That actually looks pretty cool. Nice idea.

Emotions, Emotions, Emotions! (guess what this is about)
I agree that the emotes we have today don't last long enough, and some are complete nonsence. Personally, I rarely bother with emotes unless I'm bored. I think they should make the emotes cause your character to actually move a few spaces. Like for the Bunny Hop, you should actually hop a few spaces. The Zombie walk... You could walk like a zombie for a few spaces. For Cry, it would be hilarious if your character cried in one spot, walked to another spot and cried some more. Jagex does need to update the emotes some. To put it simply: The emotes we have today are dull... #-o What does that have to do with emotes...? :-k

Runescape Lottery
I don't think a Runescape Lottery would work very well... Let's just take a moment to reflect on the massive amount of players in Runescape. Out of all those players, only one person would win millions from money gathers from all of those people. Big unfair advantage. Could provide some killer scam tactics for those little filths that infest Runescape. Would this really fit into the medieval theme? :?

Let us choose a race.
Holy crap... That's the biggest mispelled, bad grammer, no punctuation run-on sentence I've ever seen. Just a tip: Type so that people can understand you... It's not a bad idea, but I doubt it would fly very far. In Runescape, it's a world of us humans among the other mysterious races you find here and there. There would have to be alot of major changes in the entire Runescape system to include the selection of your own race.

a whole new runescape
The graphics in Runescape are the best I've seen in a Java game that people can play for free. I'm perfectly content with the graphics they have.

Best way to get money in F2P
I haven't found cutting yews to be a great way to make money. It's pretty slow, even when you have a Wc level of 70+. Your best bet would be merchanting, or selling steel bars. If you set up a good system in steel bars, you can make about 100k+ a day. As you get more and more money, buy more and more ores, and hire more workers, you can make tons of money a day.

Possible way to prevent hackers...
The use of case sensitive username logins would prevent hacks that occur in Runescape. Let's say someone is offering free membership. He would of course, ask for the pass and login username from the victim. The victim would give him the pass, but couldn't give the correct login username. I understand that there are several ways around this. There always will be. This is just one of those small updates that could prevent some hacks in Runescape. No, it will not prevent them all. Nothing can. But this will perhaps save a few people from being manipulated into giving a hacker their pass and login username.
-
Possible way to prevent hackers...
Yes, actually they are hackers... They hack into peoples accounts, hence the name "hackers". Yes, I know there are ways around this. Making the username case sensitive would simply reduce the amount of hacks, since it would be harder to hack into another players account.
-
Possible way to prevent hackers...
I was logging into Runescape today when I accidentaly hit the Caps Lock key. That's when it hit me... Why not make usernames case sensitive like passwords? Your actual name wouldn't look like the way you type it into the log in screen. It would look like it always did. How it would prevent Hackers: In Runescape, you can't type in random caps. That would prevent people from telling their login username. Even if the hacker knew the password, he would still have to figure out how the login username is spelled out. Jagex could set up a system that randomely capitalizes letters in your username when you register. You would of course be told the Login Username. Why should they set up such a system? Not many people will want to go through the trouble of randomely capitalizing letters, just so that they can go through the same hassle everytime they log in. Yes, it would be a hassle to type in the correct letters in the correct casings. But isn't it worth it if it prevents hackers from hacking into your account? Opinions?

Jagex Moderators and Player moderator crowns
Player mods having crowns would entice scamming. They would claim them to be party hats, and "drop trade" it for several mil. Bad idea. Jagex mods having crowns would be a bit pointless. As someone said above, the gold crown by their name is enough for them to stand out.

Small changes that would make Runescape a better place...
I thank everyone for their opinions. With your help, I can weed out some of my more random ideas that aren't as good. As for the fires, it wouldn't cause damage. It would be chaos if it did. Perhaps you only say "ouch" if you stand on it for a long period of time?

