Dragon Long vs Dragon Scimmy vs Rune Scimmy vs DDP++
d3vilbro replied to d3vilbro's topic in Help and Advice
Or Dragon Long? The whole point of this thraed is cmparing other weapons to the Dragon Scimmy, as I dislike that quest much! -
How do the other weapons compare to the Dragon Scimmy for Training Strength (and Attack to 70  ). I know that the Dragon Scimmy > All, however I am having a hard time with monkey madness, and am hoping that one of these is a suitable replacment... Thanks

Where can I find them? Thank you...

I don't think that this update is all bad, however I do think it was better before the update, these are the main problems which I see... The tools Menu is very inconvenient (sp), the icons look nice, but in reality are much harder to use than the previous design The colour of the text is something I just personally dislike, yellow was easier to read IMO I also prefered the old weapon menu, I'm not really sure why, and it isn't a big deal, but the previous design was superior I just don't really think they should have changed anything, such the icons look better now, but I think that it was much better beforehand

Rate/Hate... Personally I don't like them, how bout you?

F2p high level melee training (September 2006) (AoW)
d3vilbro replied to Lord_Gromit's topic in General Guides
Thank you very much. I have alway heard about the Ice Giants, but I have never really gone there, mainly due to a lack of information. I also applaud you for not having a generic peice of advice like "Kill Lessers from 50 Combat" which is something which I have seen a lot on these forums, and it really ticks me off. Very nice guide anyway, I am off to check it out now... -Edit- I just went down there, and I love it, tyvm for this guide. Oh and if anyone needed proof that this training spot pwns then here it is. I just saw Iron Duke500 down there, he is ranked 21st in the Top F2Pers at 123 Combat and he told me that he has been training down there for quite a while... -
What sort of Levels are required to camp there? Seeing as how effective it seems to be I might stay at Pest Control until I get my combat higher, then camp at the Dusties till I get a Chain

Meh I <3 my names, I always chose a name assuming that it will become high leveled, so I think both of my accounts names rock... Xc3ssiv I Xpk3r I 8-)

Well actually I brang Karma into it because I have been doing nice thing for people lately (Rune Scimmy + Cash to a friend when he was Hacked, Quite a bit of stuff to another friend who had terrible luck while training, and died like 4 times etc), and it is always nice to get things back for yur good deeds... I also, do not believe in Karma, I guess like "zubeedoo" I do nice things because I want to, and if I get something back down the line then so be it. It was just a title which seemed to fit, I've changed it now.... ...Happy

A discussion regarding giving away items.
d3vilbro replied to Centuramage's topic in General Discussion
Altough I understand what you are saying, I think it is foolish to call these Runescape Items "Just Pixels..". Although these items hold no "real" value, they do take time and effort to aquire, just like "real" money does. Whether you care to admit it or not, we all are attached to our characters and their items, mainly because they become a part of out lives (think how much time you spend a week trying to Level/Merchant/Whatever, then tell me that your Runescape Account means nothing to you, if they were "just pixels" we wouldn't play this game as much as we do, in order to become better) However, I go agree with you on a wider level, as this sort of thing happens in RL too, people in general just need to be grateful for whatever they do get given... -
Dustin, I will donate some Rune stuff for the drop party, message me either in game or through the forums please....

Wow, just 5 minutes ago somebody came into the Lessers where I was training my mage, and puts up a trade screen, he puts up a Rune 2-Hander and accepts, I thougt it was a joke at first, but he clicked accept again and the 2-Hander appeared in my invt. I was extremly happy and thanked him profusly, but then he puts up another trade screen. I proceed to sit there in awe as he puts up Full Rune, a Rune Scimmy and B-Axe and some green gloves then accepts twice and teles off. I just sat there in disbelievement at what just happened, then teled off and banked... I don't have a Pic, I can get one of the stuff in my invt just after he accepted, but I like to think I am respected enough on these forums not to need to (It's not ike I said he gave me a Phat or anything...)... I guess there isn't really a point to this thread, I am just supprised that someone was this nice. Has this sort of thing ever happened to you? If so what did you get?

31-40: Cows 40-55: Hobgoblins near Crafting Guild. Wear a Rune Chain, Rune Large and D-Hide Vamb and Chaps. That will give you enough of a Def bonus so you will rarely get hit. Otherwise you could power range across the water... 55+: I like training on Lessers Demons when they arn't too busy, however you could try Mossies on Crandor too

Keep it rotting in your bank...

Mage PKing with rune armor: Alternative to Ahrim
d3vilbro replied to TheAncient's topic in General Guides
Why not use a Zammy Book? It is replacable on death... -
Grow up, if you don't like the facts, then don't write pointless guides which give false information. There is no way the Lessers are a good way to train Melee untill atleast 100+ Cmb, untill then they will hit you too hard, too often, and it will take you too long to kill them. It is also very crowded. Deadly Red Spider's and Hobgoblins are much faster XP wise at that level...

The Player-Killing Project
d3vilbro replied to Panic_Pants's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
I have been on most days, just only for a few hours as I am still focusing on my main, I am in a different time zone though -
I wouldn't solely focus on the whip prices, if that is why you want to get slayer. As we all know, most of the good monster drops come from slayer monsters. So I am sure that at some point in the near future, a new weapon/armour peice will be brought out through a slayer drop. If you have the required level, then that could make you rich...

As soon as I get 60 Def, I will be getting started on that... Are there any area's or skills which you would reccommend that I check out?

Guide to quitting (or cutting down) [on] runescape
d3vilbro replied to blacksimon's topic in General Guides
Rather than giving away your bank, why not invest in a rare (if you can get the money together that is...) That way if/when you come back you will be required to do less to get your items back, possibly making it easier to play less when you come back...
