I'm proud of my 6.6.06 join date at around 6 pm (It used to say the time you joined, on the old forums I think) Oh gawd that was a fun day. Anyone remember Durial321? I joined the forums because of that.

  3. I smothered my first boyfriend,I guess, but then I realized what I was doing wrong, and I've tried to not repeat that mistake. So hopefully this will go well.
  4. We were just talking about the insta-move thing, how about we wait till tomorrow before anything happens. Or, if you want, all your people starve to death and die from the elements. ... Why? What is so wrong with an insta-move? And as for the elements thing, my people are reptilian... Well, it's kind of stupid. Build more ships, buy more ships, it'll be done soon enough. 40 years, actually. And I won't have the manpower on my planets to do anything substantial until about 15 years. Why didn't we just stay in the other thread then? All an insta-move will do is encourage interstellar activity. The purpose of moving threads was so we could make it easier for new players to start, and keep track of the maps and all better. How many people do you have on Harakkis or w.e now? About 800,000. Only 249 million to go. Tell you what, let's just say that once you get ~10 million people on that planet, we can just say all your people are there. Would that be ok?

  8. Not really looking for advice, just if anyone cares, someone I had a huge crush on for like two years, and then still had some feelings for ever since just asked me to a dance, which I'm really happy about  .
  9. Just generated a system, or discovered one, whatever. My ships have just reached the system with the paradise planet, at the same time my communications reached them with new orders. The station ships are upgrading all the other ships with FTL tech. They will then head off to the other system I made. The fleet heading there is the following: 10 Station Ships, 8 Colony ships, 4 Harvester Ships, 13 Medium Cruisers, 1 capital battleship. On Earth, I'm working on building a few more production stations. The space elevators I've been building are now complete, cutting ship prices by 20%. Also, I made a trade with the BE. Basically, all of my African territories, other than Lesotho, Ethiopia, and South Africa, and most of the people there for Canada. I'm also paying for the Burmese purchase for the BE. All citizens are being moved from Canada to BE land. The most loyal African Brazilians are being moved to South Africa. The BE is also keeping their Canadian oil reserves, which are also being moved currently. Because of the fairly decentralized way I've kept control of Africa, the citizens there don't care too much about the transition. I might have forgotten something from this trade, but oh well.
  10. It's Aspergers, not asbergers.. And I don't care if you have some syndrome, that doesn't mean you're more intelligent than me. Considering you thought that e=mc2 was the same as newton's third law, and don't know how momentum relates to energy I think you're losing.
  11. There are so many things wrong with your post... but wow. That would be Newton's third law of motion. E=mc2 is about how energy relates to mass, and the conversion between mass and energy. My bad, E=MC2 translates Energy = Mass * (speed * speed)(speed of light in vacuum, but still does not say anything about energy - energy conversion but momentum - energy conversion Magnetically not magically. That amount of tungsten might way over 150 tons but would easiley stand the weight of the Burj Dubai on top of it and therefore easiley hold its own weight. There are other conversion things for those. Those are way more basic anyway. Either way, you wouldn't be able to move the tungsten for building, with that much of it. Sorry.
  12. Actually, it doesn't take a lot to have a field, but to have one that magically stops objects definitely does. Also, 7m blocks of tungsten would cause it to collapse. A 7mx7m block of tungsten would weigh over 150 tons. The actual translation e=mc2 is Energy=Mass x Constant (The speed of light in a vacuum) squared.

  14. Mather, once again, your metal break the laws of energy conservation. And how would you keep an electromagnetic shield in place. It would also black out all communications with the rest of the world, and make it so most electronics wouldn't work. Plus the whole idea doesn't make sense.
  15. I personally don't like the idea of insta-moving population. Also, Ross, on the map you posted, there's one white star that's unlabeled.
  16. That would be fusion bombs. And that would be because I occasionally have other things to do than obsessively edit a post, hex.
  17. Gdp in this game is less of a measure of actualy money, then what you are capable of doing. Even if you have workers do everything for free (Stupid), you still can't build infinite whatevers.
  18. I added those new systems. Also, I'm not signing any treaty. I don't like signing treaties. As most people know, I'm very isolationist in this game, and yeah. So to anyone saying that to hex or whomever that they would need to take on all the superpowers to take zhoreuc, that's not true. Especially since if I wanted to take control of Zhoreuc, my fleet is a good lightyear out, and there are no military ships anywhere near Zhoreuc. Also, I suggest that people think about what they're doing before declaring "total" war. Sort of like when Argentina tried to take the Falklands, the UK didn't go and kill all Argentinians in Argentina. Think of the consequences before you act. 10 Station Ships have been equipped with FTL drives, and are heading off to an unknown destination. They are being escorted by two of my remaining 3 battleships from the Earth garrison. Also, designs for a new type of ship are nearly done for me.
  19. Sorry Dusty. I didn't really tell anyone, I wasn't even on irc at all.
  20. [hide=Brazil]In the summer of 2010, a new president was elected in Brazil. She ran on the platform of a massive overhall of the entire government and economy. She agreed to an alliance with Argentina, and the South American Republic was formed. Within a few years, much of South America was under SAR. All of South America was eventually controlled, but a dispute caused the Republic to disband. Brazil thrived separately, and after a few years, Angola offered to join us, due to our common heritage. From there, we gained the allegiance of Botswana, DRC, Namibia, and Zambia. It was at this time that we unveiled the most technologically advanced project in world history, sending a ship to another star. This joint project with Norway progressed for over two decades before completion. Around the same time, the Central American Nations League offered to join Brazil, in light of World War III in Europe. Colonists also took control of the recently destroyed nations of Mexico, and the USA. Around a decade later, World War IV rallied several more African Countries under our banner. With the completion of our Underground Habitation Project in the Americas, we have become one of the most industrially, infrustructurially, and economically powerful nations in the world. [/hide For what it's worth, several abandoned above ground cities are being converted into massive industrial factories. The purpose of this is not publicly available. For reference, these cities are located in Argentina.
