I really agree with the message of this article. However, one point I doubt would ever happen: Unless they remove trade limits, this definitely will stay. For newly related items, the value changes every hour, I doubt Jagex can keep up with that. For super rare items (phats, 3a and those spirit shields ATM) the price range people trade those items for are way above 5%. And what about item lending, those almost all depend on junk items. So for those three reasons I don't think junk trading will become obsolete.

When recalling the good ol' times and spitting on the community it's nowadays, remember people already complained about stuff like this when you just joined.

You forgot the most important data of them all: xp/h at camping monsters and slayer task (does it even stack with a slayer mask?).

I found English way easier then French and ancient Greek/Latin. The only hard part is the spelling vs. pronunciation, which hardly makes sense. But the grammar is just so easy, almost everything is so logical. In Dutch and the languages I said before, if you have grammar rule A, there are tons of exceptions of that rule. Those exceptions usually have their own rules, but of course those rules will have exceptions again... *Sigh*. Even irregular verbs aren't as difficult as that in English, most of them have some kind of repeating pattern. And once you have learned them, the rules of how to use them aren't very hard IMO. For just reading and listening it's even easier, because most rules are pretty common sense. However, once I wrote that, I realized it's because some rules look quite a lot like my native Dutch ones, so maybe that's the reason I find them so easy. For answering the OP more, I don't think Jagex will release a Dutch version. French and German people are known (at least in Holland) for being very stubborn and not wanting to learn any other language. In Holland, a lot of people know English well enough to play RS, especially on the passive (reading) part. Therefore France and Germany just have a lot more potentially players then Holland. Same goes for Spanish and Portuguese, tons of people speak those languages, so tons of new potential costumers. I'm still waiting for a Chinese version, that'd really open a new market. I know this may not be very well written, and therefore contradicts my first statement, but that's because both my writing and learning foreign language learning skills are pretty poor.

Unless you do really it really hardcorse, all monster hunting depends on luck. So in that case it's certainly justified. People come to me "nice ZGS, lucky" and it's luck indeed, it's been my only GWD item ever after only 50 boss kills.

I used to play quite a bit, but I've stopped because I couldn't find a world without stacking anymore. (And I don't have enough tix/skills for those picking clans.) But the minigame itself is awesome. Good Job Jagex! =D> =D>

Their player base probably has more French and German speakers than Spanish or Poruguese. And Chinese players generally prefer more grinding-based games, I very rarely see a Chinese player. RS not a grinding game? LOL. And you have to realize, it's practically on the other side of the world (depending on where you live), so they won't play on time you'd normal play on.

I'm pretty surprised by their choice of German and French before Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese. Those are spoken by a far more people then French or German. Especially Chinese will probably have a massive impact. (Yes, I know there are loads of different kind of Chinese languages besides Mandarin, but they're all nearly the same in writing.) Owh and I don't think they will release a Dutch version (it'd be awesome though). Dutch can speak English pretty good and it's spoken nowhere besides Holland and Flanders.

How on earth can you dislike getting dags?! They're one of the quickest and most xp/h tasks in the game!

I know how you feel. Something you just have to tell someone, but can't to your friends. (IRL because internet love is too shameful and online because that's just too close in this case.) At those points, posting on a random forum, besides 4chan, usually is very relieving. Especially when you get some nice comments about it. And therefore, I wish you good luck and a happy relationship. Because I know a lot of people here don't appreciate such soft relationship talk, I'll post a picture and rant too: I finally got my full void! I'm glad I finally got away from that stupid island. I swear, the dumbest people on RS must play that game. I've never seen so much 100+ with d longs, power ammies and other noob gear before. Also the times I had to close the same door 5 or more times in the same game drive me nuts. Just as those stupid people who have the brilliant idea to run through you, when you're blocking a long line of torchers and defilers, so those pests all attack the knight. And then those people who instantly drop everything when a portal gets unlocked. It's like they're totally blinded and the only thing which still exists is the portal. They don't care whether a huge amount of pests starts attacking the knight, or how many spinners there are, they still only attack the knight. People who to try to beat 5+ spinners and seem surprised they don't succeed. The only way to keep it a little fun to me, is to pretend like it's me against an army of bad NPC, who try to help, but in reality do a lot of damage and you're the one having to clean up the mess. On a more fun note, I reached 7.5K FOG rating! :D :D And it's so fun, void range with darts totally owns there. Usually when they don't pray right, I hit as fast as they can heal. And hitting 34+ unpotted with broad bolts also is very nice! :mrgreen: [hide=a picture of my void and 7.5K rank, my screen is too big] [/hide] O well, still a lot of talk with only one picture, but it felt good to type that rant out.

They said the 150th quest would be uberepic pwnage, but skill quests are usually dull and easy.
