That your trying to raise prices by stating the obvious. agreed.. this is what we call what everyone figures out when they start getting cash and looking at the history of the rares market. but rares in general are past the point of rising naturally due to increasing rarity.. it's just mass speculation and manipulation. there's just too little demand for santas, and whenver they jump up 500k for whatever reason everyone jumps and tries selling, driving the price back down.. pretty sad.. but they won't really go up massively until some of the phat owners switch to them and pump more money into the market.

noone can really say for sure, but it's really (directly) irrelevant to the prices.

you really ought to read the other posts, it's only two pages: looking forward to the slayer tower and KBD and castlewars. hopefully the KBD trip isn't -too- crowded, it won't be as fun if it is too many. oh, and not that i hate the valentines day thing.. just not looking forward to it as much :P

1) he's a drunk hypocrite maybe. just an idea. 2) Yes, there was at least a few days inbetween the discovery of the seer's party hall bug and when they fixed it. god those days were heaven, fastest way for cash was to dupe cannon parts and alc em. and since noone cared about their armor (as it's all duped) there was some fun wildy stuff going on.. when you could actually mage while wearing rune before they decreased the magic bonus further, that was fun. and everyone was doing it, so what was jagex going to do, ban every single member from RS2 beta? anyways, like others said, there was never any phat set in beta.. they only came from mods (i only heard of the red one, which the person that had it was careful to not give away to too many people) and the original poster failed horribly in pretending to have played then :? and that wasn't the only bug.. some of the bugs were hilarious to exploit.. some were just in the NPCs.. eg sheep could attack you, while you couldn't attack back.. the tip.it KBD trips were alot of fun too.. thank god they're bringing them back :D

Black Mistic gives more status than full infinity? no, he's saying that he prefers the black mystic colors to the full infinity colors, and "The stats of it dont worry me as i normally never do very much combat" :wink: and yes, the colors aren't exactly uniform, but that's kind of what makes it interesting: that's it's vibrant and different.. and i'm not sure exactly on the points needed for full + master wand, but it's definitely in the thousands for all categories. and thousands of telekentic points = HELL :evil: :evil: :evil:

Did you know... even though turoths take no damage from anything other than the appropriate slayer weapon attacks, you can still use guthans to heal from them. they don't take any damage, but you'll be healed as if you hit for the damage! just found that out today.. anyways, i didn't really find the article very interesting.. just a documentary. of course i can't really speak until i write something myself.. so maybe i should..

one point that might or might not have been made is that i believe (and i think i heard at some point) that jagex hires staff to be very oriented; that is, they've hired X amount of people to do quests, Y amount of people for skill updates, Z amount of people for graphic updates. so they can't just shift all their workforce into group Y or Z if they want; they'd have to train them or hire new people. and it would be nice to see more quests oriented towards high levels, or to have alternate paths through a quest based not only on combat level, but which skills you have (mentioned in the first page to a degree)

yes, it seems jagex has a sixteen character limit for items. like he said, an abbreviation. i think there's a few others in the game as well (admnt chainbody maybe) i've seen others, can't really remember them now though.

Well, I'm in my Junior year of HS, currently taking AP Calculus BC, and considering majoring in math, but I read more than anybody else I know. Does that mean that ultimately I'm not going to major in math? >_> your hope of a math major is the integral from 0 to 2pi of -sin(x)dx (worst. joke. ever. i seriously pwn you all in geekage. and so does calculus BC) anyways, don't feel bad, i read books too. lots of fun. and who needs to stay on topic when we can tell each other corny calculus jokes :wink: and to add some purpose to my post: i did a test to see if wands are faster at all. i used teacher wand (still working on master wand) and equipped armor, having total magic bonus of -66. tested for one minute, and had a total of 20 casts. did the same thing using the ancient staff and had the exact same results. so as far as i can tell, unless the master wand is different, they're the same speed.

to remove all doubt, yes, i could have faked it, but what point do i have in wasting mytime to make a fake pic? anyways... master wand is obviously the more useful if you're looking for maximum chance to hit, no question, but without more functionality people still aren't going to really use it, since they'd have to switch to god staff for the god spell, and fire wave is kind of a joke compared to other things that level...

not likely that he gets 10k bloods, that'd be saying each monster drops 1 blood 100% of the time, which just isn't true. still will be funny if (s)he ends up getting thousands of runes though. keep going and good luck not accidentally getting 'too many' again :wink:

the point is to give the tip.it times a bit of variety; if it kept repeating itself being a recap of the week's events it'd get rather boring after awhile. and i'll straight up tell you what the legit RS community thinks about the bannings - they're happy. that really took alot of deep thought on my part :P to that i say i really liked this one though. i didn't even read the title (or realize there was one) and thought people would be here asking what other library you were talking about :P anyways, love the colloquial style, and the great descriptiveness (especially in the last paragraph)

fine then, train to 109 instead and you'll rarely get attacked :wink: i do that too, it really does work just as well. no use needlessly risking another 30k on your trips (unless you're hoping to get a lucky streak hitting them, if they melee :lol: )

the problem with the entire thing is that retribution hits random damage, which less than the person's health is quite possible (unless it's one, then 50% chance). if you have a straight line chain reaction the chances of a succesful chain decrease greatly with the number of people (.5^(n-1), so for example if you had 10 people, chances of fully succesful would be .5^(10-1), which is .195%) a square one would be alot better for killing off everyone, but not necessarily in a nice chain; if the center man dies and only kills 4 of the 9 surrounding him, those four will damage those surrounding them, being those who were in the second level (the other 5 of 9) that got hit for 0, and those in the third level from the center. of course it's all random, but it'd be real funny to see in a video if you can get like a 9x9 square :P

Confession. I was with a friend at the market and we had to get some cabbage. I picked it up and yelled "Kah Bah Gee!" in the store and got random looks from people. To top it all off, a 12 year old kid looked at me startled and said "You're from the OoC!" i believe the point is that they're giving the aussies (who normally get the same ~5AM times north americans get now) not an incredible time, but ALOT better (7-10PM).. giving them a chance to participate since they get shafted on the majority of events and do complain excessively (however legitimate it is)

yep i almost got pked there i came back with rune and my weapon they ran away... What is the point of Pkin a runecrafter? an ammy?? waste of runes or time if ya ask me the point is that they're skulled and have no prayer (unless they spend more time taking precautions each trip, which not too many do) so you get the glory from pking. i know i always speak for the minority being lvl 109, but i rarely ever encounter anyone that can attack me while pking; it's just a waste of space to carry anything outside of the pouches and ess for me; in the rare event that a pker my level attacks, they're probably doing ice barrage, and the attack isn't quite fast enough to prevent dropping an ess, unequipping the glory and teleing to edge. so my quick tip to abyss runecrafting is to level up until you're 105+ combat :P

i'll be there if i can manage to stay up all night until 5AM.. and i probably will be, since i've missed like 3 weeks of events already (i propose we replace the crying emoticon with this one, definitely)
