  1. Okay so I still profit buying materials, is that just selling the molten glass or should I craft it into something which gives more profit.
  2. Thanks. That helps a lot. : And also, do I only profit from Super Glassmake when gathering my own materials for it?(Not necessarily gathering, I get my sand from Bert and my seaweed from Arheim).
  3. Okay so, another question, I had two but I figured the other one out(I was trying to figure how humidify profits but I forgot that you use 1 cast per invent, lol). For each cast of Superglass Make do I use a full invent of materials (i.e. 13 seaweed/13 sand) or do I use one at a time. I feel like I'll be using an extraordinarily large amount of materials just for level 79-80(I calced it at around 2k casts for me which is 26k of each material) which means with the amount of cash I have I'll be selling molten glass to the GE and buying more supplies more often than I'd like to(I'm sitting at ~2M currently). I suppose it will get easier as I make more money while training mage/crafting, but am I doing this correctly?
  4. Guthix is the only god who has a staff that auto-casts his god spell..
  5. The title should be Melee Training, not combat training. Since melee is only one form of combat and it's the only one mentioned.
  6. Yeah I do this too. It's so much more helpful for being organized, and I like my bank to be organized(bank interface update was a godsend).
  7. Be careful with the cave as there are aggressive trolls in there. It's better to just run south down towards the black unicorns and then back up.
  8. On the second point he's right, except that he wants to become a tank not a pure. Either way, your attack/strength levels are too high to be the lowest level tank possible(I think the levels are like 73 att, 73 strength) but either way the combination of 99 defense and 99 range wins.
  9. Yes you can do them, especially since you're only doing them for slayer and not camping them for charms. SS will be fine.
  10. You have 80 runecrafting and you're POOR? Take advantage of that and go make some cash, RC for an hour and you'll make a good amount. Then go and farm your ranarrs.
  11. Grand Exchange teleport is WIN.
  12. This. It's also nice to be able to say "Wow, this sucks." when I really mean it. Lol.
  13. Quests and Minigames(Clue Scrolls). For everything else I like to use parts from different player written guides in the AOW ect.

    287. There are many parts of your post that I agree on. For instance the XP/hour for slayer does indeed, suck, compared to other methods of training. And the profit/hour? Yeah it's terrible. I get excited when I make ~200k off of a 2 hour black demon task when I easily make an upwards of 600k from an hour of meleeing green dragons. Now, I don't want to go into the whole 'slayer is fun' deal, because that's an opinion that changes among different people. But for me, slayer is just a alternative for training when I don't feel like camping at the SOS or Zombie Monkeys(haven't tried these yet anyway). I like slayer for a bit of variation every now and then. But like you said, when you start hitting streaks of bad tasks with little slayer points to spend on skipping them... well slayer just ends up being a pain in rear and I'd rather go and train on something else. Off Topic: It's been awhile since I've seen such a well-formed, well thought out rant like this. Nice post.
  15. If you're just looking for an alternative for training I highly suggest slayer. It may not be as fast as just AFKing *insert NPC here* but you'll make a good profit and it's a lot more fun in the long run I feel.
  16. Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll put 10 on fish and 5 on flax for now. I'm choosing flax over coal as I'll use the flax to make bowstrings -> fletch into yew longs -> alch.
  17. Alright so, through farming/fishing I just about double my bankworth in the last week or so, and I'm wanting to invest 1.5M(best amount I've heard) in MTK. I plan on collecting every 1-2 weeks, and keeping my approval rating at 100% so I have a few questions. 1) Do I have to go to the kingdom every day or every other day to get my approval rating up? I've heard both. 2) What's the best to invest in. I've heard different things like 10 on Fish and 5 on Maples, 10 on Coal and 5 on maples ect.. I've done both quests so I have full access to all the resources, what is the best for me to put the workers on? Thanks.
  18. When it comes down to it.. who really cares if the fighter torso takes too much time to get for it to be more efficient than an adamant chainbody or proselyte. I personally like to play BA(with a halfway decent team) which made the torso worth getting because I was having FUN getting it. And as it has been said countless times, Runescape should be played for FUN.
  19. I was thinking of getting void for ranged but its going to take me ages to get enough points :/ I got it in two days, about 6-8 hours total of PCing without a clan. With a clan it'll take considerably less time.
  20. You could also look into getting a Fighter Torso. It's got decent defense stats(not great, I think on par with addy plate) but the strength bonus is nice.
  21. I see that you've said you're going to farm ranarrs. To make more profit from farming I would actually suggest farming toadflax. A clean toadflax sells for ~2.3k and the seeds are about 400gp each. You'll make a profit even if 3/4 herbs die. You can easily farm 100+ toadflax a day using 4 patches(5 if you have done My Arm's Big Adventure).
  22. Toast was trying to say 900-1k an hour. Not 900-1k in 4 hours.
  23. Rogue boots would probably work nicely.
  24. My all time favorite examine, ask anyone in sodb cc how many times I say this per day, lol. Young impling in a jar: "A young impling in a jar. Don't trap me, man!" Lol'd at this one, "Don't taze me bro!" Examine white gnome boots: They're soft, silky and cream. Student's Art in teacher random: "How cute, they've drawn their daddies." Giant from ^: "I guess he wants to be more than just the muscle." Mr. Mordaut, again from ^: "Do not upset this teacher. You have been warned!"
  25. It's not a good weapon to use at aviansies. Crossbows are really the only viable weapons there. Although, if you want the Crystal Bow and you can afford it, then go for it. I have two of them, I love them.
