I am still not sure if I agree with the zero tolerance policy on hits to the head. We are so used to seeing those open ice hits in the neutral zone, it will be very weird to see those penalized now. The thing is players are still not sure what hits are allowed and which are not. Would a player like Chara be penalized for a hit to a like Patrick Kane, in such a situation Chara has no choice but to make contact with Kane's head. Are players now going to start skating through the neutral zone with their head's down, without being fearful of getting their head taken off? I am still not sure how this rule works. Agreed with Blyaunte, these suspensions will eventually reduce.

No point in using familiarisation bonus if you are not going to cannon in Tavelry. I am not sure if you can do waterfiends in CT, but those were excellent with the bonus, when I played.

Neil is not suspended, still think it was on purpose but like you said intent was very difficult to prove. Can't criticize Shany for this one.

I missed the game, had class from 7-10 :wall: I heard on the radio that it was not a good hit. I haven't seen the hit so no comments yet but what do you think he will get?

Your ISP should have a service to track your daily usage. I know I do, we usually plan out the usage of our 100gb limit by tracking it regularly. Towards the end we make sure we don't go over. Just try and look for something like that.

I stopped going to the ACC a long time back. I have only ever been to about a half a dozen games, its expensive and I can honestly save a lot more time and money by sitting at home and watching the game on HD. Sure the experience of going to the game is a lot more special but I do not find it worth my money anymore. Especially with the on ice product having been so awful for the past 6 years. I will stay at home at least until this team becomes playoff team or a Cup contender.

Actually completionist capes are still rare, I believe someone in the "200m all skills" in GD said that only 4 or so people have it thus far. Not sure how true that is but it can't be too far. Just the Castle Wars requirement itself is pretty tough.
-
My first 99 was Runecrafting, I never regretted my choice. I had a lot of fun Runecrafting and playing the Great Orb Project. My cape remains untrimmed and i still cherish those memories. I will say go for a 99 that will personally make you feel like you have accomplished something special, at least that is what I felt when I did Runecrafting. If you enjoy combat, go for 99 slayer as your first 99.

I believe the last time I checked it was around 18k/hr. Not sure now since I have logged more time in f2p without significant xp gains.

I am liking Shanahan so far on the discipline committee, so far he has gotten most of the decisions right but we will see when a guy like Pronger gets into this type of situation.
-
If this is indeed true and what people are saying about fire blast, mage in f2p got even worse. It was already horrible but they somehow managed to make it even worse. =D>

I am curious as to where Kadri fits into the team. He has shown flashes of brilliance so far but is it enough to earn a roster spot. Bozak will likely center the 3rd line and he has looked good in preseason thus far. What happens when Lobardi comes back though, if Bozak is having a good season where will Lombardi fit in. The good news is we have plenty of options this year at center, which we did not have last year. I also expect Gardiner to get some time on the D sometime this season. He has looked solid both in the rookie tournament and in the preseason thus far. Frattin and Colborne should go back to the Marlies.

Only have one 99 and that is runecrafting.
-
Well the Leafs manage to somehow take one against a much stronger Philly lineup. Impressive win as most who played today will likely be cut. Scrivens (so far) looks like the best Leaf goalie this preseason which imo is not at all encouraging.
-
Reminds me of everyone I associate with when the Wings make the playoffs. Well, it's the wings so at least it's somewhat valid. In other news, we got destroyed by Philly. You know what that means: Lol reminds me of another Sting's player I wanted them to tank for. Would really like to see a good season this year, so no thanks to Yakupov.

I don't want to sound like I am encouraging people to break rules but I am really curious how far someone can get botting before Jagex notices.
-
Tension growing between Doughty and the Kings, Lombardi says the Kings will dock 25k from their initial offer for every day Doughty misses in training camp. I don't know if pissing off potentially your franchise player is the way to go.

I too am at home, didn't have any classes today. Enjoying this beautiful albeit slightly chilly Friday.

Yeah, I find myself hoping that both Myers and JVR end up sucking horribly. Tyler Myers is making $12 million next year. That's ridiculous... I hope Buffalo crashes and burns, the new owner seems to have no discretion whatsoever. We are definitely headed for another lockout and that is honestly quite sad. All these cap circumventing deals are really going to hurt us when the next CBA is being discussed. Just looking at the deals this summer for both Ehrhoff and Richards makes me cringe. Oh and Schenn finally signed for a very decent 18mil over 5 years. Great deal for both sides.
-
I was referring to the construction records...
-
10M xp actually is 6th on the all time records on runetrack, so it is actually a pretty significant gain.
-
Paying for potential is not surprising anymore in the NHL, remember Ratislav Olesz? He had a 30 point season under his belt and he was given a 6 year 19mil deal. What a blunder that was, I am glad Burke doesn't hand out such contracts. 2 or 3 years seems to be a worthwhile risk but 6 or 7? If it doesn't work out, you are just handicapping yourself.
-
A lot of RFA signings with the start of training camp not far off. So far Marchand, Tavares and Bogosian have all signed. Reports say that Schenn is close and Doughty may follow. Turris is holding out on the Coyotes apparently.
-
I think Suomi is out of charms now as he said he had about 77m xp worth of charms. I wonder if he goes back to slayer or does some more construction. Congrats to Jd on reclaiming rank 3 again.
-
Been following this thread and Suomi for a while. Would just like to say, Congratulations Suomi!!! I remember seeing your name and I checked you out around the time when you were training fishing, never imagined you to be as close as you are. For a long time I thought that nobody would have the dedication for 200mil in all skills. You have converted this doubter into a believer. Big Congrats again, will be cheering you on the rest of the way.