Small changes that would make Runescape a better place...
I've been playing Runescape for a very long time. In that time, you tend to notice things in Runescape that could be changed for the benefit of its players. I've decided to keep a small log of all of the changes that should be made: Longswords and Shortswords should look more link swords, and not just some long sticks. You should be able to see the flat edges, and pointed tip. **The level 45 skeletons located under Karajma should drop Big Bones instead of Regular Bones. Have you seen the size of those things? Their huge! Combat should be altered so it is more exciting. Training combat isn't any fun at all these days. All you do is click on a monster and let your person whack him to death... Come on Jagex, spice it up some. Regular Trees should produce at least 2 logs, insted of one. How is it possible to get just one log, from a whole tree? Wouldn't it be a bit more realistic if you got "Small Bones" from certain foods? If you don't get what I'm saying, think of it this way. You cook and eat a whole chicken. Did you just eat the whole thing, bones and all? Wouldn't it be a bit more realistic if food you ate dropped Small Bones? I understand that this would get in the way of pking and such, when food is replaced with its bones. Due to that, I thought it should be possible to cut out the bones from the food with a knife. Boneless chicken! Imagine that. *It was recomended that "Fish Bones" be dropped from fish once you ate them.* The size of ore when you drop it on the ground should be a bit smaller... Would you really be carrying around 28 Iron Ores if they were bigger than your characters upper body? :? **You should be able to sit on benches and chairs. I know that this is possible in player owned houses, but why isn't it possible in the rest of the world? Make tools wieldable. Which tools do I mean? I mean hammers, knives, and shears! It would be much more realistic if you could actually wield the hammer your using while smithing bars. You wouldn't just leave it in your pack all day. It's the same with knives and shears. Hammers and knives could even act as a low leveled weapon for newer players. In the real medieval days, people used to use knives and hammers as weapons. Why shouldn't the characters of Runescape? **Drop X Coins. Wouldn't it be great if you could drop just a certain amount of coins, tokens, and all of those other types of currencies? If you were carrying around 50 coins in real life, you wouldn't just dump them all. You should be able to select "Drop x", then type in the amount you want to drop. You can offer x coins in trading, so why can't you drop x coins? Though this may be a pointless update to you, it would be a bit more realistic. Why should the game be more realistic? It would add to the playing quality. There should be more crumbled forts and houses in the wilderness. The wilderness is one big battlefield. Wouldn't it make sense that crumbled forts would gather over time, as wars were waged over the decades? You should be able to range and mage over low obstacles. I've been around the entire world, and have seen so many places that you should be alowed to shoot over. Let's take the crumbled areas in the walls of the Bandit Camp as an example. You should be able to shoot right through them, but you can't. That just doesn't make sense. **Beer should make your character drunk. It's beer for crying out loud! If you drink enough beer to get your attack to 0, your character should be swaying some at least! An awesome effect would be your messages being automatically slurred. They could program it so that certain words would replace others. For example, instead of saying "please", you would say "pleasshh". **Stick some creatures in the moat around the Dark Knights Fortress. That would greatly add to the whole "wilderness, beware" effect. Why is it you can stand on fire, and not feel a thing? The least they could do is make your character say "Ouch!" when you stand on a fire. *This wouldn't cause damage* **Wouldn't it be pretty cool if they added a selection of smileys you could add in your messages? They don't have to be big, color filled, or animated. They can just be your regular ": )" ": (" ": P" etc. They could stick a link to the selection of smileys right there in the tool bar. Raccoons wandering around Runescape during the daytime? That's a bit odd... They should research the term "rabies". *Shade robes should look more like actual shade robes, and not priest gowns. *Be able to turn off the opening theme music. *= Newer idea **= Supported idea There are more to come, but I do not have the time to post them now. It's getting late, and I can't stay awake forever. :) I'll edit this and add more when I can. Feel free to discuss the changes I listed. If you think one of them is a bad idea, feel free to post it. All I ask is that you give a reasonable explanation as to why it's a bad idea. Also, feel free to post your own ideas for small changes. I will be happy to post any reasonable ideas on my list.

Mage Armor for F2P?
F2P does need some sort of new mage armour.. It doesn't have to be much, but just somethign that's a bit better than those skimpy robes we have now. I've heard this mentioned many times before. I heard the suggestion of making animal skins into mage armour. Personally, I think this is a very good idea. Animal hide would be tougher than the robes, with higher defence, but it wouldn't be too strong. Currently, f2p can pick up the hide dropped from bears, but we can't do anything with them. It would make sense to let us make them into mage robes as a crafting skill.

Weapon Speeds/Attack Animations.
This would make combat much more interesting.

Idea Removed by owner
I like this idea... I've seen way too many p-mods that really don't know squat about Runescape. They just act all nice and good so they can get a silver crown by their name.

Sweet idea. You have my support.

Tired of runners when you're pking?
25 seconds is waaay too long... It gives the player a completely unfair advantage. Do you know how many times you could hit someone in 25 seconds? Alot... I think Snare for 15 seconds is enough. If it's too short, just Snare them again.

Suggestion to reduce number of scams!!
This is a really nice idea. You have my full support.

stop runners in wildy suggestion
If you don't pk, why does it matter to you? You wouldn't understand the concept of stopping runners while pking, unless you were actually a pker. I really like this idea. People say that rangers and mages can use bind and snare, but the truth is, they can't very well. You would have to have a pretty high magic level to get the spell to work while wearing armour or d-hide.

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
Unfortunately, I am not able to continue adding names to the petition. With the constant flow of supporters, it has begun to take too much time, and cause me some stress. From now on, I will be simply counting the number of supporters, and posting it at the bottom of my opening post. There has been some confusion as to wether adverts are paid per click, or just by being put up on the screen. I intend on finding out as soon as possible. Once I have found out, I will post it here, and we can finally determine wether f2p actually gives Jagex more profit than p2p.

