I just found another cool essay written by Richard Dawkins about astrology on his website. Its called The Real Romance in the Stars and was originally published in The Independent (December 1995)

Maybe its just because the time I saw Pete Docherty he was out of his face and could barely stand but I dont really like him. I thought the Libertines were ok but he's just a mess now with Babyshambles.

James Randi wrote an astrology column in a national paper once under a psudoname to show that you can make up anyhting and people will belive it.

Horoscopes are meaningless and vague. None of the astrologists can ever agree, especially on sun signs. They say things like "try not to worry about the money" and stuff and somsone might read that and be "omg thats so true" when EVERYONE worries about money. Funny, thats exactly what the first thing to come into my head was, and now im humming it in my mind hehe

I dont have a hatred against rap per se just that most of it imo is absolute trollop. When Eminem first released his music it was fresh, original and catchy, now his stuff just seems to be getting worse and worse. Apart from a recent song he did with D12, i cant remember the name, "im the lead singer of the band" etc he has only produced tripe. The latest song he did with Akon is quite possibly one of the worst songs I have ever heard.

Is it just me or does The Inquirer look like a Register ripoff?

That must have been really horrible quality- most dvds are about 4.7 or so gb, and thats for a normal movie. Before the days of DVDs there were Video CD's. Yes the quality was a bit poor but watchable. I dont think that RS movies consists of high definition pictures at 60 frames a second.

I saw a trailer for it on the TV, i dont think i heard anything but awful music during the duration of the advert.

The Register mostly, sometimes i'll look on Engadget but im not really active on any of the tech sites tbh.

If you got it in an email from your freinds telling you to pass it on to everyone you know then its probably just a hoax virus. That aside, never accept attachments unless you are accepting them or are sure that it really was your friend that sent it to you. When someone sends me something on msn i always ask to confirm what it is before downloading it, then i scan it with anti virus.

Using colours to highlight specific words in a sentance is one thing. But writing entire sentances, paragraphs or even entire posts in one colour (no matter which one) is just lame. It's bad netiquette for others users who are using a different theme and just causes grief from people who get fed up not being able to read. One could argue that the posts from the people who post entire comments in once colour arnt worth reading, but i'd rather have it put in the rules not to do it just to stop the grief.
