  1. Too bad void doesn't give more accuracy. But yes, it's worth it.
  2. Or some people like me get REALLY lucky and only have about 1k coins and get it. \ *Raises hand* That would be me. : But yeah, first off make sure you've showed her your most recent defender. And just keep at it. It'll come.
  3. No defender? You should seriously consider getting one as it's probably the overall best shield slot item in the game. But otherwise, I'd say use obby shield over crystal shield.
  4. I think that in order to make a skill that pleases *everyone* it needs to be a skill that: 1) Is profitable(maybe not immediately but at least at higher levels so there's an incentive to train it) 2) Isn't "buyable" so people don't complain that it's a 'noob' skill and that's their reason for not liking it(terrible reason though tbh) 3) Has many various ways to level that have XP on par with if you just "grinded" it so it's not extremely boring(mini games are good for this) 4) Utilizes other skills and isn't stand alone - the problem with stand alone skills is that after awhile they lose their luster(not all, Summoning has it's uses for everything even if it can be considered a stand alone skill). For instance, Hunter is a great skill, in my opinion(could use an update though), that provides the materials for the fastest Ranged XP in the game, although since other than that it really doesn't mingle with other skills some people don't like it. A lot of people seem to think that skills HAVE to have a "pair" i.e. Fishing/Cooking, Farming/Herblore, Woodcutting/Firemaking/Fletching ect. These are what I think needs to be in a skill to please the masses, although personally I don't need each of these elements to please me.
  5. This is an interesting question. I would think that the only skills people have gotten without really, really grinding them would be combat skills. But I guess it's possible with other skills like woodcutting and fishing.. Really I only ever hear of people grinding out millions of xp at a time to get 99s.. Hmm :ugeek:
  6. Enchanted slayer helmet looks nice. Awesome update this week, f2p teleblock.. should be fun when I get 85 mage hehe.
  7. I like the OP's idea of extending the area south of the Poison Wastelands and possibly having a quest connected to the global warming theme with Perils Of Ice Mountain. I think that since there's not so much land to add on to, Jagex will just resort to islands and other overseas areas for new lands.
  8. Ahhh that's a good idea. But I don't die often enough that I would need to use it. I just stick with Fally, I like Fally, so it's a nice place to respawn for me.
  9. 17 on Friday.
  10. Sweet I'll probably check this out.
  11. Okay thanks, and from the amount I just profited after only 1k buckets/seaweed used(about 100k+ profit already) I think this method's definitely gonna be worth it in the long run hehehe.
  12. Alching there is very profitable as the aviansies commonly drop rune daggers(p++) which alch for 4.8k and rune limbs which I believe alch for somewhere around 10k. You'll make a lot from alchs alone even if you didn't pick up the bars(definitely pick up the bars though, lol).

Use your judgement I would think, if it's a fairly recent topic like within the last 3 days or so but it isn't very popular(say it's dropped quite a few pages) then make a new one. If it's an old topic but still gets a lot of views and posts then just post on that topic.
  14. Lol'd nice 78 fishing pic NOT in barb village liar@ <3 grats (nice def level lol@)
  15. You should definitely do Swan Song and start doing Monks. They're both more cash and more xp per hour than sharks. I believe you make something like 40M from 73-99 fishing(my calculations if I fished monks all the way to 99 from when I was 73).
  16. I think the Quest Cape is more impressive because as long as Jagex keeps coming out with more quests you have to keep working to keep it. And not to mention it requires some fairly high skills to begin with just to do all the quests to get it.

I rarely see Comp actually being "wrong" when he makes his calculations(yes every once in awhile maybe but not too often). But anyway, I think that yes the weapons are 'overpowered', but since they're all overpowered then that makes them equal IMO.
  18. Lol'd ib4tl

Whenever I get a tooth half I think, "Sweet now I can get another glory for 1/5th of the price by buying the loop half". Whenever I get a loop half I'm like, "God dammit I wish that was the other half :(". That's just how it goes, meh.
  20. The truth. Compared to Rat Catchers, I was only mildly annoyed by Underground Pass(with around 50 agility). I absolutely, no questions asked HATED Ratcatchers(the guards part). I swear to god I was ready to break my computer when I got caught after climbing up the vine thing for upteenth time.