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
What cost are you referring to this time? And.......boat......? :-s It seems I'm not the only one that didn't understand a word of that... Also, I thought I had clearly stated that you should NOT post here, unless you had another good reason why we shouldn't get more bank space. I don't think "You're missing the boat" counts.

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
To Legend_Gaara: You say that more bank space is a motive to become a member. I say, who gives a flying hoot about bank space, when they will get all of the other updates when they become a member? You point out that it has been 4 years since they began the memberships, and that since we haven't gotten bank space in all that time, we aren't going to get it now? Might I point out what you pointed out? Its been 4 years. That's a pretty long time. Let us think about all of the holiday items, and randoms that have come out in that time. Not to mention the release of trimmed armour, and the new sceptre. Randoms: Full zombie, Full Lenderhosen, Full Mime, Full Frog Prince/Princess, Full Camo. Just those alone take up 17 spaces. Would you really want to get rid of those random event items, after the years it took to get them all? Trimmed Armour: I am guessing that those with trimmed armour only carry about 1 set, along with their regular armour. A set of trimmed armour takes up 4 spaces. The Sceptre takes up 5 spaces, if you have multiples of the pieces and one full sceptre. Those alone take up 26 out of 60 spaces in our bank. Then there's all of the essential items that we need for everyday use. I'm not even going to try to post them here, because you can find them on my very first post. I will, however, point out the items that most people have in their bank: Melee Armour (4 spaces), 2 Weapons (2 Spaces), Ranging Armour (4 Spaces), Bow and Arrows (2 spaces), Magic Staves of all types (4 spaces), Mage Clothing (3 Spaces), Runes (10 Spaces). 29 total. Those are items just used for combat, and those with the random event outfits take up a whomping 55 Spaces (remember, that's out of 60). Then there's the pickaxe, axe, cooking supplies, etc. for using your other skills. And don't forget ores, logs, and bars! 60 Bank spaces aren't nearly enough! People say that F2P is just a demo... F2P is much more than just a demo. People have played Runescape since the begining, and have remained f2p. Not everyone wants to waste 5$ a month on a computer game. Remember, that Runescape used to be all f2p. Why should Jagex turn their backs on us now? Yes, I agree, many people have worthless junk in their bank. But, take a moment to look back on the lists of items us older playes have to store. We don't store junk. We don't have the leeway to. We store our essentials. You'd be insulting us if you said we all store worthless junk in our banks, and then go complaining about bank space. Come on now, we aren't all 10 year olds. If you haven't noticed - F2P HAVE been getting updates. Do you seriously call some new graphics, sounds, and the deletion of some bugs "updates"? When I think of updates in the game, I think of new types of armour, quests, places to go, skills, and all of those other major things they come out with. The only "updates" we have gotten were: Holiday Items, some new Randoms (which added onto the need for bank space), and the yearly Holiday Items. You tell us we should be more appreciative, and stop demanding more? If pointing out a well known need is "demanding more", then you had better get used to it. Jagex even knows that more bank space is a must! A J-Mod told me himself. "Yes, more bank space is needed." And of course, before I could talk to him further, he logged out. They know we need more bank space. I have sent several messages to them that they have surely read some of. They know we are out here, expressing our need for bank space. Yet, they just chose to ignore us. We will not be ignore. This petition shall remain open until a J-Mod comes to me and fully explains why we shouldn't have more bank space. And no, I'm not going to accept the usual excuse "You get what you pay for. Become a member". You have even told us to sell items we don't use, then buy it back again when we need it... Ok, now that's just the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Let me explain further... Let's say I have a set of full rune that I haven't used in a while. I'm trying to get my mining up, so I have a large assortment of ores and bars I need to store. So I sell my armour for 190k. Now I'm done with mining, and I want to go pking. I hop over to world 1, to buy my armour back. I buy it back for 200k. I keep doing this with all of the items I don't use for a while. Suddenly, it hits me. I'm losing money! Of course you would lose money! You can't trust that you'll buy your items back for the same amount you sold them for. You could lose 100k in a matter of months. No, I am not exaggerating. If you actually sell then buy back your items, let me know how much money you lose. I don't know about you, but I'm not about to go buying and selling my stuff, just to lose more and more money. It's pointless. I am thankful to you that you posted your argument. It has given me yet another oppurtunity to express the need for more bank space. I have enjoyed this little debate, but I'm afraid it must end here. Now, if you have another good reason why we shouldn't get more bank space, I welcome you to post them here. But if you don't, there is no pont in posting here. It would be considered spam, and quite honestly, I am getting tired of people spamming in here. Thank you once more for this little debate. To Everyone Else: Thank you for your support, and I will add you when I get a chance. And thank's to those of you that have been involving yourself in the debates, seeing that I cannot immediately reply to every opposing post. :
