  1. Underbanner?
  2. Is this finished or a WIP? Also, you're only supposed to post your work, not someone elses..
  3. That doesn't even make sense..
  4. That's pretty neat. I may try that sometime if I ever get a camera. And I think I'm going blind because both of those pictures look the same. :-$

A rock? I thought it was a sponge.
  6. It got out of hand. :D I couldn't help it.
  7. Yeah, I like the tree/forest idea. Instead of, what looks like, grass under the mountains make it a forest. King wants a forest! King wants a forest!
  8. I spent about 6-7 hours on this one, first time using AA. Here's a black and white Pixel that didn't turn out as good as I had previously hoped.. EDIT: And, drawn yesterday but still not finished, is a tablet'd piece. (click to view, it's pretty big.
  9. -Grass is not neon green, nor will it ever be, naturally speaking. -The horizon is way too high up. -Sky is not dark blue like that, you should know this, you see it everday. -If you're going to draw, and I use that word losely, the clouds like that, just don't even bother. -Last thing, never, I mean never do the sun-in-the-corner thing and NEVER EVER draw "rays" of light, the sun doesn't have "rays" of light coming out of it, visibley, if you can see it, then you are a beast with beastly powers.
  10. So, everyone likes the elephant, lol. Sorry, GODLY elephant.
  11. NO! Good sig, nice, easy flowing colors, and then.. BAM! Flat, uninteresting font that doesn't go with the rest. And no border... Shame. :shame: Fix those and you'll be good. O:)
  12. No, if it's a competition, it stays here, just don't offer RuneScape money as a reward.
  13. 30 Minutes can do a lot, when you have pivot and a romantic imagination... :P
  14. Ok, you got one major problem, and I'm shocked no one else has said anything yet. Your light source. If I'm not mistaken, fire gives off light. Unfortunately, your fire doesn't. :( The Rune 2H Sword needs more contrast, it's metal, not plastic. Your fire is bigger, but still WAY too small. And it's really mest up, try looking at fire references to capture actual fire. Make the bow longer, because right now it looks like the string is stretched beyond normal standards, which would shoot the 2H terrible, and maybe go like twelve inches, if that far. You need to work on your pallete. I'm not any better at choosing colors, but you need to know that this piece doesn't need thirty+ colors. Try doing this with your colors: base color, this is what color your object is, a highlight (noticabley brighter), and a shade (noticabley brighter). Don't do this, which is what you are doing: base color, little darker, little darker, little darker, little darker, then little lighter, etc. More is less sometimes. Some of the greatest pixelers use less than 12 colors in their entire career. Here is a topic about color that I recently found, it's a long read but it's definately helpful. www.Pixel-Arts.org You also may want to check out some tutorials at SpriteArt. Good luck with this.
  15. Sure, five hours is plenty of time. If you had your idea beforehand. And your colors, and your lines. You're forgetting all the little details that a pixel takes. Two weeks is a long time, but some people can't even get on 20 minutes a day, maybe 20 every other day, and that's not even three hours, total.
  16. Offering "5 GP" to the winner, however lame it may be, is also against Tip.It rules.
  17. Actually Photoshop CS3 Beta is free for 30 days. I gots it. :
  18. Wait..Are you saying the beta is out? Or won't be for a while? edit: nevermind, found it on their site, yei, phr33 plawks.
  19. Pretty sure it does read as mission boy, lol..
  20. Hmm, I'll try but I don't really have an animation that I could use in the example. I'll get something cooked up tomorrow, I guess. Can't hurt, I suppose.
  21. Maybe I'll make a tut on how to use the animation feature of Imageready CS2, haha.
  22. Animation programs. I use Imageready CS2, but I don't post my work here. I think ter does too. (?)
  23. Sorry...couldn't help it.
