NEW iPODS RELEASED TODAY 9/5
Trap you base your views on Apple and its competitors based purely on features. You also have to factor in that you are buying into quality design. When I got my new car I could have gone for a Skoda, would have been cheaper (cost), more miles per gallon (battery life), more features such as 4 doors, split climate control and gps (sd slot, radio) etc. However I went for the Honda Civic because it looks frakin' sweet! I'm not an Apply fanboy and I dont hate Microsoft but i'd still rather have an iPod than one of the competetors. It looks amazingly well designed and feels like a really quality product in your hands. Its smooth and desirable and this isnt because of the Apple advertising making people think that, it genuinely feels the best overall. And over 60% of people buying mp3 players agree. The touch screen is, at the moment, a gimmick. It has a small storage space when you factor in how large videos and tv shows take up. However its an experimental product and Apple will have to monitor sales before spending the R&D money on putting in a nice chunky hard drive in there. The classic iPod is still the best quality jukebox on the market, and by jukebox i mean you put everything you have on there and thense choose what you want to play. The touch is not a jukebox and instead a regular player, you have to choose beforehand what you want to synchronise with the iPod before you take it away.

IS THERE A WAY TO!
What TV you have is more important to know than what computer you have. It might have a built in AV socket to plug into or it might not even be able to be used as a computer monitor.

NEW iPODS RELEASED TODAY 9/5
The iPod Touch looks kick [wagon]... but 16GB only... that's rubbish. My 4th Gen iPod is 20GB and its years old now and the equivalent "classic" iPod stores 160GB now.

United Kingdom or Seperate Countries?
I am from the United Kingdom and I am British. That's how I see myself. I can be dealing with crazy patriots boo hooing about not being allowed to say English because that's not true. I'm not too happy about devolution of government though. It seems that Great Britain is in name only really and one set of rules doesn't apply to all the countries in it. Sometimes I feel that my taxes subsidise benefits only available in Scotland or Wales that I may never be able to benefit from myself.

A physics question.
Watch the latest episode of The Sky At Night on the BBC website, last week they had a person who discussed this very subject. the language might be a bit beyond you but you can lookup what they are saying on Wikipedia and stuff for more simple to understand answers.

An astrological experiment
I mean that If Bubsa posts his personality here it doesn't take a genius or fraudulent astrologer for example to work out when his birthday is. If i posted Bubsa personality for him, the odds of anyone working it out reduces to chance levels (a one in 12 guess).

An astrological experiment
Analysis of the Birth Chart site you posted. Detailed correct statements are in green Vague statements applying to large numbers of people in black Incorrect statements in red. He is ingenious, sharp customer, discerning, crafty, diplomatic. To the point and subtle in speech, he is a real diplomat. Weaknesses: petty and over-critical. Over-attention to detail, nit-picking and fussy. He has a very good memory. Scientific or medical studies preferred above all others. He is humble and moderate, calm and reserved. Emotional discipline. He is willing to help, devoted and gentle. Weaknesses: servile nature, frequent changes of occupation, gets annoyed, upset, worries. He is too shy. He discusses, deduces and judges. He reasons logically and accurately. Weaknesses: he is easily irritable and nervous. He tells off and criticizes. He is impulsive and manic. Gives help to sick and old people. He is very devoted, does not show emotions: he is prudish and never lets himself go, either through fear of ridicule or through fear of not being loved in return as much as he loves. Always suspects the feelings of others. He is therefore sometimes too undemonstrative, so the other (thinking she is not loved) will leave. Weaknesses: likes to flirt and provoke. He is perfectly in command of his own feelings, which often lack passion or force. His love is never for free but must automatically bring a bonus, be it only an intellectual pleasure. Fights against principles, society or a philosophy. Reasoning, ability to explain things, logic and debate. Weaknesses: he goes to excess in the battle against moral or other principles. Has a somewhat revolutionary spirit, is intrepid but presumptuous. He has great professional aspirations. He likes to direct, organize. He is correct, virtuous, conscientious and worthy. Weaknesses: without doubt too avaricious, eager for gain. Observant, self-controlled, unforgiving, tough, methodical, a researcher, an investigator. Lots of courage, self-assurance and can keep his cool. Weaknesses: makes no concessions or compromises. He can become a fanatic of a creed, a party, work or a religion. He is shy, delicate but proud, bold and lively. Likes long voyages, things foreign, water. Brings changes. Forceful personality. He is strong-willed, authoritarian. He is self-confident but is sometimes arrogant. Has a happy childhood. His desire for self-development leads to success and he has a good professional job. Got bored of reading after that. Not much green in comparison to red there is there?... So everybody that was born in my town at the same time as me has the same personality. Both shy and bold at the same time. Mmmm. Methinks that the reason why theres so much information on that page is because its trying to get you to find the maximum amount of "hits" and to ignore all the wrong and general bits. Not impressed by my sign. Perhaps doing a reverse astrological chart you could work our where and when I was born?

An astrological experiment
You should not allow people to post their own descriptions because you could search the forums for posts on ages and birthdays and deduct it that way. People should buddy up with someone by pm and post here WITHOUT mentioning the username of the person whos personality you describe. Then we shall see how accurate astrology is, in this "not so scientific but better than the current experiment" test.

Ordered and received. CD's and DVD's.
The amount extra that 2.0 and 2.5 cost compared to the UK dvds was less than the cost of two pints. I'd have gladly paid that for all the features. theres a complete Season 2 boxset coming soon for Region 1 and Season 3 will be released all together too.

Microsoft Live Earth Reveals Classified Submerine Properller
I don't think its super class top secret, I mean there's plenty of other subs whose props are well documented. Looks pretty neat though. Edit: A couple more things, I'm sure the Americans are more worried about the Chinese using their own satellites to photograph military sites than Google. They'll have it in much higher res that's show in these 4 tiny pictures. Also judging by all the scaffolding around the prop I'd assume that what we are seeing is an old design and its being replaces by something even better than we haven't seen.

The UK DVDs are pants. NO EXTRAS, NO WEBISODES, NO COMMENTARIES. The only thing its got is the Story So Far which is only a few clips from the previous two series with a voiceover, its not a proper feature. On the plus side the first 8 episodes (all ive watched so far) are a much better print quality than season 2, no grain/grey washout. The missing out of the webisodes is obscene though, especially in the first few episodes of the season. Duck was just some random extra in the background of a couple of episodes but he had quite a big role in the webseries. It shows him as he has to deal with the grief of losing Nora and the steps he took to join the NCP. We also miss out on the Jammer story and the agonising decision he made to join the police force. He was not a collaborator and thats why it was so heartbreaking to see him be executed, especially after what he did for Cally. Here is a rundown of the differences between region 1 and 2.
