  1. But the "correct" term for a new person to the game is actually "newb" not "noob". Which is really just newbie shortened. But in all actuality, what WeeMan is saying makes sense as, and it has been said many times before, "noob is an attitude and not a level.
  2. The problem with returning things in Runescape, is that there are more people who are likely to lie about ownership and then you'll end up "returning" a high priced item, money, ect to someone who just lied to get it. That's why I think that people were more likely to keep things for themselves in the first place.
  3. I did both, got the rewards from killing, then spied on all 10. No extra rewards. EDIT: Pinkbullet beat me too it.
  4. Tbh that's awesome with or without the bonuses(a little less awesome without) but either way it's still a bug.
  5. I've added this but do I have to customize it or anything to get it to work? Right now I still have all my menus separate. :wall: Edit: Nevermind I figured it out. OT: I use low detail because my computer lags in high detail enough that it's not worth it.
  6. Hm... turkey vulture?
  7. This. Honestly, I probably wouldn't be one to dress up for a cosplay convention but at the same time I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.
  8. I think what the misconception that a lot of people have is that a "skiller" means a level 3 who works on nothing but skills and tries hard to not gain any combat experience. That, actually, in my opinion anyway, is a "pure skiller". A skiller I think is anyone who works on any skill at all, so in general, any runescape player can be seen as a "skiller" in my eyes, even though some may work on skills more than others.
  9. Sounds great, but I don't know if it'll be enough to get me playing again, I've lost faith in Jagex(but then again this is the first update I've read through completely for about 3 months so I don't know if the game has gotten any better since I stopped playing. :? )
  10. Firefox, it's just amazing.
  11. Couldn't you achieve that through exploring new areas though? Yes, it was fun getting lost on my way from Lumbridge to Varrock, but such a large update would require so much time and effort for such a minor cause. It wouldn't be worth Jagex's time. Anyways, it would only take a few days for us to find out where everything is again - if that. Many of us are accustomed to where everything is right now. If things changed, guides would have to change and we'd have to come up with different traveling/training methods. Some tweaks here and there could be a good thing - but changing the whole map is just too unrealistic because it would dissatisfy us more than it would help us. Well yes, I suppose you could visit new areas. But new areas aren't introduced that often, but a redo of the map, or some of it even, would be a different kind of thrill because rather than visiting entirely new areas, you're sort of seeing the Runescape world anew, by seeing areas you were once familiar with, in an entirely different perspective. But I do agree with you that an update such of this which would require so much work, isn't very feasible as the pros outweigh the cons. Especially since the only real pro would possibly be making things fit better into the map(which they already do pretty well for the most part).
  12. But then all those people who want to re-experience the adventure of finding everything again(I count myself among them) would be able to do just that. Remember when you first started playing? The thrill of adventure was there, now it's gone. I'd like to see it again. :
  13. [01] Xara` bump You're lucky ily. boom@ Btw I just lost the game.
  14. Old topic is old. I want Fatality pics noober.
  15. Thanks, Mr obvious. Who's talking about making it possible to wield two single hand weapons? That wouldn't be balanced aside from how ridiculous it would look to use 2 single hand weapons at the same time. Those are always going to be with shields. Stuff like torags hammers, except useful, is how we'd do this. Haha that's great lol. But yeah, I think more dual wielded weapons would be cool, of course dual-wielding already existing weapons would be a little weird, but new ones I wouldn't mind.
  16. lol'd. This should be in help & advice btw.
  17. I hated that update. Those rocks were awesome, and not everyone could do it so it was just another area where skill mattered in CW \ OT: I would say the 'perfect' updates were Castle Wars, Treasure Trails, Barrows, God Wars Dungeon(it's awesome, I mean come on why complain about something so fun), Construction(sure it was a cash drain but it's so much fun-except for the baaad glitches) and the ranged update with c'bows.
  18. And me if I played more often. :ohnoes: ilu
  19. I liked you remained unbiased for the most part, if not all, of your review. But your ratings seem a little too low, and I believe it's because your experience in Runescape is a little, lacking so to speak, as some have already pointed out. It's hard to write a good review about a game such as Runescape if you aren't an avid player, or at one point were one. I lol'd when I read that.
  20. I don't think that he means that fairness is the reason Jagex removed RWT(although that's partly it, definitely not the main reason though), I think he means it's the reason why Jagex won't sell gold for RL money themselves. That's just the meaning I took away from his post, correct me if I'm wrong. ~Envy
  21. Fail trip. Better luck next time.
