnier sigs like 340x130 and what not. Though this is nice, but I see you've become quite adept to using the scan lines, try and stop, only use them if needed. They kind of ruin the sig.
  2. Well the shading is rather appauling, all you did was "scribble here, scribble there" it looks as if there is folds but you can tell it was just "scribble, scribble." Make you shading neater and give it some sort of form. As said the skirt is way to long, the hands are weird, the arms are so stiff, and the shoulders are squared off. The head looks off place, and his face has no depth.
  3. Cute, very cute of you Xplsv. Now I know exactly what you mean Cad and sometimes I'm brutally honest with people (which led to a temporary ban for me), but sometimes that's what it takes. Also, there are the times when you get the people that just flat out refuse to listen to anyone. We had a person exactly like that, he thought he was god of pixeling and anatomy but for lack of better words his art sucked. I'm sure a few people can recall who I am talking about. Anyways, I think there is a difference between CnC and holding the persons hand. I really think we need to point out what's wrong and give them a hint as how to fix it, but not tell them. This leaves them to discover new things and learn it primarily on their own.
  4. Haha, I love the cinematic border style now, dunno why I just do. And Xplsv... Cover of DVD, seems quite a bit different if you ask me. Kthxbye
  5. After watching the movie Domino this weekend I fell in love with it, and Kiera Knightley. This chick looks so amazing with hair the way it is and a shotgun in her hand.
  6. Hehe, I got the chinese symbol for happiness tattooed on my back as part of a piece I'm getting done. But as someone pointed out, the feet need definite work, she's... Oddly footed?
  7. Another spout of worthless CnC from GS, yay! I think this is quite good for your first mate, but a few things I'd like to point out. The eyes are mismatched, his ear is HUGE lol but maybe that's just nit-picky thing. The hair seems fine, the two proportions don't have to be the same height really, one could just be stuck higher than the other. THe mouth seems to far to the edge. The curvature of the left side (our left) seems a bit off, maybe put the hair in front of it. Otherwise quite good for a first mate, quite good!
  8. This is rather good Smelly, just a couple things as you pointed out, the white dot, but also I'd suggest adding in a frame or two for the walking of the cows/person just to make it a bit more smooth.
  9. Tone down the lines and a good idea with manips is to try and make it what it's not. Such as getting multiple stocks and combining them into one smooth natural looking piece. That is maniping as well.
  10. A sig made for my mate Garry, he's a cool kid and is always an assassin. His latest MMO is Ragnarok as you can see. So I done this up for him.
  11. I believe he is talking about the distortion over the render/image. Not bad work good to see more abstracts making their way back to the forum. ~Alduron Number One: Yah I got bored with pixel art, to time consuming, the whole idea is just meh to me. It's going to be a dead art soon, as it's pretty much worthless besides for hobby. Number two: I think I'm going to try and duplicate the original stock render over it and then clean it a bit. Number three: Alduron, check your PM box.
  12. There is no water effect, so I do not know what you're talking about. And it's Bigtitlingnoodle.
  13. Did this sig as a little gift for a mate of mine.
  14. Good point Venomai, yeah I dunno what was going on with the orange lines, it was just, a "Meh might as well," will remove them though. I hate to say this dude but I love the text lol, probably one of my favorite parts of the sig. Now do you feel that I could still keep it though if I were to move it to the left side, where it is less cramped but just choose different colors for it as the current ones just wouldn't do?
  15. Thanks guys, I'm getting a lot of mixed answers for it so I might have to make my own choice.
  16. #1 #2 Okay so I did this sig earlier today, but can't decide which I like more the one without the gaussain blur overlay or the one with it. So I want your guys crit and pick #1 or #2
  17. [img=http://sig.runeweb.net/sig/8/Masta+Gex.png] Trying using that, when I used mine I always used a + sign for the space.
  18. ' Yeah she just doesn't copy other peoples work *cough*http://fr33st0ffplz.comicgenesis.com/comics/20060812a.png*cough* Anyways, it's very nice but as said before work on the facial expressions.
  19. My favorite two movies, and soon to be third, figured I had to make a sig for it.
  20. The only way it works is if you're listed on High scores on runescape.com otherwise it won't list anything.
  21. Umm.. but if all you do is reference from other peoples work, you won't have your own style, it'll be a combination of two artists. Plain and simple, do your own stuff and don't reference. If you're going to reference, reference from real life, as that will give you the best result.
  22. You shouldn't look off of others people work, do your own and be original. References that are so close to each other are bad.
  23. Did you use Cinema 4D renders for your backgrounds and if so, did you make them? If not, tisk tisk. Also these aren't that amazing if you ask me. The renders aren't blended very well, the text is very hard to read, your backgrounds need more development and depth. As of right now everything looks rather flat, need to spice it up a bit. Learn to do some brushing and smudging techniques, and filters aren't totally out of the question if you use them right. Just takes practice mate, also as other people say, up the sizes, a really good size generally is about 320 x 115 or some where in the area.
