Name those comic book characters (fairly large picture)

I spotted: All of the fantastic 4 Daredevil Iron man Thor The ones you mentioned Possibly Raven Dr Doom Elektra Wolverine Some guy from atlantis forget his name. That's all I got. -
Well, again, the best thing to do: Find something you two have in common, or make some excuse to start a conversation. Like a real conversation, not just a few words. Get to know her better, get her IM/msn, and talk to her. And if it doesn't work out, you will move on eventually.
-
EDIT: Noticed the age differences, and what his grade was. still, not the biggest difference. As for telling her, no, no no. No. If some random guy walked up to me and said he loved me, I would be really creeped out, and that kid would probably get a bad reputation in the school. Not a good idea.

Alright, it's not uncommon. From what I know, at least, you'll probably just forget about it after a while. ( a while might be a year or more) But, you have two main options, in my opinion. 1: Make an excuse to talk to her. Get to know her a bit. Talk to her on IM/MSN. Whatever. see how it goes from there. 2: Find her flaws. Everyone has them. Think about them, exaggerate them, try to look at different girls, and eventually it should pass. I'm not a guy, but that's from some experiences i've had, and what other people have talked to me about. Someone else will probably have better advice than me, though.

My grandfather on my dads side has alzheimers. My dad doesn't, hopefully I'll be ok. a lot of diseases though, but I can't remember the names.

So you hate atleast 50% of people on the planet, plus the guys you hate. Nice. 1: 2/3 Mexican 1/6 columbian 1/6 american ( I think that's right) 2: Good at memorizing numbers and words, and such. 3: Speak spanish 4: I usually am in plays at my school 5: Am probably better with using a computer than any other girl I know. oh, and i forgot to add this one to the list, over speculating know-nothings like you. i dont entirely HATE girls. i have a few teachers that i appreciate the most in school, and i talk and take care of my mom and my sister whenever they need it. its a strange coincidence that they're girls too hmm? anyways i'm done here. Hey, why don't you look what you wrote. "I loathe girls" So, naturally, if I am to believe what you said, then you hate girls, and you call me over speculating, because I read what you said, and assumed you weren't lying. Now, you're "over speculating" by calling me a 'know-nothing', when you actually know next to nothing about me, and I was the one who replied to what you said in a logical way. This is pretty much what just happened: "I hate all dogs" "Hating all dogs is probably a bad thing" "I NEVER SAID I HATE DOGS! YOU'RE STUPID!!!!!!"

Whoops. Meant it to be 1/6th for the last two.. haha

Ah, and the potential necrophiliac appears. Alright, I have to admit I laughed at that.

So, this weekend, I had: about 15 math problems, each took upwards of 5-10 minutes. A worksheet (30 minutes or so) of spanish, and to study for a test. For science, I had a packet, and a write-up to do on the packet. it took 2 hours to finish For Language Arts, I have to study for a test, and read about 100 pages, and explain the meaning of the book. For social science I have a 7 page thesis paper (Was assigned a week ago, due this Wednesday). And that's just for this weekend. Way too much homework. All in all, it ends up hitting 10 or so hours of homework. And that's with no breaks. So my weekend has sucked. And it's pretty much all like this. and homework is weighted heavily, so i fail if i don't do it, pretty much.

So I read the first page, and I was like wow. How did this get 6 pages while I was sleeping? Then I noticed bubsa posting. This threads like 2 years old, guys. But, pink looks good on some guys, bad on others. No color can affect your sexuality.

Tell me, why do we know right from wrong? Most likely, originally, our parents. Or a bible, or our environment. And if we believe god created everything, then that's all from him. Think of it this way. If God created the universe, I would imagine it like setting up a giant domino line, or domino art, or whatever. he flicks the first domino, and everything else is set into motion. While he doesn't directly control what the 1000th domino down the line is doing, what he did in the start, and how he set it up, predetermines it. You can't create free will. It simply is, or isn't.

It's relevant in that we were talking about if there actually is free will for us to choose what morals we will follow, if we were created. Since kind of had an Einstein quoting fest, I'll throw in one more quote that can pretty much summarize my basic opinion on religion, and morals: "A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death."

everything affects everything else, no matter how separated, or it will, eventually. Let's say, one day, in your normal life, someone steals your phone. Why they stole your phone is a different matter, but eventually it is all connected. Because they stole your phone, you miss a call from your friend, who you had been planning on meeting for coffee later that day. Your friend would have told you in that call, that he needs you to meet him an hour later, since he's running late. You don't know this, so you walk/drive to the coffee shop, and while going, you're hit by a car and you die. With your death, you effect countless people. The people who saw the accident, the guy who hit you, your friends, your family, the cops, the emergency workers, the truck that moved your car, all the people who had to wait in traffic for longer because of the accident, the staff at the hospital morgue, the funeral home, whoever your family/whatever pays to set up a funeral for them, and so on. And each of those tiny events, or large, in all those peoples lives affect many more people, in a small, or large way. Now, go back in time. There are only two people, in a contained environment. From the start, everything that happens (which is all caused by gods creation of them, and everything) will affect the future. You can't just take a creature, and say, POW, i give you free will! If you had the power to create a creature from scratch, and create it's environment, every "decision" it made would be linked back to you. And if your god, who is perfect, and omnipotent, you could see the future, and that would probably be how. You see what you did, and with your infinitely powerful mind, you could calculate and determine exactly how everything ever would happen.

