World Cup 2010 - South Africa!
Damned ref was blind. First the red card with the diving Iniësta and then he neglected the obious corner, from which Spain countered the 1-0. Ah well, at least we got someone to blame and it wasn't our fault.

World Cup 2010 - South Africa!
Usually yes, but they're out now so he has to earn his money somewhere. Anyway, I'm still giving Holland good chances, despite this prediction. The octopus predicted got all games right two years ago, except for the final.

Behind the Scenes - July
Don't forget that there will be 150 extra items added, so rare items will probably stay rare. Of course, after this update a lot of players will do clues again, so there will be more supply for a while.

I always loved treasure trails, so this sounds epic to me. Also, this will give me plenty of incentive to do bork and the skeletal horror <3:

Who are the Signature Heroes?
I actually like this idea, but we'll of course have to see how it's all implemented in the game.

Rock climbing boots affecting RuneScape
I agree with this post, but with a side note that the assumption of climbing boots dropping to 60k will determine if it will happen. If they drop to 45k without a lot of them being alched before that point, there will be a lot of boots alched causing more money to enter. But yeah, the biggest effects will come from players suddenly buying a lot of items they suspect will rise, which will rise ecause of that.

If there really was someone with an intentional buyout they messed up really bad. They claimed the price change was justified because the boots weren't buyable for max, thus needing a fix. If someone just bought them out to create a buyout there was either no need to 'fix' it or they should update every bought out item <_< Any guesses on what my santa will do? Can't make anything of the current market will al the fake posts on RSOF.

Wimbledon 2010
They're going at it again in 10 minutes. I'm hoping for a great finish of this classic match, but then again it could be over in 2 games

Quiet Before the Swarm 24-Jun-2010 & Free to play quest changes
We’ve added a smithing anvil to the town of Lumbridge, which can be found next to the furnace that's a short distance north of Lumbridge Castle. What a great update. The quest should be a nice start to a series and the ION blew me away. EDIT: wow some nice DBZ style surge spells

Which Money Sinks Would Help Runescape Economy?
I have to say I'm not too excited about this idea, but I wouldn't mind if they implemented it. However, there should be limits on investing, or the more you invest the more chance you have on winning. The latter would IMO be the better option, it would be like buying raffle tickets; the more you buy the more chance you get on winning.

A question about Prayer
It probably was the special effect of the bolts that caused the KO, which counts as dragonfire and wasn't affected by the prayer.

10-June-2010 - Players' Gallery Returns
Awesome, I always liked these things. It would be great if they also restored the Postbag to its former glory.

Which Money Sinks Would Help Runescape Economy?
You sell all of your items, leave the pile of gold in the bank for a year and then tell me that inflation isn't a bad thing. You should spend all your cash on high-end items and use them for a year and then tell me that inflation is a bad thing. For some it's good, for some it's bad, but your axample doesn't show that inflation is bad, just that it CAN be bad for people who aren't smart enough to do something sane with their money It;s positive for some and negative for others. This doesn't mean it's damaging the economy. Certainly not when it balances out, which is the case with inflation.

04-Jun-2010 - Behind the Scenes June
I wonder how rare these court summons are. 5 different cases to start with isn't a lot. Even 16 cases aren't that much. Maybe you can solve them in different ways to maintain some variety i guess. I like having the BTS back, now let's see if they can release all the updates mentioned in them.

Which Money Sinks Would Help Runescape Economy?
Why should inflation be countered? Inflation doesn't have a bad influence on the economy at all. I don't see why a moneysink would be needed at all. I'm not saying a moneysink would be a bad idea, but it isn't needed. If they want to add one, they should, but they shouldn't just do it to 'fix' something that isn't a problem.

I didn't mind the spam tbh, but I agree it was getting worse

Botting....
There are far less bots now than there were before, but there's definately been an increase in botting activity lately. It seems to me that Jagex doesn't see this as a big problem anymore since the rwt problem is fixed. People start to bot for their own means again now that they know that Jagex won't pay that much attention to it. Another reason is that when a botter is caught, he isn't instantly banned, but given a warning. You can basically get caught twice botting and they won't give you a perma-ban untill the third. This is basically a free-pass for people who want to bot to gain lvls. What Jagex should do, IMO, is sharpen their botting policy to a permanent ban once you get caught using third-party software to perform clicks for you and invest some time in the near future to ban a number of botters, so people will see that there are consquences to it and won't risk their character for it anymore. Do this once and the problem will be resolved for a while.

What do you have bound right now?

Why Prestige?
OP is overreacting. I got it too the first day, but there were probably a lot of people who didn't get it. The prestige is in place to prevent players from doing the same floor over and over. And there is a significant difference between floor types. There are different monsters, different rooms and, most importantly, different bosses.

Banable?
I don't see why this would be bannable. It's not a bug or glitch or something and you are in fact risking the stuff.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Haven't seen any signs of a crash yet. But santas drop a few mil every couple of days so I'd wait before calling a dip a crash.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Idk about purples, but the street of santas was very instable before this dip. It was santa + 20m/30m junk for pure cash, but their street went up to 2 crowns+cash for a santa just before last night. I just checked in W2 and the damage to santas doesn't seem too bad. There are more people trying to buy them(with some junk that is) than there are people selling them atm. They'll probably see either a slight rise or dip of 200-300k like last time and maybe a bigger fall than that on the update after that, but I'd think they'll go back up after that. Probably because they seem to be still sellable on the GE, so their street price isn't down by a lot.
