I got booted some time ago too, but I was able to log back in with a slight rollback. Shouldn't be too long before you can get back in again I hope.

But now he can get 2 different screenies of himself getting 99 rc at different altars :idea: It didn't really matter much for me luckily, I'd killed maybe 25 desert strykes when I crashed. When I logged back in I was at the bank where I'd prepared for the task so no real harm done. I still remember last time though, I had gotten a nice clue reward, got rolled back and had to do some clues again for a junk reward.

Looks like now the update is finally ready to be released the servers are giving them heck. Anyone else crashed? I wasn't able to log in for a while and got rolled back ~30 minutes because of the crash.

Judging from this, they'll release the TT update this week and the quest next week, instead of postponing the TT's even further or releasing both at the same time. Or maybe they'll do both this week, but not on the same day.

Obviously yet another well thought out update by Jagex Can't say I agree, we'll have to wait for the update to be able to judge it, it was just idle speculation.

I do wonder how much of your special attack bar is preserved, because Ring of Vigour + spec restore + claws sounds OP. Even with 10% saved per spec you wouldn't have to wait long for a third spec.

Except row has no effect on dragon chains, neither on rune stuff. You are correct on the half key part though. Rune spears and javelins. That's only 2 useless rune items, it still renders your whole arguement about chains invalid. Also, I honestly doubt that the chances of, let's say, getting a half key or rune javelins will triple when wearing a RoW. And @Moe, maybe you should post this on the RSOF if you haven't already, because those theories you stated most likely sprouted there, and I'd think it's also where you heard them. I've seen lots of posts on here explaining how the RoW works, and they all follow what Mod Ash has stated. I do see how the article could be misinterpreted though, but I think the explanation is more extensive than what Mod Ash said. Doubt it. If you mean the corpses in the ancient cavern I'd say no, because the RoW only affects a certain 'rare drop table' which is shared by monsters and I don't think the reward from the corpses is determined with this table, but that's mostly because I've never heard of someone getting a half shield or rune spear from a corpse.

Man why did we get the French? I vote we go without them, fighting without the French is like hunting without a trompet anyway. Now I'm definately not entering. English + German team will dominate this by the looks of things. Tbh those 2 should face each other for a little more hostility :twisted:

Well that sucks, guess there's always next week. <_< Personally I'm not that upset about it, the only reason we knew the update was coming was because of the BTS that everyone wanted back. This is exactly the reason why the BTS was removed in the first place, so it was bound to happen sometime. I'd rather have the BTS back and a situation like this every now and then than no BTS at all. Oh and yeah Den, it might have been a small understatement.

Yeh that thread kinda went off-topic. I wonder if there will be an engine update with tt's, someone told me that's the whole cause of the delay, but idk because he's usually not that well informed. <_<

Actually it doesn't increase the chances of getting anything but the first 3 lines of your examples. The same rare drop table is shared between all the monsters that utilize this special table, and I don't think monsters like goblins drop rune battleaxes and stuff.

You're kidding right? Jagex has already confirmed exactly how it works, Paw Claw was right. The only thing the ROW affects are the drops listed on the rare wheel, so only gems, half keys and half shields are affected. (not sure about D meds) @OP, judging from the Wiki-article, the ROW does NOT lower the chances of getting items such as whips or D Bows or w/e.

I've had something like that happen with two long-term friends. We talked a lot and Rs becomes a lot more boring after one of your friends quit. But I generally just make new friends, although it's hard to replace one of these kind of friends, which you talked to for hours most days of the week. :cry:

It's inevitable that items will crash after the new tt items, so people have already started selling to minimize their loss. It might go up a little before the update since I don't see the items crashing for 7 days straight without recovering a bit, but I doubt they'll go back to the prices from last week. At least for the upcoming weeks.

I wonder if Frost Dragons drop anything good.
