  1. But who do we choose as the sacrifice if we need a quick escape? Don't have to outrun the zombies. Just have to outrun the fat kids. Wow, there'll be like three survivors, won't there. Just kidding. It's okay. Shhh, nobody's calling you fat. Just go make yourself a sandwich. Haha. That plan would work lent.

I got the goat problem wrong, because I didn't realize that the host always opens to a goat. It makes sense now.
  3. Maybe they killed you because they loved you, because your fate would be worse if they didn't.
  4. Grenades aren't that great. They are designed to kill by blowing apart vital organs, but rarely would a fragment hit the brain. It would disable the zombies, maybe, but it wouldn't kill the majority. Poisons don't affect zombies, if we're going with the Zombie survival guide definition, so no blowgun. A baseball bat would dent and bend after a few fights. The rest works though.
  5. We're basing this off of popular fiction's representation. IE: the zombie survival guide. So obviously we don't, but fiction is the only representation of zombies, and thus it is what we're using. Hitting a target is different than hitting the head and destroying the brain. Anyway, the best all around weapon would be a semi-automatic rifle. The only way to kill them is a headshot, so pure power doesn't matter that much, as long as a bullet can pierce the skull. A LMG, HMG or whatever would do a lot of damage, possibly immobilizing some, but you would waste hundreds of bullets for only a few kills. A shotgun has stopping power, and could knock a zombie down, but they're not good at anything but close range. A pistol is a good secondary weapon, but the chance of the average user scoring a headshot is slim. A smg is similar to machine guns, in that it just wastes a lot of bullets. An assault rifle is good, but if you have it one anything but semi-automatic it's just a waste of bullets. A flame thrower is pointless, unless you don't care about where you are. It will light them on fire, but it will take time for the fire to completely incinerate them, and in the process it will light wherever you are on fire. And if the burning zombies get too close, they might even light you on fire. A bolt action is almost as good as a semi-automatic, but it is slow to fire. A crowbar is a good hand to hand weapon, if not one of the best. It can crush the skull, and it won't wear out easily. And they're light, and common. A sword isn't as good, because they dull, are hard to come by, and not all of them are strong enough to cut through bone. a baseball bat would work for a few fights before it would break Chainsaws can be dangerous to use normally, cutting a stationary piece of wood. Even in controlled situations, accidents happen. Not only are they unwieldy, they make a lot of noise, and they will run out of gas. So, long story short, I'd take a semi-automatic rifle. I don't know what type would be available, but as long as ammunition isn't uncommon, it still would be good. Then, a pistol of some sort for a secondary weapon, for if I'm in close quarters, or something. Then, have a crowbar for a melee weapon.
  6. actually the guide indicates flaws in both of those weapons. flamethrower--very heavy and fire does not kill instantly so you are stuck with flaming zombies for a long while. chainsaw--heavy, fuel dependant and has a tendency to spray bio hazards everywhere lol my choice for weapons would be a ak47 for medium range along with a katana/machete/wakizashi depending on availability. AK won't do much. It's a proven fact. Shotgun stands a better chance gun-wise. Katana is another option, it'll take some out. But, chainsaw all the way. Chainsaw is useless. Ak47 is better than a shotgun at anything than at point blank.
  7. I was just playing ffa today, and my absolute favorite weapon for it is the m14, using a acog scope or red dot. I got the highest score like 5 rounds in a row, then I left. What I did was just find a building, block the exits as best I could with claymores, and snipe. I like it better than a normal sniper rifle because if someone gets close, I can just hip fire and usually hit them twice for a kill.
  8. I don't think I have any other problems, the only reason I bothered posting this was because my speakers started to act funny/try to play sound after kaspersky said the trojan was deleted, but it was literally only a few seconds after. And my full computer scan just finished, nothing showed up.
  9. I don't know too much about homosexuality, but isn't it debated whether homosexuality is choice or genetics? I'm a christian and I've been taught that homosexuality is considered evil. But if people are born that way, isn't that a little bit unfair? The only people who ever debate that it is a choice are those with a vested interest in it being so, i.e. those who believe homosexuality is wrong and use that to justify descrimination. Psychologists are pretty much across the board convinced its not a choice. Whether its something that happens during foetal development, whether its genetics or due to factors whilst growing up is still unknown. But there are very few psychologists who have gone on record as saying it's a choice. And most of those equally have vested interests in that being the case. FREUD! Homosexuality is, at any rate, something that can be ignored. Sociopaths are born with a disposition to ignore society's laws, so is it then just that we 'discriminate' against them by locking them up? Homosexuals made a choice to follow their primal hungering, and I frown upon that. While I certainly do not think any punishment should be bestowed upon them upon this earth, I would hope that they understand that implications of their actions. Sociopaths aren't punished for being sociopaths. They are punished for breaking laws.
  10. So I was on a random website, and kaspersky (virus protection, if anyone doesn't know.) Pops up saying it just detected a trojan that I had just downloaded from the site. With Kaspersky I deleted the trojan, (trojan.js.agent.ja) but right after that, my computer started to make a lot of noise. The fan went on, and then my right speaker, which is mostly broken started making staticy sounds. A few minutes ago, both my speakers made a popping sound. like they had just blown out or had been turned off. They still work, but the staticy noise has stopped. I don't know if this is at all related. Anyway, I'm scanning my computer with kaspersky, and so far nothing has come up. Anything else I should be doing?
  11. Well, slow zombies. They last forever, or for years at least, they can't climb and they aren't smart. if it's the end of the world, in other worlds, society has collapsed everywhere, few people are left alive, and so on. I stay in my house as long as I can, stocking up on supplies from nearby areas. My house is secluded, so I would probably be safe for a while. In any case, I'd eventually go to a store near me that sells guns, stock up, and hope I'm a good shot. then I'd go downstate to the more rural agricultural areas, and try to build a stronghold, or atleast find a secluded area. Then try to grow food, and survive as long as I can. Fast zombies. If these are like 28 days later zombies, who die after a few weeks from starvation, I'd move to my basement, barricade everything with pretty much all the furniture in my house. I have more that enough food in my house to stay alive for more than a month, and just hope they don't find me en masse.
  12. 3 hunters and a smoker... that sucked. [hide=][/hide]
  13. Are we counting thumbs as fingers here? Because if not, he could just have hands covered with thumbs.
  14. I remember reading that book a while ago. I think that was the first time I read a (sort of) alternative history book. It's kind of hard to think that if just one little thing happened differently, say, 100 years ago, the world might very well be a different place. What if some important president, like abraham lincoln died as a child? Where would we be now? What if Hitler had never been born, and WWII never happened, etc.
  15. Well, the self link made me laugh. I personally don't mind the news threads. Sometimes I hear about something interesting, and the rest of the time I just ignore them.
  16. I don't know if I'm good or if I was just playing with really sucky people, but I beat blood harvest versus playing 3v1, when I was the survivors. I just stayed on top of the hay bales in the shed, and even when the roof and all caved in, they couldn't get to me before i killed them. And I could kill any smokers before they paralyzed me. I want to see how well this strategy works on expert, since I've never tried being in there on single player. Any one have any experience? It might be better for tanks since it's harder to get trapped or something. Anyone have any experience with this?

