Skillers choose to dismiss combat, so if they really wanted to see that update, they could always gain some combat levels. It wont happen anyway.

Thats funny, because ive used many brawlers and only died twice out there. The only exception ill give you is hunter because of the multi-combat area, but even I found it very rare for clans to come by. 2 or 3 people yes, but they're easy to fend off. Wear black d hide and tele blocks will splash most times and then you can teleport (btw, glory lets you teleport under 30 wilderness). Its easy to use the agility course obstacles to your advantage when coming across a pk'er. Move around and log out. Besides, im pretty sure that dude with like 200 brawlers said you could use the dorg agility course for some great exp too. Haha, thats a pretty good idea Bruno. Never thought of that =D>

I think one of the reasons is that you can change genders so easily via the makeover mage, so you see so many males turning into females. I dont really see a problem, though. I'd say around 1/3 of my friends list are females.

Nail on head. You shouldnt be able to get 4x the experience in a skill you have brawlers for with ease (i.e. 1 iteming with the brawlers, dieing and returning). There needs to be an element of risk, which is apparent now with this update. Take teleports with you, food, cheap equipment to fend off any pkers etc. Dont like it? Tough. Just my 2c.

I'll take any exp boost - compare it to regular rates and it is an insane amount, just like sacred clay is. 1.2m an hour for firemaking was just complete bs and to think you're complaining because you're going to find it harder to reach that level of exp is a complete joke :lol:

You're getting 4x the experience, though. They arent useless. Like I said earlier, if you dont want to risk them as much, go to a normal zone outside the wilderness and get 2x experience. Its still going to be insane experience.

Stay below 30 wilderness and you're fine, as long as you dont get tb'ed (just wear some d hide for that). Can also use them in non-wilderness zones...2x exp is better than the normal rate after all. They arent useless at all - if you feel that way then just alch them and get your 30k cash.

OMFG JAGEX FAILS YET AGAIN!!!!! :roll: How can one not afford £6? I know we're in the recession and all, but £6 is spare change. No one can complain about that, but if you feel you can keep your account safe then dont buy one. Simple as. Its a great concept by Jagex, but 1+ year too late. People dont password scam much these days since they removed all means of xferring between accounts. Still protects from having your account stolen, though.

People are allowed to speculate - after all, its more than likely that it WILL be fixes to MA and quite possibly the Summoning tab. "working on some other stuff that we want to be launched at the same time. " Ive got a slight feeling that we'll have a 26k trick announcement thrown in there.

Id like to see all the people labelling a music cape "pointless" and "easy" go out and unlock every song.

I have plenty of level 3 skillers as friends, but I dislike them in general. I see them as attention seekers - get a combat level or two to prove you're not one of them and ill change my perception of you.

I know you cant provide information from that forum here, but are there exact quotes from Jagex stating that it was a mistake and Lucipher didnt macro in any way? Have you read a conversation between him and a Jagex mod? It helps that he knows Mod Andrew personally, too. Like I said, he got banned for either macro'ing, or playing too much (a la Zezima a while back). He wasnt banned for mousekeys. My friends and myself use them and one has used them extensively for a long time cutting teaks to 25m+ exp in woodcutting. So if he is completely innocent and it is the latter reason, then I think that is the biggest wake up call one needs to realise life doesnt revolve around Runescape.

And I think my friends who are/were in SS and can access the high level forums know about it better. Fact is, no one knows whether he did or didnt except Lucipher and Jagex. Assiwat can appeal for him all he likes and defend his innocence, but he can only take Luciphers' word for it. Either he was banned for macro'ing or he played too damn much that he was possibly viewed as a macroer. Jagex wont ban the rank third player (who was also a player mod) without extensive research. Oh and lets just clarify that he wasnt banned for using mousekeys as he believes occurred. I and many others use mouse keys and have not been banned.

Lucipher6 was banned for macro'ing. 'Nuff said. You dont know if hes completely innocent.