Those last couple lines provide my opening. This is going to sound like complete bull to all you steadfast logic people, but follow me for a second. You are considering everything that goes into a choice. Everything follows a logical process, one thing flows from one to another, this builds on that. This is entirely logical. But it does not account for those rare instances outside logic. Those rare impulses that happen completely contrary to what anyone would expect based on "logic." Not everything can be or is built upon logic. Wrong. While it may not seem logical, everything is determined by a reaction of events. Even the most illogical thing is triggered by something, and based on the way your brain acts, you happen to make that choice. And the way your brain is is determined by genetics, which eventually, if you believe that, all leads back to adam and eve. My interpretation of all this, is Einstein doesn't, as he said, believe in a personal god, one that cares about humanity, but rather he believes in the possibility that there is something that created the universe. His stance is closest to agnosticism, and in the above quote, he simply said he doesn't have as strong an opinion about it as a all out atheist. Anyway, arguing over Einstein quotes is rather pointless. My point of view though, is if one is omnipotent, as god supposedly is, he can see the future. And if he can see the future, than there is no free will, since that means that it is all predetermined

As a girl, I think yes, but I doubt it would really work out.

Here's a source for everything on that page. go crazy. quote 1 Quote 2 Quote 3 quote 4 quote 5 Quote 6 Quote 7 Quote 8 Quote 9 Quote 10 Quote 11 Quote 12 The page on atheism.about.com was just a collection of quotes, not something with the author's actual opinions.

I call bull on that quote. Some research shows that that quote was not only not from Einstein, but the logic is flawed too. That's from a collection of Einsteins various journal entries. No historians have ever claimed that was true. It's simply another [cabbage] chain letter that's been circulating the web. Next time get a real quote instead of a fake one. http://atheism.about.com/od/einsteingodreligion/tp/Einstein-on-a-Personal-God.htm That's one link with various quotes about einstein's belief in god. I'm not going to take the time to verify those, but I've seen most of them on several different sites before, and in the actual books where some of them are compiled. As for your actual argument, that's crap too. God, supposedly, is perfect, omniscient, omnipotent, and so on. He created everything. the environment Eve supposedly lived in, and most importantly Eve herself. He created it all from nothing, and, even if that itself made sense, that means he was fully responsible for making the persons brain, mind, and conscience. Eve's flaw was temptation, something that, could be traced to her experiences in life, or her brain itself, both of which were created, or indirectly created by god, which leaves her with no true free will.

No, but, if you design an entirely knew species from scratch, then what it does is pretty much your fault.

Gaming careers can be hard to start, since most companies have requirements that include you working on atleast one succesful game, or something like that, which is hard to do, since most of the companies require you to do that. And you don't enroll into a career. You might enroll into a college that lets you major in something like that, but it will be harder with lower grades.

Where does it say in the bible to treat women badly? JW The whole original sin thing has lead to contempt for women in Christianity for thousands of years, and it still continues pretty much to this day. This is the first I've heard about this women-hating thing. And besides, probably everyone in this world would have done the same thing she did. She was made perfect, in a perfect world, and still sinned. What? If God created everything, and her "sin" was the culmination of her experiences and her mental genetic framework, then God was in turn responsible for the sin. Choice! Seriously, how do you not get that?? But god made her. Everything about her. So, naturally, any choice she made could be lead back to how she was created.

Neither have I, but I think I have such a negative view on the outcome that I'm never going to do it. I have never dated or anything but if dating is similar to biking or skiing or something, it's just fail fail fail till you get better at it : I will argee with you there lol, Anyway, my friend has a habit of dating people in year 10, the year below us. And well, his most recent girlfriend. "She is amazingly hot, I've already [bleep] her hard yada yada" I've looked at her, she seems average, I doubt you have [bleep] her, as it classifies as rape. Good times. Where are you from? Because someone in year 10, (unless I'm confused) where I am would be legal. The state I am in has one of the least open laws about this, most states have something like, if they are within X years of eachother, but here it's just: If they're over 15, and you're under 19, it's ok, or if they're 16 and your over 15, it's ok. I wouldn't say dating is like skiing or biking. It's about emotions, and not everyone is the same. While there may be some general strategies about getting someone to like you, asking them out and so on, it's always different. You might get better at reading people, but not everyone is the same.

[note] Alright. Living a moral life out of fear of god is selfish. If your ultimate goal is to get to heaven, and you will follow the bible, and live a moral life according to it for this reason, all you really care about is yourself. If nothing else, right is what benefits, and lets the most people live a healthy, and happy life. only following a strict guideline is ridiculous. If the majority of people who claimed to lead a moral life, by the bible actually cared about what was good for people, rather than getting themselves into heaven, the world would be a better place. Example: So, I'm sitting at my house, and a man breaks down my door, and holds a gun to my head. He tells me to donate all my money to some charity (Which I may or may not support). I don't want to die, so I go online and donate. Am I being selfless, or moral? No. I'm thinking about saving my own [wagon]. Let's start things off. For [bleep]s sake, kids hitting there teachers and parents. Unless they're physically trying to do them serious harm, they're probably just kids having a temper tantrum. Why are drugs immoral? Some of them might not be the best for you, but, neither is smoking, drinking beer or wine, (Which, if I recall, Jesus turned water to wine), or even something as simple as going out in the sun without wearing sunscreen. It might mess you up later down the road, but is it immoral? Teenage sex. Why is it less moral for two 17 year olds, who love eachother (I know, the majority of sex isn't this, but, whatever.) to have sex? Even if there's no love, why does it matter, if they're smart, use protection, and whatnot, it's there choice.