Over the radio May heard a voice asking if she was alright. "Uh.. yes. Just startled me..." She paused, then continued "We should be safe for now. They shouldn't be able to catch up. Just keep driving. Try to keep a steady speed. We do not need to run out of gas on the way back.." The trip was slowed down a lot by broken down or abandoned cars littering the road, and the occasional infected that had wandered onto the road. More than once they had seen a car with an infected trapped inside, slowly banging it's fist against the window. Over an hour later, they had reached a checkpoint before the military base. The gate was broken in, and the path to the base was open. As they drove past the gatehouse, they saw the bloodied remains of a solider, who had seemingly died defending his post. "Stay alert, there could be any number of zombies waiting for us."
  18. Almost all my dreams are lucid these days. It's pretty interesting, but I usually forget them soon after.

May was a bit worried, she had only planned on taking two cars, and if Cal got separated from them or crashed things could end badly. She tried her best to put the thoughts out of her mind. She sped up and drove in front of the other car, and made a quick 90 degree turn onto the road. She accelerated more, hoping to get past the advancing horde before they got to her. But, from out of a tree, a hunter jumped onto her hood. She heard the sickening crack of one if it's bones. It seemed not to notice, however. It crawled towards the windshield, and started to bang it's fist against the glass pane. May lost control of the car in a second of shock, and almost drove off the road. She slammed on the breaks, causing the hunter to go flying off into the road. May, still stopped, saw the other car drive past her, and as it did, Falcon took a shot at the hunter, killing it. She took a moment to breath, then hit the gas again, and was back on the way to the military base.
  20. and before you say junk trading isn't a scam, let me re-iterate; you are still selling the rare for g.e. price, you just force other players to buy your useless junk too it's the equivalent of going to a restaurant, ordering a salad, and being told you also have to buy the bowl, silverware, napkin, table cloth, your chair, the table, and 50 bendy straws otherwise you can go elsewhere this practice would NEVER fly in the real world and any business who tried it would quickly go out of business No, it's the equivalent of going to a restaurant, them cooking you a dish worth 30$, but there's a law that makes it illegal to pay more than 15$ for a meal, and so to make it legal, they also throw in the table, bowl, etc. to make it worth 15$ more
  21. I can join someone. Don't know how good I am compared to you guys, but whatever.

"Sadly no. Turn your radios on if you haven't yet, and put the headsets on." May drove out of the garage first, Cal followed her on the bike and the other car was behind him. The zombies were approaching fast. "Get onto the road. Do not hit them" May shouted into the radio "The last thing we need is a broken car right now"

"Well, I started a company, was successful, sold it and built this place with some of the money. Not too exciting. That's the last few years. Before that I was in the army clearing the country of the first zombies. Now, I think we have to go." May walked to the door, unlocked it, and held it open. Everyone stepped out of the house, and may turned around and locked the door with a key. Everyone ran towards the garage, when they heard a far off, bloodcurdling scream. "Get in the cars! HORDE!" May shouted, as she jumped in the passenger seat of one of the cars.
  24. I was once taking out a eye in something we were dissecting, and the scalpel slipped slightly and stuff from the eye shot into my face.
