Sorry if that offends you, but after spending the last 3 years at a Catholic High School (cool school, other than Religious Ed, that is why I won't move schools) that isn't the view I hold. It isn't really different to the sigs with things like " Jesus Christ died on the Cross for my sins and yours..." and "Proud to be a Christian" and whatnot. History This account was made around the 22nd of July 2006 after my old main (d3vilbro) was hacked. I took a little break, then desided that I would make an account which would pwn d3vilbro in almost every way. I got members last Friday (29th September) and thought I would make a blog. Starting Levels Level Goals: Start/Current/Goal 64/65/70 Att 63/63/80 Str 60/60/70 Def 60/61/75+ Ranged 57/60/60 Magic 52/52/52 Prayer 54/54/76 Fishing :shock: 66/80/80 Cooking 35/35/52 Agility 25/25/45 Herblore 25/25/40 Theiving 50/50/55 Crafting 37/50/70 Fletching 54/60/60 Woodcutting 53/60/60 Firemaking 39/42/65 Slayer 19/19/50 Construction Item Goals Whip Blue Mystic Obby Shield Obby Cape Full Guthans Black Mask Dragon Scimmy DDP++ Crystal Bow Rune Defender Yes, I know I have a long way to go, but I think most of these goals are realitivly obtainable, and I am hoping to have most of them completed by the new year. It will be a struggle however, as I will effectivly have to give up RuneScape untill middle/late November when my exams finish...

70 Att 96 Str 1 Def 1 Prayer 90+ HP 99 Range 60 Mage 71-72 Combat depending on what the HP level truely is. 70 Att is for two reasons. First it is so if it goes members then it will pwn with a whip. Second is that because of it's combat level it will be fighting Rune Pures/Mains in Rune, so it will hit more often (If it fights with Melee that is, 99 Range > 99 Str/Att/Mage etc any day of the week...)

I went in with a Str Ammy, DDP++ and Monks Robes at around flat 60's and it took me a full Invt of Lobbies to kill between 8-10 of them. If you go in with say a Dragon Scimmy/Long, Rune Plate, Rune Legs and am Antifire Shield you should be ok. Also take a Berserker Helm if your computer is reliable enough to activate Protect Item when you are Pked (and it will happen) without.

Atleast 70 70 70. Lets keep this on the first page shall we :wink: How effective would flat 70's be, in terms of how often would they hit me/how often would I hit them...

Thanks for the reply, but I am pretty sure I know the basics on what equipment/spells are needed to Melee them, as I have read the pwnage guide in the Archive of Wisdom :wink: Thanks Any insight into what levels would make going down there worthwhile?

So after seeing a few people camping at the Dust Devils, and getting pretty good drops, I have desided that I want to try it out too. Only problem at the moment is that I am a noob, and don't have the stats for it. Could anybody give me estimates on what Att/Str/Def levels I will need before attempting it? I will be training my Melee mainly with Slayer, so hopefully by the time I hit 65, I will be ready... Oh, and do get access to the Dust Devils how much of Desert Treasure do you need to have done? Do you actually need to kill any of the brothers beforehand?

2 examples of terrible pkers here: 1. I was training a Green Dragons (don't know why, just wanted to have a go...) when a Lvl 91 Pker shows up, skulled. I was 3 iteming so I wasn't worried but he desided to Entangle me anyway. Right after he casts he is attacked by a Green Dragon, which gives me some time. Then a few seconds later I look around and the other Green Dragon trainer (Lvl 113) attacked him for me. The noob Pker gets KO'd from a few DDP++ Spec's, my fellow trainer got a free DDP++ and I got to live another day. I was pretty pleased that he was taught his lesson... 2. I was on my way to train slayer (Ghosts ftl) in lvl 18ish Wildy when someone my level attacks me. I have no food, and am only wearing a DDP++ while he has a DDP, hides, rune helm etc, kitted out for pking. Anyway I manage to Redbar him with 3 Spec's as he runs away calling me a noob (unfortunitly he wasn't poisoned, only 1 more point of damage and I would have got some fr33 st00f)

A random guy gave me Full Rune, Scimmy, B-Axe and a 2-Hander while I was ranging Lesser Demons. I still have no clue why...

Monkey Madness, god I hate that Quest... Even with 52 Prayer I am unable to do it, to date I have died 10 times while attempting it. I really don't see how Pures can do it...

You wanna know why you keep dying... Because your account blows for pking, you will be fighting pures with like 90 str. Give up now, seriously, if you want to pk then make a Pure. There is a great guide in the Graveyard Help and Advice forum (Stickied I think...)

When you do lose the armour, is it usually one piece, or do you lose the entire set?

Well it seems you have all the advice of the combat styles that you need, however in my opinion you should aim to get HP as high as possible. Since you have 1 Def you will get hit very easily, so your HP's are the only things stopping you getting a free trip to Lumby...

What is the best way to stock up on a lot of them? Also when you fight the animated sets of armour, I assume you get the armour back when finished? Thanks

Nothing, they are actually very, very common. When you see people trying to sell them for huge ammounts of money it is just noobs trying to scam people...

This may be true, but the tip.it team puts in a lot of effort and you don't pay them anything that I don't think they deserved to be talked about like that. Don't get me wrong, I <3 Tip.It, IMO it is definatly the best Fan Site on the Web. Many of their Guides are great, however some of them can get a bit confusing (I personally havn't looked at the RFD Guide). In my previous post I suppose I just reccommend for the topic starter to check other Quest Guides, as sometimes they can be clearer... I will change the post incase anyone was offended... Oh and sorry for the post Jack :wink: Just check out a few different guides and you might be a bit clearer on what to do...

I guess that is what I am trying to ask, is the Scimmy really that much better, also can anybody link me to a good Monkey Madness Guide? -Edit- Any good guides other than Tip.It or RuneHq (RuneHq is blocked on my Comp...)

How much faster is it than Barbarian Village? Is it worth doing the quest?

Check some other Guides on other Fan Sites, sometimes they can be a little clearer on what you are required to do...
